  1. What's happening with injuries after the latest patch? Every single match some player gets injured. Can't remember the last time it passed without getting a notification like this during a match:
  2. I've set to my right BDP to dribble more and he's doing great job and opens up space for my right WB to run in and cross. 17 matches/15 assists so far for him. BTW this combination with 2 tall strikers is a bomb, AI defence is powerless against them. I'm in about 20 matches so far and scored 15 goals just from set pieces. Just trashed Man City 4:0 at home, they barely made it to my box. In first 40 minutes they had 0 shots, my boys completely stunned them. 3/4 goals came from a header. Ratkov is a beast. A bit of analytics:
  3. Yeah, there's no way for my IF's to retrain to WB. All of them are very bad defensively. This is something i want to try: 3-4-1-2 with TF(su) and CF(at) with AM behind & 2 VOL in middle I guess Ratkov would be great option for TF as he is able to hold up the ball and pass. I would sometimes change the other's striker role from CF to Advanced Forward, guess that would work well too. I'm waiting for another 'Volante' to sign to fill up that position. This system might not work well in domestic league because the most opponents are much weaker, so it would be a little hard to break their 'park-the-bus' tactics. For now I would maybe stick to 4-2-3-1 wide or 4-2-4 in domestic matches and 3-4-1-2 in UCL until i enhance the new one over time and fit it with some new players. Maybe with some Mezzala in the middle? Now i'm looking to utilize the set pieces, since i have 6 players in first 11 that are over 1.9m height. I already set up some routines, now waiting for results
  4. In fact, i have overplayed him a bit at that point. That was probably the cause of his stats decline. He just got back on the track. @Cloud9 My main IF got injured, so i switched him to IF(a) and he did great. Thanks for the tips. In the meantime I finished the season and I ran into a similar player (tall, fast, strong) and I couldn't resist bringing him. Now I'm considering changing formation from 4231 to maybe 352 so i can fit them both. I already have two all-around DMCs that can be used in multiple roles. I will have to get rid of my amc though and maybe try to retrain some of my inside forwards to wing backs. I'm just not sure how two attackers with a similar profile will work, I'm thinking of putting one as DLF and the other as CF or Target Man. I just get obsessed when i ran into tall striker with pace. For me they are real gems in game that are hard to find. I just started another thread inside this one, hope that's not a problem
  5. Not sure if I posted this topic in the correct forum, correct me if i'm wrong. Occasionally i'm noticing drastic attributes decline from some of my players, even if they train well and they're in good run of form. My training schedule is mostly adjusted to my gegenpress tactic (transition press, physical, chance conversion, etc) + at least two or three match prep sessions to focus on individual roles attributes. So, i'm having this guy his attributes declined recently. He's 21 years old, scoring almost every match, training well but instead of improving, his attributes keep going down for last two months. I'll post screenshots. I'm intrigued as to what all factors affect attribute drop? Is there anything else except training, playing time, run of form? I read somewhere about a theory that game uses the stats to match it's current ability. So, if players improve their stats faster than what their ability is, the game readjust things. It often happens that after I sign a player, soon after that his attributes drop. It was pretty annoying so i used to check their CA changes through in-game editor and it usually turned out that their CA suddenly drops by 3 or 4 in less than a month after signing. Not sure if i'm doing something wrong in training or anything else or does this happen to everyone in game.
  6. On FM22 the pre-season never starts before 01.07. which is too late. In RL and earlier FM versions it usually starts in mid-june. Only 2 weeks of pre-season training is just not enough, there should be at least 3 or 4 weeks before the first match of the season.
  7. Hello, i'm playing as Red Star in Serbian Super League for 8 seasons in a row. I have never been oferred the option to choose a pre-season start date. At the end of each season all i get is the info that the players are on holiday usually until 01.07-03.07. I don't have enough time to organize more than 2 friendly matches, because the season in Serbia usually starts around July 15th. The result is that my players are tired and jaded already in October, although i rotate often. The only exception is the 2021/22 season when I took over the team and then I had enough time to organize a pre-season friendlies from 19.06. After that, every following year, the pre-season does not start before 01.07. Not sure if this is a bug or i'm just doing something wrong.
