  1. This looks phantastic. Gonna try it when i get home from work.
  2. Are there any mods to download that replace the default background pictures for press conferences, training, board room etc.? i tried to do it myself but failed and I wont start again.
  3. I´d add Diaby and Frimpong to the outstanding players besides Wirtz. Surprising that Hradecky performs so badly for you, I always saw him as a a decent keeper...
  4. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL AGAINST THE BIG BOYS The big boys came around and trashed us. At least we could compensate our fans with a win against Wolfsburg after those 2 defeats. VfB Stuttgart vs FC Bayern Munchen Bayern just are a class act and play in a league of their own. The truth hurts. Eintracht Frankfurt vs VfB Stuttgart They were the better team, we have to admit that. Super sub Popovic scored again. VfB Stuttgart vs VfL Wolfsburg Tomas scored again and it was a well deserved win for us. We kept the pressure up the whole game which was nice to see. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE Who was talking about Europe again? THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19 YOUTH INTAKE A very good intake for a start. Musa, Boateng and Schipplock look like potentially great players. NXGN 2023 Sadly, there is not one player from us in the top 50.
  5. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL ENJOYING THE GOOD TIMES 4 games with 3 wins and one draw. We have the confidence right now. VfB Stuttgart vs Werder Bremen Not our best game. The positive: Youngster Popovic scored again. SC Freiburg vs VfB Stuttgart We beat our rivals on their home soil! Genki was up to the challenge. VfB Stuttgart vs 1.FC Koln Tomas scored again and it was he who made the difference in a tight match. Schalke 04 vs VfB Stuttgart Unlucky for Schalke. They had the chances, we made the goals. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE We lie in 5th. Might even Europe be possible? We don´t dream. THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19
  6. You are defying the odds in the league at the moment! Keep it up and you will finish in a secure midtable position, giving you time to grow and attack promotion next season maybe
  7. Yesss! Congratulations to the cup win! And to defeating the RB scum. Another Nice result after yesterdays City win
  8. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL THE SEASON FINALLY CONTINUES We make a decent return to domestic football with some credible results in league and cup. TRANSFERS We sold backup keeper Bredlow to Berlin, now Ubertalent Seimen will take his place in the squad. Nartey & Egloff needed match practice and were complaining so we loaned them out. We bring in striker talent Popovic from Partizan, in the hope to make this move permanent when the season is over, because we could not buy him right now as we don´t have enough funds. Popovic is a highly talented young attacker with already very mature physical attributes. He needs game time to grow for sure and we will provide that. VfB Stuttgart vs FSV Mainz 05 A great win in the first match after the winter break. New signing Popovic scoring 2 goals on his debut! TSG Hoffenheim vs VfB Stuttgart And then we lost to our rivals! A stoppage time goal decided this match. RB Leipzig vs VfB Stuttgart Nice. We took a point home from Leipzig. This came unexpected. Borussia Monchengladbach vs VfB Stuttgart Genki saves the day. But we were the better team anyway. On to the quarter finals where we will play away at 2nd division team Greuther Furth. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE Comfortable in 6th position. THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19 CLUB NEWS The upcoming Youth Intake looks to be a great one. We signed a new Director Of Football in Rouven Schroder. He is way better than our old one who wanted to sell our best talents... With Leverkusen in 13th position, there was not much the board could do I guess. Adios, Amigo!
  9. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL WORLD CUP 2022 IN QATAR Brazil beat England in a boring final. Congratulation to the 6th title! Luke Shaw really had a convincing campaign. Favorites Spain and Argentina failed already in the group stage. Dark Horse USA made the semis.
  10. It kinda works but we also concede many. I already tweaked it down a bit to counter that effect Thank you! Yes, I was surprised myself but we take them
  11. Loving the new visual recap style! You cannot not hate RB - same in Salzburg as in Leipzig ...
  12. Nice to have you on board, @SixPointer Thank you! Its gonna take some time for that I guess...
  13. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL BEFORE THE WORLD CUP BREAK Our first draw and two wins against tough opposition. Borussia Monchengladbach vs VfB Stuttgart A boring draw. Both teams should be happy with this. VfB Stuttgart vs Hertha BSC What a game! The fans surely appreciated the suspense. And then we won it in the 97th minute. Hollywood couldnt write a better script. Bayer Leverkusen vs VfB Stuttgart A big win for us! We turned up the intensity in the second half and scored 2 goals to win against a CL candidate. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE Among the top teams. I wonder how long we can last up there. THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19 OUR PLAYERS AT THE WORLD CUP We got 3 players in the Japan squad and one player in the Croatia squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar. Good luck to them!
  14. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL MIXED RESULTS Wins at home, defeats when playing away. Thats football, I guess. VfL Wolfsburg vs VfB Stuttgart A game we deserved to lose. They were the better team over 90 minutes and we were lucky to even score 2 goals here. VfB Stuttgart vs Union Berlin Poor bottom Union! A Tomas hattrick in 9 minutes had the game already decided early on. The only downside was Silas´ injury which will keep him out for the next matches. VfB Stuttgart vs VfL Bochum A comfortable win against another regelation candidate. Bochum offered nothing and we just played our game and won. VfB Stuttgart vs Hannover 96 The result does not do Hannover justice. They were better than that and gave us a good fight but then again, it´s the efficiency that counts and in that game it finally was Guirassy´s time to shine. We will face Borussia Monchengladbach away in the 3rd round of the DFB Pokal next. Borussia Dortmund vs VfB Stuttgart We were close, really close. But our lead only held until the 67th minute and then Wolf scored in the dying minutes. I guess thats the difference between a CL team and us. VfB Stuttgart vs FC Augsburg A must win for us. We were in control for the whole game. The result seems to flatter Augsburg. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE We sit in 5th position. Our aim this season is to avoid relegation. This looks good so far. THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19
  15. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL LOSING IT Narrow losses against the top teams of the league and one win against a minnow. VfB Stuttgart vs Schalke 04 Tomas continues to score vital goals. So does Haraguchi. And Endo. A nice win against harmless opponents. Bayern Munich vs VfB Stuttgart It was never going to be easy and in the end our performance was respectable. Tomas scored again and we can hold our heads up high after this defeat. VfB Stuttgart vs Eintracht Frankfurt A late goal decided the match. Both teams were equal but luck was not on our side this time. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE The usual suspects up there. We are falling down the table. Need to pick ourselves up again in the next games. THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19
  16. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL THE FIRST LEAGUE MATCHES 3 wins in the first 4 matches. This is how you start a season. VfB Stuttgart vs RB Leipzig And what a start to the campaign it was! Eight goals but in the end we are on the losing side. RB Leipzig use our tactics and outscore us. We still have a lot to learn. Werder Bremen vs VfB Stuttgart We didn´t deserve to win. But in the end the result is what matters. Werder Bremen was all over us for the first 30 minutes, then we somehow managed to score from two quick counters and defended that result for the rest of the game. This came as a surprise. I didn´t think Anton and Fuhrich were already good enough to represent their country. Then again, it´s Germany and Flick. VfB Stuttgart vs SC Freiburg Our rivals came as league leader with 6 points after 2 games. However, they also left with 6 points as we trashed them 3-1 in a convincing win for us. 1. FC Koln vs VfB Stuttgart Koln tried to shock a with an early goals but we responded immediately. We took the lead before half time and decided the game 20 minutes from time. THE BUNDESLIGA TABLE Ahead of Bayern! 3rd place but it is still early in the season. But this has been a promising start for us nevertheless. THE YOUTH TEAMS VfB Stuttgart II VfB Stuttgart U19
  17. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL THE MATCH AGAINST 1860 MUNICH IN THE DFB POKAL 1860 Munich vs VfB Stuttgart We did it. But it was very hard. We started very nervously, the Bavarians played the game of their lives in the beginning and went into the lead after 23 minutes with a quick counter attack, scored by their striker Skenderovic (I already to notes about him for my shortlist). Luckily we were able to equalize right after kick-off with a nice goal by Haraguchi. This made us relax a bit more and shortly before the break their right back Willsch was sent off after a harsh tackle on Sosa which swung the pendulum even more into our direction. But it took until the 61st minute for Tomas to score the decisive goal for us. Hopefully the start into the Bundesliga with our game at home against RB Leipzig will be as successful. Our next opponent in the DFB Pokal will be 2nd division team Hannover 96 which we will face at home.
  18. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL THE SQUAD ANALYSIS Goalkeepers It should be obvious who will play as our number one: Florian Müller. Fabian Bredlow seems a good enough backup and Florian Schock is our B team keeper. Uber-Talent Dennis Seimen will still take some more years to prosper until he can challenge for a first team place. Defenders We got 3 very good central defenders in Konstantinos Mavropanos, Dan-Axel Zagadou and Waldemar Anton. Luckily Anton can also play in defensive midfield, so he will be used there more often. Borna Sosa rules our left wing as he is the man who provides our strikers with crosses. Hiroki Ito could also play on the left, but he is more a central defender. On the right it is a battle between Pascal Stenzel and Josha Vagnoman. I see Wataru Endo, Atakan Karazor, Nikolas Nartey and Gil Diaz as midfield players so it makes no sense they appear in this list of defenders. Midfielders The head should rather read "Wingers" but ok. Silas is our man on the right side while Genki Haraguchi should play on the left with Tanguy Coulibaly being on his heels. Juan Perea is the backup for Silas on the right. Chris Fuhrich is a good central midfielder while Enzo Millot is a big talent but still needs some game time to develop more. Attackers Good competition for the 2 striker positions. The 2 loanees Tomas and Guirassy will have to fight for their right to stay at the club. Pfeiffer can be more relaxed. THE BUNDESLIGA WAGES IN COMPARISON We are way behind. This speaks volumes. THE PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES We made it 3 wins in 3 games. FC Wil vs VfB Stuttgart A nice and comfortable win against the Swiss club. The first goals surely helped to open up their tight defense. The second goal right after the break then broke them. After the third goal we decided to take it more easily and that was when they had most of their attacks, resulting in their consolation goal. FC Wangen 05 vs VfB Stuttgart This was tough. The local club from the 6th tier really made it hard for us and scored 3 goals. We surely played the 2nd team but conceding that many goals against a lower club should not happen at all. This is something we need to talk about. VfL Kirchheim/Teck vs VfB Stuttgart Now we´re talking. Interesting what a difference a harsh post-game team talk makes. This time we made clear we don´t concede any goal against the amateur club. This makes us look forward to the new season. The next game will be the first round of the DFB-Pokal against 3rd tier club 1860 Munich.
  19. FEARLESS AND FAITHFUL THE CLUB The Swabian club has some history. Having won the Bundesliga 5 times, they rank 4th in the all-time Bundesliga table, ahead of big names like Borussia Mönchengladbach, Hamburger SV or Schalke 04. This should already tell you something about this club. Their rivals Karlsruher SC currently play in the 2. Bundesliga but this can change quickly. Former players include big names like World Cup winner Jürgen Klinsmann, Karlheinz Förster, Hansi Müller, Mario Gomez and Timo Werner. Last season though, the club only narrowly avoided relegation and finished 15th. South African Manager Joe Baxter is now here to bring back the good times again. The club plays in this stadium. A good place to celebrate beautiful football. THE SQUAD OVERVIEW This looks like a competent squad. Quite young though, but the talent definitely is there. Match Practice/Game Time is the key to improve and build on this talent. THE TACTICS Our main tactic. A very attacking approach. The counter tactic against superior opposition. THE KEY PLAYERS Wataru Endo Our captain, leading from central midfield. Silas Skillful winger on both sides who can also play as a striker. Borna Sosa Croatian Crossing Machine on our left side. THE PROMISING YOUNGSTERS We got a 2nd team-VfB Stuttgart II, and a U19 team. The 2nd team plays in the Regionalliga Südwest. I found 3 exciting players in our U19 team. Laurin Ulrich A technically gifted winger, who can also be a playmaker. Dennis Seimen Our future Number One. Samuele di Benedetto Promising central midfielder with Flair.
  20. I always checked for patches already back then and so did all of my mates. And all the FM people I knew online too.
