ACS Kids Tâmpa Braşov - Season 2025/26

League / Relegation League - A fantastic first season in the top flight predicted to finish rock bottom we managed to stay well away from relegation and made ourselves one of the best of the rest. With the league split we half our points into the relegation group which made it a little more interesting instead of having a 14 point buffer from the bottom four we had a 7 point gap but our ability to pick up points against bottom half teams meant we were never really in danger finishing 2nd overall in the relegation group dropping one place overall a healthy 10 points out of the relegation playoff places and 13 points off automatic relegation. Going into next season I may have a play around with my formation have used a 42DM31 formation since the start but feel it has its limits going forward, Against teams around us its pretty solid but the top teams it struggles and we are left facing 20+ shots a game I'm looking at a 343 which has started well going into next season although its very leaky and seems to be a very we will score more than you tactic with a few 4-2 results already.

Cupa Romaniei - Still not doing very well in this competition manged one win but knocked out in the fifth round this time.

Youth Intake - Cristian Balan YP26A Daniel Dumitrescu YP26B and Raul Dican YP26C

Marian Voiculet YP22F - Won Romanian Liga I Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Named in the team of the year and finished as the Liga I top goalscorer last season smashing the leagues record with 31 goals also finished with the most assists (9) and highest AvRating (7.32) at the club. Wants to move to a bigger club although no interest in him i feel he may leave on a free but have 2 years to pursued him or sell him on for big money

Finances looked bleak being 500K in the red but after the new season started the league signed a new tv deal and we got a new main sponsor which has put us back in the profit with a f ew player sales hopefully we can stay that way and maybe invest in the facilities a little more

ACS Kids Tâmpa Braşov - Season 2022/23

League - In what was a very tight league season where 5 points split 1st to 5th we managed to match our previous best 2nd place finish! Only losing twice and ending up 2 points off top

Liga II Championship Playoff - We went the 10 games unbeaten and strolled our way to winning the Championship by a massive 10 points over FC Hermannstadt. Two of our youth prospects were instrumental in us gaining promotion with Mariam Voiculet YP22F Picking up the leagues top goal scorer with 16 goals which has led to the big teams sniffing around trying to unsettle him I'm going to do my best to keep hold of him for our first season at least as I have struggled to get anymore decent strikers in my intakes. Florin Botezatu YP22D was the other part of our Championship win the inside forward bagged 14 goals and 7 assists scoring the final goal in the 3-0 victory over FC Hermannstadt which sealed the title for us.

Cupa Romaniei - Finally progressed past the first attempt getting 2 wins before we lost with a last minute goal against Liga I opposition in CFR Cluj

Youth Intake - Another possible 'Golden Generation' with Bogdan Solovastru YP25A, Aurel Iovan YP25B and Marton Angyal YP25C the pick of the bunch.

ACS Kids Tâmpa Braşov - Season 2022/23

League - After last seasons amazing second place finish we lost 3 first team players who all wanted moves to bigger clubs the money offered was too good for the board to refuse so had no choice but to let them go. Unfortunately 3 other key players were unsettled and also wanted moves which i turned down leading to horrible morale during the whole season and we ended up drawing far too many games meaning we fell short of the Championship playoffs by head to head with U Cluj finishing 8th overall. With our new club vision the board want to concentrate on youth development and in three years time want to have the best youth system in the country. Leading to immediate investment in both junior coaching and youth recruitment. Also with the sales of those key players and a couple new sponsorship deals we were able to upgrade the training and youth facilities. The downside is Top league clubs are literally unsettling all of my new youth players before they have even started a game for the first team. I have offered long contracts but feel I will lose a lot as reputation is still so low that they want to jump ships as soon as a little interest is there.

Liga II Relegation Group B - We were by far the best of the rest outside the championship playoff groups finishing top of the relegation group.

Cupa Romaniei - Knocked out at the first try against lower league opposition again. One day i will make it past the first hurdle.

ACS Kids Tâmpa Braşov - Season 2022/23

League - We had a great second season in the league pulling of a remarkable second place finish overall and qualifying for the Championship playoff.

Liga II Championships Playoff - With the fantastic finish to the regular league season we looked to bring that form in to the playoff picking up a win, draw and a loss in the first three games. Then my three star players decided they wanted a move to a bigger club great timing they all kicked up a fuss and we managed to go on and lose the remaining 7 games, just falling out of the last playoff spot. With it looking like we may have to move a few on I doubt I will get the same chance next season and luckily all the board want is to avoid finishing bottom again.

Cupa Romaniei - Knocked out at the first try against lower league opposition again.

Finances were terrible and we were 150K in the red but the chairman pumped 250K in to help with the running cost which was nice although its back down towards the red again

League - Predicted to finish rock bottom we had a okay start picking up a 4 wins in the first 5 games. However the joy was short lived losing the next 4 in a row and only picking up 3 wins in the remaining 14 games we dropped down the league finishing 14th. Drawn in the Liga II Relegation Group A. Our Form was great we lost 1 game winning 3 and drawing 2 we survived relegation finishing 2nd in the group.

League - We did the unthinkable and smashed our media prediction of 13th and remarkably won both the league and Championship Playoff.

Cup - Knocked out in the Fifth round again by local rivals Dinamo Bucarest after beating Poli Timisoara in the forth round.

Youth Intake - After a preview of another possible 'Golden Generation' in which was proceeded with a whole lot of negative there we three decent looking prospects who could contribute to the first team.

League - Relegation Group B - Romanian Cup - Finances - Transfers

League - Made a good account of ourselves in our first season finishing 8th in the league proper 2 spots out of the Promotion playoff. We were then drawn into the relegation group B where we topped the table.

Cup - After beating lower league oppostion in the forth round we drew Liga I side FC Arges who tried poaching our HOYD the week before we gave them a good game eventually losing 1-0

Youth Intake - Potential Golden Generation the best two of the bunch were a goalkeeper which was great as we only had one 16 year old after last seasons keeper refused to sign a contract as he wasn't happy at the club. Also a Centre Mid who i may retrain as a right winger ( I didn't get a screenshot of the player list)

Romanian Second League Team of the Season - Alin Ploaie the young keeper who was the only keeper at the club managed to get himself in the team of the season . Which surprised me as his attributes are pretty poor but he did make a lot of saves.

The hardest part of the season so far is getting the players to like me, I think I am finally winning them round as managerial support is poor instead of very poor. So after last years attempt getting through 11 seasons I managed to finally topple TNS off top spot with Port Talbot in the Welsh league the two seasons i spent in Europe I managed to reach the group stages of the Euro Conference League and that was as far as I got before real life got in the way and I had less time to play. So moving in to FM21 I have decided to take the challenge of getting the 1986 European Champions back to their former glory.

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 10 (2030/31)

Competitions - Squad - Transfers - Finance - Season Review - Season Awards - Overall Best 11

Europe - After falling at the final hurdle last season we finally managed to get through the qualifying rounds to reach the group stage. We beat WIT-Georgia, Progres, Hammarby IF and Dinamo Brest to make the group where we were drawn with Levski, AaB and Krasnodar we started off very well with a draw against Levski win against AaB and Krasnodar unfortunately we struggled away from home and lost all three of the last group games finishing 3rd and knocked out! Thankfully the money we made finally gave us the opportunity to become professional top up training facilities, youth facilities, Junior Coaching and Youth recruitment.

League - With the start of the season form being so great qualifying for the group stages we rode a wave of good fortunate and seemed unstoppable the whole first stage of the season TNS and ourselves went undefeated and found ourselves 4 points clear at the championship split stage we managed to extend that gap to 6 point with 5 games left with TNS slipping up and drawing we clinched the title with 2 games remaining now with the task of an invincible season we faced TNS on the final day which of course we went on to lose but we had finally knocked them off their perch after 18 title winning season in a row

Cup - We managed to win the Nathaniel MG Cup for the second time but lost in the Welsh Cup Quarter final against lower league Flint Town

Dame Boye 28K - 27 goals in 39(2) appearances but is making noise about wanting a move to a bigger club already

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 9 (2028/29)

Competitions - Squad - Transfers - Finances - Season Review - Season Awards - Overall Best 11

Europe - Started against Faroe Island side Vikingur Gota where we dominated both games and came away with a 4-2 aggregate victory after both games. A harder challenge next up against Hungarian side Ujpest losing the first leg 1-0 away we were up against it needing a result at home we rode our luck and with a 3-1 win we made it through against Norwegian side Molde a 1-1 away draw we beat them 2-1 at home sending us through and one game away from reaching the group stages could we do it? No we drew Southampton in the last qualifying round were smashed 6-1 at home and 5-2 away

League - It was obvious early on it was a race for 2nd between Connah's Quay and ourselves and with a mid season injury crises we lost a few key players which gave Connah's a little lead on us which we just couldn't turn around finishing 3rd but still in the Euro Cup II qualifying spots

Cups - With the Euro Cup II qualifying going so well we had to play a second string early in the MG Cup and were knocked out at the first stage 3-2 by Guilsfield, The Welsh Cup defence was a little better we made it past the first hurdle only to lose to Barry in the 3rd round.

Sib Khumalo 25F - Still by far our greatest ever player completing a solid season

AdamConnor 22L - He does the dirty work so Sib is free to dominate 90% Tackles won!

Dame Boye 28K - Came in when Ben Walters got injured and took his spot 10 goals in 15 games

So i have just came round to renewing first team contracts and the fringe players and below who were on part time contracts between 10 per week to 120 per week all wanted amateur contracts so changed to part time and offered 5 pound per week and they all accepted? Just took 1K off my weekly budget? The Welsh league is very weird transfer wise i have never had an offer over 0 for any of my players also have a few fringe players on amateur contracts who turn down every team that come in for them. Anyone else playing in Wales having similar outcomes?

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 8 (2027/28)

Competitions - Squad - Transfers - Finances - Season Review - Season Awards - Overall Best 11

Europe - We drew B36 from the Faeroe Island in the first round and after losing the first leg 1-0 we manged to turn it around with a 2-0 home win. We then were given the mammoth task again of beating Rangers in the 2nd qualifying round still being a semi professional team still we were always going to struggle losing 5-0 away. However giving them a good run for their money at home we just lost 4-3 in a thriller.

League - What a season going unbeaten in the first 26 games unfortunately we are in the same league as TNS who although we beat them early on they seem to not like drawing as many games as us this was the state of play with 5 games left after just losing our first game of the season against TNS 2-1

Of course in true FM style our form completely dropped and we couldn't win a game well we only won 1 game losing 2 and drawing 2. We finished second for the third year running but closed the gap. Hopefully we can get an easy run and qualify for the Euro Cup II so we can get some more funds to go professional and improve the youth facilities.

Cups - Where we cannot keep pace with TNS in the league the cups were a different story i seem to have found a way to frustrate them in one off games and snatch draws and wins. We met them in the final of the MG Cup where we beat them 2-1 to lift our first piece of silverware with a 2-1 victory. The Welsh cup was also ours for the first ever time we beat TNS 1-0 in the semis where we met Colwyn Bay and beat them 1-0 also to claim a double.

Sib Khumalo 25F - Picked up the Welsh Young player of the Year award and our Player of the Year awards

Ben Walters 21K - Smashed the goalscoring record again with 27 goals 17 in the league

Nigel Jeffers 28E - A great prospect who isnt far off the first team already

Dame Boye 28K - Finally a striker that looks like he could become better than Ben Walters

Barry Jones 28A - The most Welsh name ive seen! Good young centre back

U19s picked up the title again

We also got a Junior Coaching Upgrade but they wouldn't give us a Youth recruitment bump again

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 7 (2026/27)

Europe - Our first season in the Euro Cup II saw us drawn against Armenian side Alashkert we drew 1-1 in the away first leg and managed to get a convincing 6-1 home win going through 7-2 on agg. We then squared up against Serbian side Partizan who tore us apart over 2 legs we eventually lost 6-3 on agg our first European adventure finished at the Best Placed 2nd Qual. Round. The money from the two games did however give us enough to finally upgrade our recruitment and junior coaching. The board did also agree to upgrade our Youth facilities only for this to be cancelled due to poor finances at the end of the season :seagull:

League - After last years success i thought we would struggle to re create the form as we were very lucky but after a slow start we seem to have a very defensive team and tactic which helped us a lot a few 0-0 draws at the start of the season slowly turned in to some smash and grab 1-0 wins and we started to gain a buffer in second which after the championship split we cemented ourselves in. Still so far off TNS at the top of the league where they won the league by 25 points winning 29 out of 32 games.

Cups - Out in the first round of the MG cup on Pens ( i swear out of 10 shootouts i have only ever won 1). Welsh Cup wasn't much better losing after extra time in the 4th round.

Notable Player Performances

Sib Khumalo 25F - Continued on from last season and really is our Key Player now 4 goals and 14 assists with AvRating of 7.41

Ben Walters 21K - Broke the scoring record this season with 13 goals

Adam Connor 22L - Building a great partnership with Sib in the middle Future Captain

Youth Candidates - Not much to shout about with this intake i don't think hopefully a few can surprise me.

Mark Ryan 27D - Centre Back that can tackle and shoots from distance

Daniel Perry 27B - Back up forward

u19s Won the Youth Cup!!!

I cashed in on the negotiated clause the board had with Liverpool for the Youth player they poached a few years back made just under 75K for him

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 6 (2024-25)

League - We played well above our means this season and only lost 2 games but still managed to finish 14 points behind TNS after drawing far too many games to compete. We over achieved so much with a few change of roles and Seb dominating in the advanced playmaker role we can now embark on our first season in the Euro Cup II. I highly doubt we will finish in the same spot next season but hopefully we get some good finances in from the European competition and can start investing in the youth structures at the club!

Cups - We reached the final of the MG Cup for the first time after finally beaten TNS in the semis on pens, unfortunately after beating the best team we went on to lose the final 1-0 against Bala our second final heartbreak in this save! Welsh cup was a disappointment after reaching the semis last season we crashed out st the first hurdle 2-0 against Haverfordwest.

Notable Player Performances

Sibongiseni Khumalo 25F - 16 year old breakthrough first season for the Advanced Playmaker and he did not disappoint looks to be our best player ever already winning player of the year

Jonathan Grifiths-Holmes 21H - Centre back continues to dominate for us

Ben Walters 21K - Best return for goals so far with 12 in the league

James Rodon 21A - Continues to perform with 11 assists for the season

Oliver Cockings 21I - Best season yet and also running Walters close in the goal scoring charts with 11

Youth Candidates - Not a good year for candidates which lead me to find a new HOYD as the previous wanted double his wage and in all honesty didn't have the best attributes hoping my new guy can bring some more quality in! We have had a couple of players poached in the last few years with on going to Liverpool sop hopefully brings some cash in if he is sold on.

Jordan Pursey 26D - Right midfielder will need to be re trained to a winger

Lee Stanton 26B - Central Midfielder with good mental attributes

David Morris 26C - An aggressive young Centre Back

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 5 (2023-24)

Competitions - Squad - Transfers - Finances - Season Review - Season Awards - Overall Best 11

League - Consolidated our position in the top half and closed the gap on the chasing pack but TNS are just a different beast they went undefeated for the season drawing only 3 which one was against us :brock: . Still years and major investment away from getting near them finances are still hindering us from progressing although not terrible there isn't enough to invest in any of our facilities. Made worse is our training facilities got downgraded! We need to push for Europe and with wales coefficient going up we have an extra spot to aim for this season.

Cup - Had a very good run in both cups unfortunately we drew TNS in the Semi final of the MG Cup losing on pens and met them again in the Quarters of the Welsh cup losing 4-1 they are just so good!

u19s retained the title

James Rodon 21A - Returned to form this season with Player of the Year

Ben Walters 21K - Pushed Cameron Jones out of the team and has cemented his place as our main striker

Jonathan Grifiths-Holmes 21H - Still putting in stellar performances as our main centre back

Youth Candidates - My coaches are very excited about one of our players this season "Sib Khumalo" a South African Attacking midfielder so if he realises his potential i may need a formation change but will try train him as a centre mid advance play maker for now,

Sibongiseni Khumalo 25F - Potential to be one of the best Port Talbot youth player ever

Donald Buchanan 25G - Scottish centre back with great potential could breakthrough this season

Port Talbot Town FC - Season 4 (2023-24)

League - Made solid progress from last season making the top 6 championship however we are miles away from the top 4 teams even further away from TNS who just absolutely dominated the league every year! We finished the season 5th without better finances we cannot upgrade the facilities therefore we need to win a cup and hope for European money to push us along otherwise 5th place is probably our limit for the time being,

Cup- Struggled in the MG cup knocked out early on again. However we managed to get to the final of the Welsh Cup unfortunately we came up against TNS who were on for the treble! We gave a good account of ourselves but the quality was too much going down 1-0

Notable Player Performances

Jonathan Grifiths-Holme 21H - Player of the Year put in some solid performances at the back progressing very nicely

James Rodon 21A - Didn't reach the heights of last season but still one of our key performers

Barry Reed 21O - Good season from the right back progressing very well

Our u19s won the league!!!

Youth Candidates - "Golden Generation" again but the quality doesn't seem to be much better than what we currently have lots of interest in my current squad but the welsh league seems to be a nightmare for selling players as every offer seems to $0 over and over again. Need prize money to upgrade our facilities so we can attract interest from England to sell for cash otherwise its going to be a slow process with upgrading.

Ben Reynolds 24A - Good Right back that could take Barry Reed's spot over time

Leighton Davis 24J - Goalkeeper to try and push our current back ups

League - After a slow start where we dominated games but struggled to score we didnt have a win in the first 8 drawing 5 and losing 3 all 3 loses were 1-0. We changed out forwards player role and a trip to bottom of the league change our fortune with a 3-1 win we started to pick up some form finishing just outside the championship split. Finishing the season strong with only 1 loss in the playoffs we finished our first season 7th.

Cups - Disappointing in the MG cup knocked out in the second round on penalties. We made the quarter final of the Welsh Cup losing on Pens again!

Notable Player Performances

James Rodon 21A - Won Player Of The Year for the second year in a row. 7 Goals 14 Assists and an AvRat 7.19

Cameron Jones - Top goalscorer with 11 goals should have been so much more if he knew how to score one on ones

Jonathan Grifiths-Holme 21H - Developing very well and also pitches in with a few goals from set pieces AvRat 7.01

Youth Candidates - A Promising "Golden Generation" For the third year in a row i know have a new HOYD who is a model professional so hopefully i get some good personality's through instead of the usual unambitious/balanced
