This exact thing happened to me in the 85th minute of the last game of the season and stopped me getting promoted -
nothing to do with tactics, its an entire shift in everything that players do, they look like they are suddenly playing wearing concrete boots and have never met each other let alone practiced in a team with each other before

Yeah, the difference is insane. The away team doesn't even look like they are trying, they get the ball and just stand there with it until they lose it, nobody makes any movement. "Pressing" is just walking vaguely near the guy on the ball then letting them do whatever they want with it. It's at the point where I'm way more confident about a home game against city than an away game against fulham
