  1. The Norwich full-backs are a decent shout. Their left-back would be Jamal Lewis, but i'd hate to see him and Max Aarons separated, so if you could, scoop them both up!
  2. Here's an update for my ideal tactic and setup! Next update will hopefully be about transfers (if i do any) and pre-season results. Thanks for reading, and if you're also using Wigan as your FM20 team, let's share opinions and stories!
  3. @batch thank you for the reply! I didn't realize that they're doing pretty bad in real life! On paper the squad looks pretty decent to be honest. And wow, 1 away win since 2018 is pretty sad...hopefully i'll do a bit better. @shakey.bridge thank you also for the reply! As of this time of writing, the result is 1-0 in your favor, so much for that unbeaten run for us huh! So here is an update containing the first team, any criticisms are welcome! Forgive my mediocre editing skills lmao.
  4. You know what sucks? Having your save files corrupted ;( I had a little problem with my Reading save file, the Millwall one where i got promoted also went haywire. So i went out and started a new one with The Lions, hopefully this post will give you guys a little bit of info, as well as providing a good reading! MILLWALL FC Sky Bet ChampionshipMedia Prediction : 21stNickname : The LionsYear Founded : 1885Stadium : The DenCapacity : 20.146 all-seater (19.734 capacity used in normal matches)Training Facilities : GoodData Analysis Facilities : Below AverageYouth Facilities : GoodYouth Level : 2Junior Coaching and Youth Recruitment : AverageFierce Rivals : West HamOther Rivals : Leeds, Charlton, Crystal Palace, CardiffOwner Status : Loves the ClubCaptain : Steve MorisonVice-Captain : Shaun HutchinsonSo the first thing i did was to meet the board and discussed what tasks will be handed over to the staff and what tasks i will be handling myself. I then proceeded to fire all of my staff, since i need to bring in my own, those who also fit my coaching style. Neil Harris did a wonderful job with the resources he was given, and i'd like to perform at least as good as how he did.Now that the staff's been taken care of, let's see what we have to work with in terms of squad.SQUAD OVERVIEW FULL SQUAD VERDICT : we've got a lot of hard workers, those who will play for the team, with decent depth at every position. Relegation shouldn't be a problem. We might even go one further like Harris did and get into the playoffs! KEY PLAYERSTACTICS I'll be playing a counter attacking 442, focusing on attacking through the wings while being solid and combative through the center, as i feel this philosophy fits the players we currently have. If anyone has any suggestions on tactics, signings, or even post your gameplay experiences, they're very welcome! We'll be playing 8 friendlies through the months of June and July, a good time to familiarize myself with the squad and the tactic we'll be using. Wish me luck!
  5. Hi guys! So here's my first post on the forum! I've been wanting to join in the discussion after reading (wink wink) your guys's experience i want to join in the fun haha. I have a Millwall save (and i'm a West Ham fan, i know, sue me) and took them to the Premier League in my first season winning the league but i didn't want to post about that as i don't feel that i would've had the same experience if i'm not sharing it with you guys. So here goes my new game which will be with... READING FC !!! Nickname : The Royals Finances : Secure Owner : Loves the Club Stadium : The Madejski Stadium, 24.197 all-seater (24.162 capacity used in normal matches) Training Facilities : Great Data Analysis Facilities : Poor Youth Facilities : Great Captain : Paul McShane Vice Captain : Chris Gunter SQUAD ANALYSIS So that leaves my squad depth like this : GK : Mannone/Walker RB : Yiadom/??? RCB : Moore/McShane LCB : ???/Holmes LB : Gunter/Richards DM : Meyler/Ezatolahi RCM : Kelly/Bacuna/Rinomhota LCM : Swift/ ??? LW : Barrow/Sims/Meïté RIF : Aluko/??? ST : Böđvarsson/Baldock/McNulty That's 21 people, i'd like to have the maximum 25 people so i'll be looking to find 5 players, namely : - A first team left sided center back - A full back, either left or right, since Gunter can easily slot in either one, backup or a youngster - A center midfield rotation option - A right inside forward, either to displace Aluko or to be an understudy UNDER 23s A lot of promising talent, some i already promoted to the first team. The rest among them are Danny Loader, Darren Sidoel, Josh Barrett, and Pelle Clement. Might loan out some of the youngsters so they can get game time. Will look to sell a few of deadwood, including David Edwards whose out injured, Anssi Jaakkola, Danzell Gravenberch whose out on loan, Callum Harriott, and Tyler Blackett, plus the ones i already mentioned above such as van den Berg, McCleary, Popa, Ilori, and Obita. Should raise a bit of funds Predicted to be mid-table to lower mid-table-ish, i do believe that's a tad little too low, as i do believe with a few tweaks in the squad we can aim for a bit higher. Wish me luck!
