I signed Rakitić & Lewandowski on freebies and they've both been superb even at 33/34. I've always loved signing golden oldies.
I also just signed Agüero but I think that may have been a step too far, he's rubbish now.

I hate this response. Especially from someone like Héctor. I'm 4 seasons in & I'm in his favoured personnel so will be alright but just a bit annoying.

With 350mil Budget and 300k Wages My targets are J. Gomez, Alexander-Arnold, Paqueta, Sancho, Woodburn and Kane, but unlikely to get those, will definitely need to strengthen GK, AMR and ST positions though i think if certain players go.

He was handy for the first two seasons but felt like he was always moaning about something so I sold him to Stoke - still in the Championship - for about £28M. Stats wise he didn't seem to progress that much but he was solid.

Hi @Yoeri I signed Kimpembe for £56M in my second season - that seems high but he has been outstanding. Currently midway through my fourth season & he is immense & my vice captain.

First season I played majority version 1 - won the League, Europa & FA Cup.
Second season I played something entirely different - finished 5th & won the FA Cup (& Super Cup & Community Shield, but don't count them really) and was lucky not to finish lower tbh.
Third season having a great time with version 3.

Top work @FuSS on version 3, it's working superbly for my Arsenal side. After finishing 5th in my second season - I've had a great run of results since switching to version 3.
For most away games I've been changing the DM to HB and dropping the AP to Support, it works a treat.

Elneny .. best so far was from PSG which was around £25mil.
Monreal .. sold for £12mil in December leaving end of season (have Tierney signed for then).
Jenkinson .. £4mil seems the magic fee and normally goes Turkey.
Cech .. Starting new save and debating trying to sell him in this one (Leno got injured pre-season in my game so didn't try it).

Hey man, I managed to get rid of Özil on a free to an MLS side, Mkhitaryan I loaned to Porto for the season - that's £550K p/w off the wage bill. Elneny went to China for £14.75M, Monreal was my highest rated player, he has been superb. Jenkinson I sold for about £1M & Cech I extended his contract.

Oh dear, I've annoyed Maitland-Niles so much. Normally I would sell a player when this happens but I really want to keep him. Just finished first season so will try to repair the relationship.

Hi @Sysiphus, I would personally put Maitland-Niles in the same bracket as Nelson etc. he's been superb for me in my first season. I have had the same stagnation with Nelson at Hoffenheim, too, which is a shame.
Out of the other guys I think Willock, Amaechi, Saka & López* could all be handy squad players eventually. Honourable mention to Zelalem, as well.
*played him in a League Cup game aged 16

Hello all, just thought I would share my transfers in my first season.
Tbh I didn't want to get rid of so many but a few players became unhappy at me not letting them leave. Have cleared over £1M - a week - off the wage bill from letting the players highlighted leave which I'm pretty chuffed with.
Sitting in 3rd on 2nd March, if I win my game in hand I'll go top by 2 points. Happy with that so far definitely.

I play him mainly as an AML (IF/Sup) or PF (At) and he's been ok. 3 goals but all from the spot.

I managed to get rid of Özil by selling him on a free to Real Salt Lake in the MLS. I tried to sell Mkhitaryan too but no one was interested - apart from PSG who he rejected a contract with.
I've managed to shave £550,000 (weekly) off the wage bill which I'm chuffed about.

This tickled me as it seems Ashley Cole isn't very popular in the game either..
I had a team meeting and said something along the lines of needing to be better, don't let heads drop etc. Raúl agrees saying "yeah we can definitely kick on from here" I ask if anyone else has anything to say and Cole says "I agree with Raúl" so Howedes replies with "I'm not having that Ashley, not at all". This is the first time I've actually properly laughed loads at FM! So Cole is the only one out of the whole squad who reacted badly. Brilliant.

Ah man, I really wanted him but he chose Man City over me & got a bad injury & is now rotting in their reserves.
