    That's one take. I'd say we didn't do enough with our first half dominance, let them back in it, and foolishly gave away a pen. Zimmerman conceding it was quite disappointing. Mepham not being sent off was quite frustrating. He legitimately could've been off in the first half, then got away with two or three more late kicks. Pulisic is whiney, but his frustration was completely justified.

    He was one of the pleasant surprises in qualifying. More dangerous on the right, presumably him and Mckinnie flipped to proved better defensive cover for Dest.

    That was extremely comfortable. Would appreciate the scoreline being as comfortable. Aside from McKinne's silly yellow, the midfield was fantastic. Kinda expect that against all but the top sides. It's everywhere else that's a question. For as much of the ball we had, Sargent was largely invisible after that early header off the post. Wales complete inability to do anything with the ball was surprising.

    No Aaronson is a surprise. Not must win, but mustn't lose. Wales want to play on the counter and I expect us to play right into their hands. Not overly optimistic, hard to be with that backline, Adams and/or Turner are going to need a big game.

    I didn't expect him to walk into Bayern's XI, so did the move reflect his priorities or was he given bad advice? (A question you could ask of quite a few other young players)

    If you lineup like that, you have to be considered among the favorites. I'll believe Southgate will stay that aggressive when I see it though.

    He was in no man's land for the first, but don't think he was saving it regardless. Great ball, run, and header, with no one tracking. Second goal was shocking though. Looked a nothing shot that he made a complete mess of.

    Idk of Gomis or Dieng is second choice, but surely you gotta think about giving them a chance after that.

    Without Mane, this group is desperately lacking in the goalscorer department. Only caught bits and pieces of this one, but it wouldn't surprise me to have three 0-0s, with margins vs Qatar deciding who goes through.
