You said it perfectly! I think we could even say whole game is a too much rewards and less risks. (Mistakes) Even in twitter SI is constantly asking how many goals have you scored or how many championships you got? Like I've said before AI Vs AI world is the core of this game and the intelligence of AI is the measure how much skills can be demanded from the manager (player). Meaning gegenpress is too rewarding for anyone because SI could easily make it harder to obtain and human would adapt to it in time, but unfortunately AI would be too stupid and they would continue making same mistakes and collapse via not trying.

Maybe I'm too old school and hands on manager but I still find odd that there's 4 days left Premier league winter Transfer window in my simulation and it doesn't show any increase in AI teams Transfer statuses. Do they work via some other staff member like Director of football or Recruitment analyst? Or do they just hoard massive amounts of players?

Worried player. Have you seen AI transfer listing its players? I have simulated 6 months and I don't see any transferlists in any team? I will continue simulating but still somewhat worrying that full U21 and first teams there's 95% not transferlisted.

Even though SI is saying it's save compatible I would and will not start a save just because of course AI substitutions, AI transfers, AI team management and interactions bugs will weaken AI teams considerably if played a lot forward.

Finally they said some kind of release date for the patch.. Now I can concentrate to Baldurs gate 3.

It's not right to discredit people for playing the game but at the same time if you find it laughable to not play the game while there are bugs it's same amount laughable to laugh people who play the game while there's bugs. I got a friend who plays this version knowing all the bugs. It baffles me how he does it but still he's my friend.

I think these situations are better analysed in .gif files because this years Fm is a lot mole fluid in movement wise meaning one picture is even more miss leading than before. Of course this is also a wrong thread to do it perhaps?

Since his take over the game has gone backwards at a rate of knots, where has the fun gone? Every year promised features, which we had years ago and are worse/broken. SI gone back into silent mode, yet again!! I'm glad I refunded for the first time tbh

Same here, a long time player here too. Unfortunately it looks like FM has grown too big and complicated for the old time frame to get things fixed or ready. I think this because I really want to believe SI professionalism! That doesn't take away the disappointment but gives hope.

Yeah. This year I'm more worried about AI using substitutions, tactics and transfers. At the moment I just can't play the game thinking AI messes around its team..

I just have to rise some balancing comment. A year or some ago we cried here in forum why SI always leave ME so incomplete and now when ME is in quite good place we cry how everything else is leaking.. so I really do appreciate and I can see the effort from SI. Other thing is shots in FM24. Well we have cried how AI is so passive and now when they are trying to tune it to other direction there a bit shooting contest going on. I think this year SI really have done something different and have taken more fresh route. So hats off because of that! Too bad there's always so little time for a simple SI workers to get things right (perfect;). @Jack Joyce

the distances between cd's and Dm's are not looking so bad when looked in motion but what I meant was about 5-10 seconds before this dribble. Actually it looks surprisingly realistic 1 on 1 when player with the ball have had space to collect speed.

All but our striker (who's not even engaging) is in our own half. The 3 players on the far side for Sassuolo had another moment of just knocking it about amongst each other while we sat in a deeper block. Our wingers are nowhere near their full backs but in a high press, we could be looking to close of those passes to the full back.
It would be nice to see how this situation developed. I'm guessing its the all too familiar players get "stuck" marking attacking team players a second or two too long. Anyway If I would see my team defend like this I would get a heartattack. Just still wondering how this situation developed into this.

The WCBs and SVs track wide to challenge. In previous entries you'd get destroyed on the wings as nobody would step out wide to close or tackle. Its bringing me actual joy to watch it work so wonderfully well. Kudos on that front guys.

Why don´t SI just give us a date of the next patch instead of saying ´near future target date¨... who even says that? I would love to say that to my boss when im off sick and hes asking when im back...
I would at least like to know is the bigger patch planned to come in December or earlier..
Bigger patch meaning full version patch what we usually got after beta..

This is the most demotivating thing in FM of all times. The marging for error in tactics is just not critical enough. You can get away playing completely over attacking or over pressing with mediocre players in wrong moments inside of the match. In my opinion why we're in this situation is mainly because AI Vs AI world is not sophisticated enough to maintain complexity inside matches while producing realistic numbers stats wise. Then there is these things called player attributes and how much individual player can produce with mediocre attributes in certain intensity tactics without mistakes. Yeah.. that's a complex ball. That's why I'm so frustrated that AI still can't even organise his team well or use substitutions!! Oh well one step at a time. Yesterday I watched AI Vs AI game Manchester City Vs Liverpool 0-0. It was very entertaining match with nice blocks and effort so I do think this year's version got a lot potential!
