Well done gents on another release day! A little bit disappointed at the lack of changes to the ME for release, but I can understand not rushing it and getting it right. A simple change list/post between beta and full release would be fantastic. Transparency and/or solid communication go a long way in maintaining a healthy relationship between devs and players.

No, as an experienced FM player, I generally have my future (1-2 seasons ahead) first and second 11 already mentally planned. It is an upgrade on the old squad depth screen, but even that I only used it a handful of times in the thousands of hours I’ve spent on FM. For me, simply arranging the shortlist by position more than suffices for planning - it is way more informative too. I do appreciate the idea as it may help new players, but it’s not for me.

There’s quite a few options, the Portuguese guys are fantastic: Raul José and Quaresma, there’s also Baldini, Tinius (GK). There’s also a Roma coach who looks great - Salzarulo. Montiero and Colbert are perfect fitness coaches. Trezeguet looks a great chief scout, Ribalta or Monchi look very good options as a DoF. I am playing on a large + database with multiple nations loaded fyi.

Thanks for setting up the Utd thread. Started my Utd save last night, managed to get Maguire (12.25m), AWB (16.75m), Fred (8.5m) and Heaton (free) out the door to free up some budget. Replaced coaching team, gutted scouting team to below 15 scouts (anyone below 16 Judge CA/PA) and in the process of sorting out the medical team. As for transfers in: Managed to get Barella (£60m - £20m + £40m) , Bastoni (£65m - £25m + £40m) and Khellvan (£9m) in. Must admit they’re unrealistic transfers but it’s the beta so just in the process of testing formations, players and having fun.
