I have a doubt about the CPU - It's better for FM a CPU that has better Single-Thread performance or Multi-Thread? How many cores/threads the game uses properly?
Of those CPUs wich will run FM20 faster: i9-10900K or Ryzen 3900X?
The 10900k. Even the 9900k runs FM faster than the 3900X.
Might wanna take a look:

1. What would you say are good PPMs for players in GOODBYE and WOF?
-
2. Would you argee that the BWM is better fullfield by a BBM- type of player, at least for good teams? I had Vidal in the BWM role last season, together with the PPM: Gets forward whenever its possible and he scored 20 goals in 28 league games (although including a few pens).
A pure BWM is too limited imo.
3. Is it a huge difference to use normal CBs instead of BPDs?

I am a bit baffled by reading this thread.

No, you didnt miss it, its just not there. Thats why the numerous 3rd party websites give you totally contrary information.
What Seb wrote totally changes the approach you should evaluate the HoYD. I will fire mine right away.
I totally agree with what @pheelf said; it makes you also wonder in which other areas there might be such misconceptions.
I have one additional question @Seb Wassell, though: Does the reputation of the HoYD matter at all? From what you wrote i gauge its not the case?
Btw.: I like that you can focus more on the playing style/preferences of the HoYD now.

Yes, thanks, the issue has to be somewhere else. (I will open a thread for that).

Probably because of the chemistry of the players. When players play together long enough, they developed understanding among one another. Any changes will hurt the chemistry.
Do you mean that in the shorttearm or in the longterm? F.e.: You play with a Centerbackpairing A B a few games then switch to A C and then after a few games back to A B. Does A B have chemistry then?
Its pretty annoyinng for me so far, I mean you have to rotate for various reasons. I just hope my sample size is too small and the cause is something else. :/

I get the feeling that the game doesn’t respond well to squad rotation. Every time I make a few more changes, my team plays absolute garbage and lose deservedly. Regardless of matchshape.
With the centerbacks its the worst, if i change one of them i can be sure that the next game my defence plays way worse than usal.
Did you make the same experience?

...that the user shared his testresults, yes. The results itself: not really, no.
The 5800X3D seems way slower than the 12700k; not very suprising, still disappointing.
