  1. Well, it happened again after the 3rd season.

Ward's stats are from his current club. He played maybe one cup game for my team.

Youlou is my number 4 striker and he didn't play too much first team matches. There are two other strikers who played more than him, so he shouldn't be in this list.

I added a save file 2 days before the end of season.

    Save file: HIFK-Copy.fm

  2. I think it has something to do with 'existing injuries' or whatever it's called. I tried to find it in the editor but no success.

I've done some editing and for testing purposes I've started several games now and this happens every time (around july) (I start december 2020).

If I can remember correctly, the player was injured IRL long time during summer/autumn.

No biggie, he was 36 and playing in my B-team, so it wasn't a big loss.

  3. Finnish FA's web site

    https://www.palloliitto.fi/miesten-ykkonen/info

"After the upper group stage has finished, the winner goes directly to Veikkausliiga (Finnish league) for the season 2022. Second placed team goes to the league qualifying"

Because of covid, they didn't play group stages, but second placed team of the regular season went to the league qualifying against 11th placed team of Veikkausliiga.

No such thing as promotion quarter final or semi final. I don't know if the FA has planned such matches (it's possible because they are a bunch of i....s, what comes to the Finnish league system), but there isn't any info about it and such matches haven't been played ever.

  4. So, in the game, the group stage fixtures are drawn, but in real life they are not.

In the game, 1st and 2nd placed teams (after regular season) can play against each other the Match day 1 of the group stage, but this doesn't happen in real life because fixtures are fixed and they play against each other in the final match of the season (1st position team after regular season being the home team).

This is made because they want that the most important matches are in the final rounds of the season.

Finnish FA's web sites are piece of s... so I can't provide any official source material. Only thing to do is to look at regular season final standings (seasons 2019 and 2021) and compare those to the group stage fixturessarjataulukko.thumb.jpg.7eb3ac228a2741ea93105f206d52f31a.jpg

Same comparison can be made in the relegation group and we get the fixtures shown in parentesis in the opening message. Season 2021 is the same. Group stages of division 1 haven't been played because of covid, but the same fixtures apply also there.

  5. On 05/01/2022 at 14:30, Kyle Brown said:

May have misunderstood this, but is it not EU member states rather than UEFA nations? As the countries mentioned aren't part of the EU.

In the game the rule is max 3 non-EU players in match squad, but it should be max 3 players from non-UEFA member nations (and of course there is that African... agreement). So, since all European nations (and Israel) are also UEFA member nations, citizen of any European country (and Israel) isn't foreign player in Finland. Not just EU members.

I fixed the problem in the editor adding Europe (continent) to Nations treated as EU. Just like there is African... agreement.
