  1. Hi, I have removed ASUS HiPost, ASUS Splendid and TotalRecovery Pro as suggested. I wasn't able to find DCNTranProc or FBAgent but understand these are related to TotalRecovery Pro so assume these were also deleted when I uninstalled that program. This still has not resolved the problem though. Could you please instruct me on what to do next? I am coming to the conclusion that FM2018 is just not going to work with my NVIDIA graphics card, which is disappointing since I paid £30 for the game on amazon, and many other games do work with my NVIDIA graphics card without any problems.
  2. Yes, I have uninstalled and reinstalled FM after uninstalling AVG and also uninstalling and reinstalling the graphics card drivers. This has not resolved the problem.
  3. I followed your instructions, but this hasn't helped. I have now fully uninstalled AVG and just use Windows Defender as I understand this AntiVirus progamme does not affect Steam. I have since reinstalled the graphics drivers but I am still having the same problems. Can you please advise what to do next?
  4. Hi, I did not encounter any problems when uninstalling or reinstalling the drivers. It was very straightforward and there were no errors. I have AVG AntiVirus Free installed. Will
  5. Hi, I followed your instructions and restarted the computer. It hasn't helped and the crash dump still happens on starting the game when it is configured to use the NVIDIA graphics card. Could you please instruct me on what to do next? If it helps diagnose the problem, on opening dxdiag, I also get an error message saying it's having a problem accessing Direct3D. Under the "display" tab, it lists the inbuilt Intel HD Graphics 520 card. Under the "render" tab, it lists the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX Graphics card. Under the "DirectX Features" of the "render" tab, it says: DirectDraw Acceleration: Disabled Direct3D Acceleration: Not Available AGP Texture Acceleration: Not Available It also lists the device type as a "Render-Only Display Device". I don't know if any of that has anything to do with the problem, or if it helps you diagnose the problem, but thought I'd include it. Please advise.
  6. Hi, I recently bought FM2018. If I configure it to use the integrated graphics card on my laptop (by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting NVIDIA Control Panel, going to the Program Settings tab, and selecting "Integrated Graphics card" for FM2018) the game runs fine. However, I want to run it using my more powerful NVIDIA GeForce 940MX graphics card. If I configure the game to use this graphics card though (by right-clicking on the desktop, selecting NVIDIA Control Panel, going to the Program Settings tab, and selecting "High-performance NVIDIA processor" for FM2018) the game performs a crash dump on opening. I have already tried all of the following : 1. Installed all Windows 10 updates and restarted the computer 2. Deleted all Direct X files and reinstalled it as suggested in one of your other threads and restarted the computer 3. Updated all NVIDIA graphics card drivers and restarted the computer 4. Updated my Net Framework as suggested in one of your threads and restarted the computer 5. Uninstalled and reinstalled Steam and Football Manager 2018 and restarted my computer I am not using any custom graphics / skins / logos / editor files or additions of any type, and I have my laptop plugged into the power source when attempting to run the game. Nothing has worked so far. I have attached an image of the error message that I get on starting the game, the crash dump file created, my dxdiag file, and my msinfo32 file in case they are needed. Please can you help? DxDiag.txt msinfo32.nfo FM 2018 v18.2.2.1055984 (2018.02.10 09.36.07).dmp
