  1. Hi, I found a deal on a boxed copy from argos, 22.99, I hear it comes with a disc and a code for steam... My question is can I just activate the game on steam with the code as I don't actually have an internal disc drive? I do have an external if I need disc for one off activation but it won't be very practical day to day. One other question being would this come with the touch version? Thanks
  2. Hi, I've the same issue on this thread but no responses as yet - At least glad to hear that it's not just myself If you're just struggling to get to the menu - "left shoulder", "scouting" then the next menu you'll find "player search" easy option from their is select "quick search" EDIT: If PC, left had menu should show the scouting menu (I'm purely guessing though)
  3. Hi, Wondering if I'm missing something on FM20 touch switch edition. I've started a game in Scotland, with the english leagues as well, I search the transfer market and there are very few players transfer or loan listed (I don't have the "interested" box checked) In regards to England there seems to be about 4 english players (+1mil) for sale/loan, the rest are south american players that have no chance of getting a WP. Have I missed something in the changes this year?
  4. It comes down to personal preference. Personally, if I had your options, I would pick the touch version, on what i don't know, what do you feel more comfy on? I'm waiting on the switch version as I've enjoyed the last couple of years and its my most played switch title, though I am tempted to get touch for my surface though not sure how comfy this would be as I dislike the pop up keyboard and its not as portable with keyboard attached You could try an older version from the likes of cdkeys . Com (not sure if allowed to link that) to see how it runs on surface
  5. I'd love to know if touch version will become available with game pass/stadia, full fat fm is just too much for me nowadays. Also, if touch 19 isn't planned, does anyone know if touch 20 will be? Thanks
  6. you could try pcdecrapifier - was bored on youtube the other day and stumbled across it - the guy then went onto ninite.com and used that to install all the software he wanted on his laptop. I'm no expert so you might want to see if anyone else has had experience of these sites before trying, but I was impressed
  7. Thanks for the input, guess option one is the way to go. Cheers for the input
  8. It's the 5400rpm, slowest of the slow, that's putting me off. So Mibbes it doesn't bother fm, but it's still important. Will this give u the quick boot of windows, quick load and save that the other one would?
  9. Memory, as explained is cheap enough to upgrade(not that u want to do this straight off) it's really the hdd that really puts me off the 1st one. Never had a hybrid, or ssd for that matter, would this hdd annoy me? I just don't know enough about them.
  10. I do like the 1st one's processor and gpu... Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor Dedicated GeForce GTX 960M 4GB Graphics... but then I like the 2nd ones memory and HDD.. • 12GB DDR4 RAM • 128GB SSD + 750GB HDD Like a fat kid in a sweet shop, but completely unnecessary for my needs (just total "wants")
  11. this thread and having a nosey at all the current ideas on best laptops for budgets/needs/wants etc. I've noticed the 2 from page 37 http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/7559-8045-Dell-Inspiron-15-7000_1856981.html Dell Inspiron 15-7000 - £739 Intel Core i7-6700HQ Quad Core Processor 15.6" Full HD Screen Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit 8GB DDR3 RAM 8GB SSD + 1000GB Hybrid HDD (5400rpm) Dedicated GeForce GTX 960M 4GB Graphics USB3 | HDMI | Bluetooth Aluminum chassis with Backlit Keyboard AND http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/N551VW-FW258T-ASUS-N551VW-FW258T_1868709.html ASUS N551VW-FW258T - £719 • Intel Core i5-6300HQ Quad Core Processor • 15.6" Full HD Screen • Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit • 12GB DDR4 RAM • 128GB SSD + 750GB HDD • DVD Rewriter • Dedicated GeForce GTX 960M 2GB Graphics • USB3 | HDMI | Bluetooth | DisplayPort • Includes Subwoofer The 1st one seems to be the clear winner with posters on here, but my mate who games(not FM, but WOW, fallout 4 etc) seems to be more impressed with the 2nd FM, I play Scottish, English Leagues, both down to bottom teir, sometimes throw in a bit of Spanish leagues. I’ve never played fm on a decent system, it’s always been pretty slow and 3D matches on low detail. I like a large database so as to unearth all these hidden gems. Only other games I’m interested in are civilisation and sim city type games. I don’t make videos or use photoshop. Am I just wasting my money on these setups? Would something cheaper be better. Mate also says wait on HMB(?) gpus to hit if I’m not in a rush, but I wouldn’t need this for fm. Cheers!
  12. Hi all, got a little spare cash just now, up to 650, but would rather not spend that much. I'm looking for either a small Base unit(media style) to go under TV, or a laptop. Only tend to play spl, bpl an La Liga. Never been able to have 3d graphics on anything more than basic. Pretty sick of laptops not lasting so warrantys a must. Any help would be appreciated.
