My new save is in the second tier of Wales, and I have an issue with players being poached. My team is semi-professional and I’ve only been given the option to sign players to non-contacts, which leaves them vulnerable to poaching. I accept that. But my starting striker was just signed away by an amateur club in the tier below us! And they only promised him to be a squad player (he was a regular starter for us, and making money instead of amateur). This is not realistic. It happened one other time too. One of our squad players was poached to become an amateur squad player in the tier below us. In general, poaching is less of an issue in FM24 than it used to be (it used to be ridiculous) but clearly there are still issues with unrealistic transfers.

Recently a new bug has occurred during some matches. I attempt to make a substitution, but instead of putting in the fresh player, the tired player remains in the match and a duplicate of the tired player replaces the intended substitute on the bench. In the most recent occurrence, I attempted to substitute for a slightly injured player and a tired player at the same time. The bug happened and both remained in the match while duplicates replaced players on the bench. Then another player tired and my assistant manager suggested bringing on one of the bench players who had already been replaced by the injured duplicate. This bug only happens sometimes, not with every substitution. It has only been a recent problem, so maybe the bug was introduced in an update? I’m playing Touch on Switch. Salford in League 2, first season of the save.

I promised a young player I’d send him out on loan, and offered him out for loan via Transferroom. We got 3 offers but all only were for “fringe” playing time so I rejected the offers. The player wailed that I didn’t let him go on loan, and he made his anger public. So I offered him out again and this time one offer was for “important player” playing time. I accepted it and the player went out on loan before the season started. The player is still officially unhappy that he wasn’t sent out on loan, even though he is out on loan.

FM24 Touch on Switch. Twice the game has crashed during matches. I’m only about 75% of the way through my first season, so the crash/match ratio is unacceptably high.
