  1. Like you i'm one of the 2D match engine users and still remember signing a wonderkid Fernando Torres and a young Samual Eto'o from Mallorca then watching them (flash flash text only) smash 60 goals a piece on the good old days of CM.. I only ever do a Spurs save so will be interested to see how you get on, now you've come out of retirement. Let us know who you sign/let go as the seasons progress.
  2. Unfortunately Sessegnon isn't up to much on my save - have been watching him for a while. Miranda also looks some way off first choice.Raised extra funds as selling Trippier (£25m) and Lucas Moura (£50m).After much scouting decided to just spend big and got Lucas Hernandez (£65m), normally prefer to get a bargain but not that many top class options at Left back, also added Firpo to rotate. Getting Mukiele (£56m) at RB to replace Tripps. Have some youngsters to hopefully step in for Moura.
  3. Anyone found a good replacement for Rose and Davies. 4-5th season and selling both £25m and £35m in the upcoming Jan window, so have £50-60m for 2x LB’s. Note Tierney is at Arsenal so will never leave, Grimaldo is too expensive. FYI - Parrot is looking decent, probably do a job for a mid-table prem side, but I’ve got loads of young strikers and he’s some way behind Kane and Belotti in the pecking order..
  4. I'm just about to start my 3rd season now, like the above suggestion Ruben Dias (approx £45m) he has great stats and is young. Maybe check out Wallace from Lazio (no-nonsense big, tall, strong, aggressive but not a ball player) or Luiz Felipe also at Lazio, both would be well below your budget i'd estimate £15- 30m depends on how they are on your save. Eder Militao (Porto) can play RB or CB, was too expensive at the time for me (£40m ish) or another decent RB Alamany Traore (Monaco) would be cheaper and help fill out the squad. Not the best for mentoring as all pretty young so might not be exactly what you're after. I play 4- flat 3-2-1, wide, gegen-press and full-backs and wingers attacking..have done pretty well so far. Lloris, Davies/Rose, Sanchez/Wallace, Aldewei/Dias, Tripps/Toure Ndombele/Winks/Dier/Eriksen/Fernandes/Alli Son/Sancho/Kean Lucas/Bailey Kane/Belotti
