  1. Not Hleb? The potential mix of ground through balls from Hleb and Fabregas mixed with Beckhams ariel threat could be quite deadly.
  2. <BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content"> Cesc move a no-go - Agent Cesc Fabregas has not been in contact with Real Madrid about a possible move to the Primera Liga giants, the Arsenal midfielder's agent has revealed. The 18-year-old, whose superb form this season has seen him being called up to the Spain squad, has been linked with a summer switch to the Bernabeu. Recent comments by new Madrid president Fernando Martin, which saw him sing the praises of Fabregas, have only increased rumours of an impending transfer to the Spanish club. However, Fabregas' agent Joseba Diaz has ruled out that possibility. "Madrid are not interested in Fabregas," Diaz said. "I have read the comments reportedly made by the Madrid president but as far as I am aware, there is no interest." Diaz revealed he spoke briefly to Martin at last Wednesday's Champions League clash between Arsenal and Madrid at Highbury but he insists Fabregas' name was never mentioned. "I met Martin for the first time at Highbury and we talked but we never spoke about Cesc," he added. Fabregas has had an impressive campaign with the Gunners, and he played the full 90 minutes for Spain in their 3-2 over Ivory Coast at the start of the month. Diaz admitted Fabregas, who has a contract at Highbury until June 2011, is happy in London. "He has five years left on his contract," he said. "The player is very grateful to Arsenal and especially to (manager) Arsene Wenger. "In order for Cesc to depart from Arsenal in the future, there would have to be a very tempting offer on the table not only for the player but for the club." </div></BLOCKQUOTE> I suppose thats about what you'd expect from an agent, all avenue's open?!
  3. 1: When Did you become an arsenal fan, How long have you been a fan I can't pinpoint it to be honest, it's just always felt like a given. It was all due to... 2: Why did you become an arsenal fan ...Ian Wright though, the man responsible for getting me into football, same with my brother. 3: Did you grow up locally/In London South London, Orpington unfortunately. All the guys in my school supported United. The *****. Do you still live in london At Southampton University at the moment, but "home" is still South London. Favourite arsenal moment So many goals to choose from. Tony Adams, Everton. Nigel Winterburn/Silvinho, Chelsea. Ray Parlour, Valencia/Chelsea. I think perhaps Overmars and Wiltords goals against United will particularly be remembered. For some reason, Seaman's save against Sheffield United has always felt quite prominant.
  4. Kanuuuu Couldn't find "It's only Ray Parlour" though...
  5. Yeah but Anfield 89 id leave Uni for. Wigan 06 is a different matter. Ha, my last match was Rotherham in the league cup like 2 or 3 seasons ago. Penalty win
  6. F*ck, I'd love to get tickets for me and a flatmate but considering I have an exam the next day, I don't particularly wanna miss getting the train back to southampton!
  7. Yeah, I think that can be can be rubbished and put to the back of our minds really. Though suprised to see the stats of his from arsenal.com Total Passes: 67 Completed Passes: 36 Incomplete Passes: 31 Thought he might have been more efficient then that? Still, 18
  8. Ha, i muted it Don't want to develop a reputation from my flatmates!
  9. A few clips of Adebayor, don't think it's been posted. Nothing spectacular there, but looks to have good balance and positioning, and the eye for goal helps!

'We have signed three players this week,' he muttered, before quickly correcting himself and claiming it was only two, with the deal to sign Southampton wonder-kid Theo Walcott almost complete. 'I should correct that to two-and-a-half players,' he said, trying to drown out the belly laughs around the press room. 'Maybe you can expect another signing next week. You never know.' </div></BLOCKQUOTE> \0/
