  1. End of 2022-23 season: Our horrific run of form continued into the next season and I though relegation was almost a certainty. But, we managed to get a few good results at the end and we stayed up via the Relegation Playoff. I know I said I wanted to fix the defence, however I am just happy to stay up for now. Anyhow we now have our top flight status secured for the new season and I am aiming to finish with at least 45 points.
  2. Thanks I hope so to. I was using a very attacking 4-2-4 Wide, with only the two central defenders on a defend duty and one supporting midfielder. Every one else was attacking even the goalie! It is no wonder my matches were a spectacle. Although it was this 5-5 all draw with Dungannon which put me off this high risk high reward approach for a while, We clawed back a four goal deficit to lead but conceded a minute later. Since then I have been experimenting with my approach with mixed success. I went on a 13 match winless streak in the league carrying over into the new season. But I think I have created a somewhat okay tactic. We currently sit on a four match winning streak hoping to get a positive result against Linfield.
  3. End of 2021-22 season: We managed to finish in the top half of the league this season and reached another cup final. Unfortunately we lost it this time round. We finished in 6th place on 56 points. Although on paper this was a good season, I am a bit disappointed. Yes we scored the most goals in the league but conceded the second most. At one point we were even in 3rd place but a shocking run of form at the end of the season made me glad the season was over. Next season I am aiming to avoid relegation again but fix the defence!
  4. Thanks. If we keep having results like this I think we will be okay. The Linfield goalkeeper had a man of the match performance with an 8.3 match rating despite his own goal.
  5. End of 2020-21 season: Despite us being expected to finish mid-table, we managed to win the league convincingly make it back-to-back promotions. The two lower league cup wins were a nice bonus as well. Next season I am hoping to stay up. Whether that be by winning the relegation play-off or avoiding relegation outright. I'll take either anything else is a bonus.
  6. When I was choosing which leagues to add I ticked the 'add players to playable teams' box. He must of been one of those players added. I will probably not have him for much longer as he is wanted by bigger teams.
  7. End of 2019-20 season: This season I was hoping to at least challenge for promotion, but we went one step further and got promoted by winning the league. We did fairly well in the cups as well beating a few top flight teams throughout each of the competitions. Next season I am aiming to comfortably avoid relegation.
  8. I think this defeat was a shock to the system. On the bright side this youth player look like he has a future at the club.
  9. Lisburn Distillery are a football team, in Northern Ireland, that currently play in the third tier. However, they were a founding member of the inaugural 1890 Irish League season where they continuously competed until there first relegation in 1995. In this save I will try to get Lisburn back into the top league in Northern Ireland and go from there. This season the board expect a top half finish. However, I think we can challenge for promotion to the second tier.
  10. 2028 youth intake: We had our best youth intake for some time with four half decent players who could be good squad player next season.
  11. Using the money we will get from the Europa League, I have decided to improve our youth set up. We also had our own club takeover.
  12. End of season 2027/28 Overall we had a great season we came 6th in the league, won the County Antrim Shield for the second time and we qualified for Europe via the playoff. In terms of transfers in we brought in a winger, left back, defender, midfielder and a forward. The winger and defender were the better performers this season. We did however lose 2 of our longest serving homegrown players to Warrenpoint.
  13. Yes they had a local business man take over them towards the end of last season. Under their previous owner they had a net transfer spend of about £600,000. I wonder how much they will spend this season under their new owner.
  14. 2027 Youth intake: This season we have a new youth goalkeeper and midfielder who will need to develop well to make it at this club.
