  1. Has anyone noticed a lot of tycoon takeovers in this game? I'm in 2042 and just scrolling through the Prem, I've got West Ham, Spurs, Aston Villa, Bournemouth, Brentford, Man City and Man U In the Championship, Barnsley, Birmingham, Preston, Southampton and Wrexham
  2. Well I'd been using a 4-2-1-1-2 formation that had managed to get a team with the 2nd lowest budget in the Premier League to finish 6th and 8th in my first two seasons. I've just changed to tactic this mid-way through the 3rd season where I was 4th but on a run of 1 win in 7 and hardly putting 3 passes together. Just won 7 league games in a row... P 7 W 7 D0 L0 GF 16 GA 2 6 clean sheets. Looking good so far!
  3. This reminds of the lad who came on here to talk about his save and he said that in his game Pep and Kev have an argument and they released him on a free so he was able to pick him up. The same happened with Klopp and Salah too
  4. Never. I risk only having 1 GK in my first team. If he gets injured I'm at the mercy of if I have a hard decent 18-20 year old knocking around in one of my youth teams. In the last 4-5 seasons I've starting doing this in my current save, my GK as only missed a few Club World Championship games and 1 4 week injury which luckily coincided with an International break and some 'easier' league games.
  5. On Fm21 I was trying to unsettle a 6'7" striker at PSG for about a two season with no success. Ended up just buying him for £304m... The most I sold for was £170m after I bought him for £2m min fee release clause!
  6. If the player is playing regularly for the team you've loaned out to the above is what you want to do and you should get the WP approved.
  7. According to Wiki, the stadium was originally called the San Siro New Football Stadium, then when it was renamed the Giuseppe Meazza, AC continued to call it the San Siro as Meazza had stronger connections to Inter. I imagine for the game, it makes it easier to differentiate for the home games and gives Inter blue seats and Milan red seats.
  8. Rather than play a tactic that counters/takes into account the opposition, I designed my tactic based on what positions I am good at scouting/finding and a tactic that will play the sort of football I like. I've built it up over 4 of so FMs until FM21 where I think I've found the sweet point. It started as a 4-4-2 favouring getting the ball in behind for the wingers to cross from the byline to two tall forwards. I found I could never sign good full backs, so went for a 3-1-4-2. It also meant I had an extra 'big' buy for set pieces. I then found a central midfielder who stats wise was amazing, and I got a better tune out of him than any CM I had before, but felt there was more to come from him, so pushed him forward in a 3-4-1-2. This was where my tactic took off and have now won 39 Premier Leagues in a row. The only things I have changed at all are the CM roles to both be BBM(S). The tactic relies on having physically big defenders with good passing attributes, fast wingers with good crossing and fast forwards as the AM can thread balls through or over the top while still having the threat from the wings.
  9. I normally give the less important cup competitions a chance to rest some key players and give some squad players a game. In my current save I went 11 years unbeaten in the Carabao cup!
  10. I’m currently in 2089 in an FM21 save and seem to be playing more than ever! Won the Prem 34 seasons running!
  11. You can’t get fully accurate scout reports and nor should you. They are technically a scouts opinion of a player, some will be wrong, different, think a player will be worse than what he gets, think a player will be better than he will be. If you want more accuracy, just use the editor to look at PA.
  12. Of which he is. only 3 months into. I don't know if it's in the game, but that would be a huge red flag as a club for me if someone who has just signed a new contract is trying to get a job elsewhere.
  13. It would count as a key pass no? Or do you mean another new statistic of 'pre-assist'? With regards to OP, I agree being fouled to win a penalty should count as an assist, as should having the shot that deflects off a defender for an own goal. I think getting a better rating for getting someone sent off can be subjective depending on the foul. A tricky dribble leading to a foul, second yellow, yes. Going up for a header and getting smashed by an elbow, no.
  14. The most common way I've seen one is if I have two goalkeepers in the first team and one is red injured or suspended (if that has ever happened!). On the day of your next game, a grey player would be 'created'.
  15. I don't have any grey players currently, but I am 99% sure I have done it on FM21
  16. Sell the one you can get more money for.
  17. There's normally a replay of the disallowed goals which includes the attacking/defending lines which will show you who is offside. My guess is that the other two attackers were in an offside position when the ball was played and they 'interfered' with play.
  18. My favourite record I have is that I am unbeaten in the Carabao Cup for just over 10 years now. Any game Ive ‘lost’ has been on penalties so counts as a draw.
