  1. Hi Everyone, I am glad to say with the help of @pikawa94 via e-mail I have now got my city pictures working Does anyone know if you can use stadium and player backgrounds with this skin? I am using the Dark Skin so not sure if this impacts my graphics not showing at all? Thanks Andrew
  2. @vonreichsm - Thank you for your reply. I have tried replacing the code and unfortunately mine is still not working Would you be able to send me the code you have so I can copy it into my club overview panel at all? Just to confirm you are using the EVO 2019 skin? Thank you Andrew
  3. Thanks for that vonreichsm, I have had a look it mentions to change some code between line 204 and 210 and replace it with the below: <widget class="background" file="backgrounds" id="bgnd" image_alignment="centre_x,centre_y" scale_picture="true" keep_aspect_ratio="true"> <record id="object_property"> <integer id="get_property" value="bgnd" /> <integer id="set_property" value="file" /> </record> </widget> I am having trouble finding it and when I tried to replace it I got an error message upon loading up the game. @pikawa94 - Are you able to help me please? Kind Regards Andrew
  4. Hi pikawa, I have installed your plus skin this evening and it looks great, however the city pictures I have in my graphics folder are not showing on the club information screen. Any ideas on what I need to do in order to get them displaying? Also what do I need to change in order to stop the blurred background when I go to close the game for example? Thanks Andrew
  5. Hi pikawa94, Just wanted to say thank you so much for your skin its great! I will be sending you a donation of 15 euros just to say thanks and so I can download your plus version If you can e-mail me the password as soon as you can that would be great. Thanks again Andrew
  6. Thanks @Welshace It won't be used for high end gaming as I tend to do most of my gaming on my Playstation 4 and I only game I play on the PC is Football Manager. I have a maximum budget of £1,000, so if you have any recommendations for this budget that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  7. Hi Everyone, Looking for a laptop as previously had a desktop but as now moved into smaller flat we have less room than before so big tower is out of the question. @Welshace / @Smurf I do like the look of the Dell Inspiron 5000 you posted above, do you think it would be able to handle around 6/7 leagues with a medium database for example? How long would you think this machine would last playing FM before it needs to be changed? Is there anything else that's better value for money than this at the moment? I would of liked a 17" screen but it seems for an extra 2" it adds a lot more to the price of gaming laptops. I assume if you want 8th Generation then this will be over £1k at least? Is there any manufacturs even offering the 8750H CPU yet? Both of your thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
  8. Hi Smurf, Just wanted your opinion on the below laptop: http://store.hp.com/UKStore/Merch/Product.aspx?id=ECC_BUNDLE_6606706&opt=&sel=NTB Do you think this would be worth the price HP are charging? Thanks
  9. Hi Smurf Well I have about £1200 to spend but includes monitor as well. I was looking at a 1050Ti 4GB or 1060 3GB. Did look at some of the AMD cards is it better to go for Nvidia cards do you think? Thanks Andrew
  10. Thanks Smurf I was looking at going for a desktop, and I have been looking at a customer build site called PC Specialist. What graphics card do you think would be best to go with? Thanks
  11. Hi All, Currently looking at getting a new PC/Laptop however got a bit of a dilemma as not sure what to get out of a Mac or PC. I am currently in the Apple eco system as currently have an iPhone and iPad so that was swaying me to get a Macbook Pro or iMac. I have a budget of around a £1,000 and am aware that you can get something better spec on Windows for the money. I am just looking for some advice on what you think I would be best of getting? Any help would be greatly appreciated Many thanks Andrew
  12. Thanks for your reply mate It doesn't need to be portable as I will be looking a desktop replacement Not restricted to John Lewis, although I do have some Curry's and Amazon vouchers so either of them retailers would be ideal. Budget is around £700 but can go a bit higher if the spec is good.
  13. Hi All, Currently looking for a laptop or desktop (laptop ideally as I am short on space in my flat) and just wondered what peoples thoughts were on the below: https://www.johnlewis.com/dell-inspiron-15-5000-series-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-ram-256gb-ssd-amd-radeon-r7-15-6-/p3124483 Would you say its a good price for the spec and do you think it would run FM's for the next few years? Also do you think the graphics card could handle the 3D engine on the highest settings? Cheers Andrew
  14. In regards to laptops that have come out with the 7th Gen processors and 1050/1050Ti graphics, how long do you think these graphics card would last until they were unable run the 3D engine in future FM's? Do you think any laptop with either of these GPU's in would last a minimum of 3 years? Cheers LG
  15. Hi All, Just wanted to give everyone a heads up that PC Specialist are now offering 7th Gen Kaby Lake processors in both their desktops and laptops. Hope this helps some people who have been waiting for the new processors to come out. Cheers Andrew
  16. hi mate, Well I took the delivery yesterday and I have set it all up and I have been playing FM for pretty much the whole day today and it runs like a dream. Only have 6 leagues loaded and medium database but handles everything I can throw at it presently. 3D works great and I can play on high detail without any problems. If you have any other questions just ask
  17. So finally ordered my laptop tonight which is coming Saturday. I ordered the below from Save On Laptops: http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7-179553-626-MSI-GP72-6QF(Leopard-Pro)-626UK_1984222.html Anyone bought from this company before? I have read a few reviews on Trust Pilot whilst the majority are good, there are quite a few people who have complained about them, especially their after sales service when there has been problems. I ordered from here as its by far the cheapest price I have seen for a 17" laptop with the specs its got and you get an upgrade to 16GB of RAM.

  22. Hi Welshace, Sorry to trouble you again I just wanted your opinion, I can get the below through my work place for £799 as employees get 10% off HP products, would you say this is the best laptop to get for the price I would be paying? Or would you say the MSI I posted a few pages ago would be a better bet? Thanks for your help in advance Cheers Andrew
