  1. SI staff did say the info about the skins matches up with the work that they're doing, so it wasn't for nothing, it did help. It's just a temporary solution until it gets permanently fixed, I'm sure we're all aware of that, both the SI staff and the forum users.
  2. I started using this skin : https://www.fmscout.com/a-material-skin-fm20.html And the improvement has been immense. My FPS in menus is around 110 (also please don't limit it to 30 again SI, I want my menus to look smooth too. Or just have an option for it but don't take my smoothness away), and it's around 110 FPS in the 3D matches too, and I don't get those FPS drops to 55 anymore. I would still be happier if I could reach 144 FPS just like I did in FM 19, but this is definitely an improvement.
  3. Wow, using the Material skin did help. If SI staff are still following this thread, this should help them immensely. I guess something's very wrong with the default skin?
  4. Yeah but if you don't have a >60hz monitor it won't matter. If you have a >60hz monitor, the game changes your FPS limit accordingly so there is no issue in that regard. I have a 144hz monitor and mine's unlocked, the issue is that it can't push past 80 and drops to 56 constantly.
  5. That won't change anything. You can already limit your FPS with programs like RivaTuner, if the game is poorly optimized, there is nothing the users can do.
  6. There is no solution. The optimization is bad, it's up to SI to fix it. Games can have issues that's understandable, but what makes me confused is SI staff and Miles saying that this only affects "some users" when the "majority" they're talking about just don't care about the slight stutter. FPS always drops to 56 no matter what you do, and it's even worse if you have a >60hz monitor. Even with a high-end computer you can't push past 85 FPS and it STILL keeps dropping to 56 FPS.
  7. Yeah I'm not saying anything until it gets 100% fixed. It still drops to 55 FPS, still looks jittery, and still can not push past 75 FPS. Unacceptable, I get better fps in graphically demanding games released in 2019
  8. I'm almost certain those who say that the "fix" helped them are people who managed to reach 60 FPS. Because everyone I talked to couldn't see above 70 FPS. For example, I talked to some people on reddit, they said that the performance was fine, I asked their FPS and none were higher than 70 FPS. Mid-High tier computers should be getting way more FPS, they shouldn't struggle to stay at 60 FPS. I switched the game to my second monitor which is 60hz, it looks okay, but still drops to 55 which makes it look stuttery. Not to be rude but you say people who get performance issues are in the minority, I disagree with that, barely managing to stay at 60 FPS is not signs of good optimization. A casual/average player may think it looks fine, but it in reality it is not. 1-Yes. 2-I can instantly notice it. It looks a little jittery, and I use a 144hz monitor so I can notice that the game is not smooth as it should be. I had ZERO issues with FM19's graphical engine, I wasn't dropping below 143 FPS in FM19. 3-Yes. It's the same in all settings. 4-Attached 5- Here's a video of my task manager during a 3D match DxDiag (1).txt
  9. I actually downloaded FM 19 to try it again. You can see my FPS on the bottom left. Honestly, I have no clue. What I really want to know is how I can get such good FPS in one game, and bad FPS on the other. I decide to pre-order the game once and this is what I get :/
  10. It gets stuck on 55, then jumps to 80, drops back to 55, sometimes 50 (when the whole field is shown for example). It looks smooth for a few seconds, then gets jittery/stutters because of the fluctuation. I also have a 144Hz monitor so I would love to get 144 FPS, just as I did in FM 19.
  11. Dxdiag attached. I tried every setting ranging from very low to very high. My FPS barely changes. It seems like changing the quality settings doesn't really affect my FPS. DxDiag (1).txt
  12. The FPS is still not good enough. FM 19 could consistently provide 144, now I'm dropping to 50. What changed?
