  1. If this occurs then please send me the pkm (after a match you can save down the pkm using the downward arrow icon) - this is called 'divergence' and is a real pain to track down as its incredibly rare on most machines. (I believe its caused by something within the match engine not being 'cleared' down fully - but it only occurs very rarely and most commonly on machines which haven't been rebooted for a while so have a lot of 'dirty memory' ...)
  2. Fantastic story so far - have you finally won the fans and team over with your performances?
  3. They've got three points! (thanks for sending the save, definitely something to look into)
  4. Cool - thanks for the confirmation, I was guessing it'd be something like that - I'll get it looked into.
  5. Any chance of getting a look at your save? (I'm guessing its down to a nuance of the competitions involved - this isn't one I'm familiar with though, probably group splits and only being displayed on one of the pages? - ie. the sort of thing which the Scottish leagues have a habit of doing).

  8. As I tried to explain - the game is simplified somewhat to try and make it easier to understand, the options you want are really available via. the roles (unless you can explain why they're not). If you go to the options pop-down on the club page one of them should be 'load tactic' which will allow you to load the saved tactic from disk. (you can also save squad selections if you want - I generally do this so I have a 'League' and 'Cup' selection saved to speed up switching things around when the lesser cups come around).
  9. At present FMM has the following options for full-back positions: Defensive Full-back - Old Fashioned Full back, concentrates on defense Full-back - Modern full-back, will be mainly defensive but also does over-lapping runs down the wing to support attacks Wing-back - Attempts to fulfil both attacking and defensive duties as much as possible. Invested Wing-back - Like a wing-back but drifts inside rather than down the wing. When you change roles there is the option to display an explanation of the roles available if your device's screen is large enough to display it. I think this is clearer and potentially less confusing to users than overlaying 'attack/defense/support' choices over the top of already clearly defined roles (just a personal preference from a design perspective - I want to keep FMM as simple and easy to understand as possible, while retaining depth). If you feel something is missing then please explain what you're after and how you want the player to play and I'll have a think about it (but a defensive full-back with an attacking mentality doesn't make sense to me, in a similar manner a defensive wing-back is basically a 'full-back' etc.)
  10. There aren't specific attack/support duties simply because imho these are already represented by the roles you set for a players position - the concept of a 'poacher' who is playing 'support' doesn't really make sense, similarly having an attacking full-back, if you want a DC who plays a more supporting role then set him as a ball-playing defender etc. (sorry but some things are different than the PC game, this doesn't make it better/worse - just different and where possible I've streamlined a few things to simplify the setup and UI) There is no 'exit' from the game simply because that isn't standard on mobile devices (and indeed when I tried to put one in the first version of the game Apple failed the submission because of it) ... just minimise the app and it'll either sit quietly in the background (if your device has lots of memory) or close itself when required. It'll do an 'autosave' if it needs to close down, but you can do manual saves (if you're worried about losing battery life suddenly for instance) from within the main menu area.
  11. These should (hopefully) help - iOS https://support.sega.com/hc/en-gb/articles/4409272443409-How-do-I-access-my-Save-files-#text Android https://support.sega.com/hc/en-gb/articles/4409274314129-How-do-I-access-my-Save-files-#text
  12. If you send me the save game then I'll look into this asap.
  13. You should fine an option to turn off the images in the last update (its in preferences). Incidentally the images are from the FM desktop game generator ... weirdly enough ...
  14. Normally playing a compact style and counter attacking, in the lower leagues I go for the little and large approach with one tall and one very fast striker ... When you're playing a big club every now and again if you're setup solidly and on good form you might get a lucky break, mine normally come when an opposing teams attack breaks down and a long ball is chased ... nothing fancy (quite often it comes from an opposition set-piece, always try and make sure your fastest player is held back, just in case) PS - Others might have a more reliable approach in all honesty, I'm well aware that despite my knowledge of its workings I'm far from the best at my games
  15. I've beaten a few Premiership sides while non-league with Eastbourne Borough and you can get a nice little windfall from doing so, as well as a nice bit of news to make you smile
  16. Yeah I get that, definitely worth me checking into as there are always things we can improve
  17. I'll do some testing here and look into this, but I doubt your standard of player are helping particularly tbh (Decisions 10 and 11 combined with teamwork of 13 and 10 mean that they aren't going to be hugely in sync).
  18. Would you mind posting a profile image of your No 9. and No 10. players please ...
  19. I've added this to my ever growing list of things to look into ..
  20. There are generally a fair few discussions about the game - however the further from release that the game gets, the quieter things become normally (which is fairly normal really). If you have any questions about the game then feel free to post them and a fair few of the Sports Interactive crew are kicking around and we'll try and answer them
  21. Would you mind posting your tactics and roles please? (screenshots if possible)
  22. The height isn't directly visible in Football Manager Mobile - this is for two reasons: (1) Giving people both 'jumping' and 'height' is confusing in my opinion - I'm 6'5'' tall and have jumping of 5, someone else is 6'1'' and has jumping of 10 ... who jumps highest? ... without knowledge of the game code there is frankly no way of knowing - to avoid this confusion we just show 'aerial ability' which combines all the relevant areas into one item which makes for easy comparison. (2) Mobile devices often have limited space on them so reducing the amount of attributes shown in the way allows us to retain the game depth without making the pages cluttered and hard to read (in a similar way in case you didn't know - Teamwork is workrate and teamwork combined, Shooting is long-shots and finishing, pace is acceleration and pace). Some clues to this sort of thing are given through coach/scout reports and suchlike now and again (ie. if someone is mentioned as having good long-shots then it means that aspect of his 'shooting' is far higher than finishing etc.).
  23. One of the things with lower league management is that you'll get less 'player and media interaction' generally which is logical when you think about it (because at that level there is less media pressure and players are less likely to be outspoken) ... the higher up the leagues you go the more likely such things are to crop up. This is somewhat intentional as is the speed of play, ie. I don't want to gum the game down with minutiae and make it play as slowly as the PC game, the concept is that if you have 10-15 minutes spare then you can dip into the game and feel that you made progress in it.
