The sortitoutsi fix didn't work for me. The game wouldn't even start. I needed to undo it. Nothing I try gets the full screen mode back. This windowed cropped issue is a disaster.

Not enough has been made of the fact that users with a 14"/16" MacBook now have to effectively use an incorrect resolution that is over an inch smaller than the screen size.
Same here on my 14" MacBook Pro with the notch. Not only does it take away usable space from Football Manager, when you minimise the game, the rest of macOS has been resized too and every other app is affected. Please acknowledge this as an issue and fix it as soon as possible.

Thanks. I’ll be avoiding Ventura so. That’s horrible. The notice doesn’t even interfere with the game for me. Happier to have maximised use of the display.

Please read at the bottom of that article. It seems FM23 has updated its display settings to be better optimised for Mac however now I have half an inch of space missing on all sides of my screen. I now have 12.5" rather than 14" space to play the game meaning everything is now much smaller.
Is there a way to go back to the previous update because I'd rather play with that than use this new letterbox mode.
What OS are you on? On Monterey it looks okay to me

Fixed this by going on holiday for one day. After that I could save my team selection.

Are you sure? This is something I have been seeing for a few months on FM20 on macOS 10.15 Catalina and the same on FM21 Beta. Every time I quit both games it comes up. Easy to click ignore of course but it's strange.
Have you seen this come up on FM20 on Catalina?

I am playing 4-2-3-1 with United.
Had an incredible last season (2027/28) and I played the following for those two roles:
CAM as Attacking Midfielder > Support - Thiago Almada
ST as Advanced Forward > Attack - Kylian Mbappe
They are flanked by Mason on the left wing as Inside Forward > Attack and Haaland on the right side as Inside Forward > Attack
My two in midfield are both deep lying playmakers, one defend and one support.
My full backs are both set to Wing Back > Support
I play direct passing as well and "exploit the flanks"
