  1. 4-2-3-1 is the way to go. Celtics board philosophies are to buy young players and develop young players and these are the most important things to fulfil. GK- CGordon and DDVries would do fine in the first season but are both old and not brilliant standard up against European opposition, I would advise buying a younger GK with about 3 stars, I bought Etrit Berisha for £5m from Atlanta and he is doing a fine job 3 years later. WBR- Lustig is fine but you can get good money for him, hes aging so getting him away ASAP was how I played it, giving him to PSG for £11m. Ralston is always a good backup player, but I bought Santiago Arias for £12m from PSV, better than Lustig and younger too, he brings interest from England and you can cash him in for £20m in a couple years. DC- Simunovic, Boyata and Svia will do a good job. after one season I sold Boyata to Brighton and bought Nicolas Isimit-Marin from Holland for c. £10m and he is my best ever DC. There are no quality center backs in the youth system so maybe buy a young player from Europe quite quickly. WBL- KT is consistently a top performer and perpetually gains interest from England, hold them off long enough and you can get £40-50mil for him. I bought Kevin Holt from Dundee as a steady backup to up the home-grown player count. Calvin Miller never really reaches high standards but eventually replaced Holt as my backup, Richard Roddie also becomes a decent player. DM/MC- Ajer becomes one of the best players in the squad after a year or two, keep him and give him game time. Scott Brown is a top performer for the first season and then I gave him to the MLS for £3mill. Callum Mcgregor becomes a very decent player and is also home-grown. Ntcham is good forever but never shines, he demands more playing time but does not deserve it, should be able to pawn him of to the EPL for £14-18mill. Rogic has been my best midfielder for some years now and steps up all the time. Koussi and Henderson never meet the level you require of them no matter how many times you send them on loan, you could keep them as backup though. Jad Mouaddib is a great promising young player would advise buying. John Mcginn should be available on pre-contract in Jan2019. Trinade de Vilhene is a great buy also. AMR- Paddy Roberts is great but impossible to buy, I loaned Jeramie Boga from Chelsea once he left and then I bought Theo Walcott on a pre-contract. James Forrest is a consistently good performer but you can always look for a 3 1/2 star player with a bit more pazzazz. AMC- Stu Armstrong and Christie have provided enough strength in this position for the 3 years ive been here and have always performed admirably. Wes Hoolahan was a solid short term solution should one of them have a long term injury. Mikey Johnson should gradually blend into the team. AML- Scott Sinclair is always high in goalscoring leagues and brings high ratings. Alain Oyerzun from Zaragoza for 500k is an absolute steal for cover. I got rid of Jonny Hayes ASAP trying to get the average age down. ST- My proudest performance in my celtic career has been my management of Strikers. Leigh Griffiths and Moussa Dembele can both be sold for 25-30£mill. SIGN LAUTARO MARTINEZ, he has been the player of the season and top goalscorer every season so far, loves the European game. Miguel Borja is also a hot prospect, I always like to keep a 3rd striker who is Scottish to fill quotas, Stevie May and Jason Cummings can both step up against domestic teams if you need to rest your top players. There are no great properties in the youth team.
