Playing as the New England Revolution, when trying to offer a player on Revs II a contract renewal, the only option is to offer a MLS contract and not a B team friendly contract. For example, I am trying to renew Michel who is on a $575/pw contact with the B team. When I try and renew, I can only offer MLS level contracts. Also, there is no way I have seen to sign a free agent to the B team specifically. I assume this is an issue for all of the MLS B teams.
The other issue is that the B team never plays any games, but I saw that posted by someone else.
