  1. Just to be clear the issue will be reviewed by our QA team - https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2022-bugs-forum/570_all-other-gameplay/home-grown-status-r7494/ Thanks.
  2. Yeah flag it ideally with a save game from beforehand so we can roll it through and see what you saw
  3. Appreciate the frustration here. Unfortunately we're not in a position to address this for FM22, but it is something the team are aware of and will be investigated as part of work for any future versions. Apologies for any inconvenience caused.
  4. Contact support and upload your save game so we can take a look for you. You can contact support here - https://fm22.info/SupportTicket Details on how to upload a save game here - https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/instructions-and-notes/how-to-upload-files-to-us-r98/ Thanks.
  5. Here - https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2022-bugs-forum/pre-game-and-in-game-editor/ Thanks.
  6. I don't believe it's something that can be fixed within the file itself (I don't believe it can be done via the IGE unfortunately) so in terms of that save, you'd need to start a new save with those changes made via the original editor file you used. Apologies about that.
  7. Would also add, I think depending on your definition of what coordination stands for, from my personal understanding I would expect 'Balance' to play a prominent role in this as well. Some of those above such as anticipation and decisions allow them to make the right choice, but things like balance allow the player to say turn or move in a smooth and fluid way to perform said decision (e.g. a full back sharply turning and running to cover an opposing players movement).
  8. Yeah as Vaughany says above and as listed in the job advert, "We believe that good QA Testers can come from a variety of backgrounds, including those who are new to the games industry". And as you've said yourself, you've certainly got lots of FM experience so would suggest making that aspect prominent in your covering letter. Good luck!
  9. May have been removed intentionally or by mistake - if you can show the example of it via a previous version (maybe via a screenshot) and flag it to us via the Bug Tracker the team can take a look. Thanks.

  13. Frequently Asked Questions What do Assistant Researchers do? Assistant Researchers are an important part of the scouting process for Football Manager, making our in-game database as up to date and accurate as possible. They analyse and rate players, staff and make sure numerous other pieces of information related to football clubs are accurate. What’s a Head Researcher (HR) and Assistant Researcher (AR) and what’s the difference? HR’s take responsibility for an entire nation or region in game, meaning that they oversee all the data and work directly with our in-house Research department. AR’s work within this framework, providing support for the HR’s by scouting specific teams, leagues or in some cases even nations to make sure all the information is up to date and correct. How can I get involved? By contacting the Head Researcher and providing details on how you could be able to assist as stated above. Some countries/clubs require specific help and are advertised as such via this part of our forums. Within each specific thread you’ll be able to see how to contact the HR and what information you’ll need to apply. What benefits are there if I’m accepted into an AR role? Whilst the roles are unpaid, if work is done to a high standard you will be eligible to receive a free copy of the forthcoming version of Football Manager. Once you’ve proven yourself you can also be put forward into our Private Testing program for future and advance versions of our game, meaning you’ll be one of the select few who see the game before anyone else outside of the studio. It’s also something good to put on the CV/Resume and some of our researchers have gone on to work within scouting and data teams within football at clubs around the world. Others have even ended up working here at Sports Interactive, some as coders, some as QA and some in our in-house research team. What kind of skills do I need to have to become an Assistant Researcher? As a starting point you need to have a keen interest in both football and Football Manager. We also like our ARs to regularly watch first team games and ideally if they can youth team football to have a comprehensive understanding of any team they’re scouting. We would also recommend familiarity with how the Pre-Game Editor works with FM as our research tools are similar in layout. As well as the above you also need at least basic IT skills to operate our online database and to keep in contact with HRs and other ARs as and when required. Are there any guides or support for me if I do get the role? Absolutely. Once appointed you can view our Researcher Guidelines within our Online Research Database (ORDB) which explains a number of things, ranging from how to use the ORDB down to what every in-game attribute represents. I don't have the time to be an Assistant Researcher but still would like to contribute, is there any other way I can get involved? Yes! If you notice something wrong with our in-game data or think you can help we have our Database and Research Bugs Forum which allows all users to provide feedback on our in-game data. The main thing we ask is that people remember that much of the data is subjective and to respect everyone’s opinion.
  14. So appears to be related to an extinct team in the editor file - essentially the active nation of that team was being recognised on the host system but not the client. If you manually set the nation for any active 'extinct' teams in the editor file then it should allow it to work. Hope that helps.
  15. It should be working, at least is here for us, so worth checking again.
  16. This didn't reproduce for us internally, was just in the saves due to so many assignments being set in the uploaded save they were taking longer. If you have a specific example worth flagging here - https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2022-bugs-forum/transfers-contracts-scouting-recruitment-meetings-and-staff-responsibilities/ Thanks.
  17. We're aware of an issue with knowledge levels that it won't increase via further scouting, but what you can see via the player search is determined by your scouting package anyway. It may have been that during the period they were scouting that region you asked your scouting team to look at additional players, which is why they've shown up in this period. Bear in mind that your scouts will only suggest players they feel are worth recommending, not all players they've looked at during that period. Saying that, if you feel there was an underlying issue here please do raise it via our Bug Tracker here - https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/football-manager-2022-bugs-forum/transfers-contracts-scouting-recruitment-meetings-and-staff-responsibilities/ Ideally if you have a save game from just before you started scouting and one after, if you upload those it'll allow our team to quickly look at your example. Details on how to upload save games can be found here - https://community.sigames.com/bugtracker/instructions-and-notes/how-to-upload-files-to-us-r98/ Thanks.
  18. Worth contacting our support team for assistance here - https://fm22.info/SupportTicket Thanks.
  19. There are a whole host of factors in play which means this isn't really a comparable test. Different reps, a custom db etc. Realistically a manager who starts with a max starting rep and all badges could be offered the very best jobs straight from the off. The frequency of you being approached may not be as high given a number of other factors (contract length, salary etc). Whilst it could be tweaked to make it even more realistic to real life, there's not really anything we've seen that suggests there's an underlying issue here and certainly not something you would class as a major bug. But again, we're always happy to look at examples in fair testing environments. Thanks.
  20. Some are slightly deluded, some have deluded agents. Sometimes it's dependent on what you already have in your squad - is there a pretty low rep/poor ability player who has a similar playing time promise?
  21. Normally have a 'test save' during development just for keeping an eye on new features/bugs etc as they come in. Then once we get close to the Early Access Beta phase I'll start a full save which I'll normally continue. Occasionally may start another save which is a bit more silly a fun. Remember a couple of versions ago did an MLS challenge where I'd manage a different MLS club every season and only make signings/sales through my DOF
