FYI, don't get your hopes up that the release version contains any changes or bug fixes compared to the current beta version. This has happened before where there were major issues in the match engine, and people found out the match engine version remained the same at full release. This was last year:

I think people have already provided quite a few pkm examples in the bug report section. I've done some myself with regards to not utilizing the subs enough. I think most of us are just suprised and worried that a headline feature, a fix of something that has been an issue in the FM-series for years and reported every year, is pretty much non-existent. I've seen nearly no team play their hot prospects in any game or for a meaningful amount of time in the past full season, so I'd be surprised if you were reliant on my save game while it's probably happening for everyone else as well including your test team. I'd be happy to be surprised of anyone providing even one example of a top team developing a non-regen young talent (not yet established at the start of the game) in an effective way by giving it playtime and loans and be slotted in the first team before the age of 23 a few seasons in.

These are the situations that bother me the most: At which point is PSV going to sub in its best prospects for gametime if it's not happening when they are 4-0 ahead in the 60th minute vs. 10 men?

Don't agree. The AI should be able to consider using hot prospects for easier home games, sub them in when ahead or change things up whenever they are down (like real life managers would do). This does not happen enough, so all the amazing prospects do not get enough game time which hamper their development, which has an effect on the overall future landscape of players, international team selection, etc. Clubs buy up hot prospects and refuse to use them, which is game breaking for me personally, as I enjoy dynamic game worlds. Where is the new regen/wonderkid Messi, Mbappe or Haaland who already has 100 games under his belt at a top team/competition and is 180 CA by the age of 20? This will never happen now, because these players don't get their chance to play. Clubs are allowed to use 5 subs in most competitions, but often only use 1 or 2, even when they are ahead with 5-0 at half time or down 2-0 in the 60th minute. Fatigued players are kept on the pitch even though decent alternatives are held on the bench. I couldn't care less now if competing teams buy up hot prospects, as they will not use them anyway while I should be afraid of them developing a monster team with these additions. It would create a far more challenging and fun game in the long term if they would actually use them.

This is something I've noticed as well. Playing in the Eredivisie, AI teams often only make like 1-3 subs from the possible 5 each match. This also happens when the team is down a goal, where they simply do not try to change anyhing and continue with the starting 11. They also don't really give time to promising or rotational players whenever they are comfortably ahead either
