Quite good, the finances are solid, after I got back to CL. But its hard to keep your best players, for example I had to sell Vlahović after 2nd season. PSG came with an offer, he became unsettled in the winter window, developed the status to look for options at the end of his contract, and didn't want to talk with me, so I sold him in his last year of contract, which obviously is not great cause you won't bring anyone of his quality thats available on the market - at I struggled and got Taremi for a replacement, but I'll have to explore options to upgrade in a season or two. Also the tactic I chose 4-2-2-2 was a struggle at the start - not many wingers in the team, and still Im not that happy with it, have to polish it more, cause now I have players for it. It's fairly fun, not as easy as it was in previous editions, rebuild is real

Bit late to the party this year, but finally started a save with Juve with the db update, so I'm out of European competition. Planning to play 4-4-2 with both wingers higher up the pitch, and build the squad around Chiesa/Locatelli/Vlahović and Bremer. Currently exploring some options if I could offload some of the deadwood, not much in the bank to spend €20M. We'll see if I'll be able to bring some quality to the team.

Season 1 Update

Serie A

What a great campaign it has been, Milan has been really crazy good at being consistant, but we managed to catch them near the end of the season - I even catched them 3 fixtures before the end, and passed them, but after loosing the Coppa Italia final game, we really had a bad form in the final 2 games of the season... After a diasspointing draw vs Verona (away) in the 37th fixture, Milan got passed us by 1 point - absolutely gutted, into the final fixture we played Fiorentina (H), while Milan went to play Sampdoria (away) and after 45 minutes, we would be the champions - Milan has been drawing 1-1, while we were in the lead 2-1 after goals from Di Maria and Vlahović, thing started to look even better for us - shortly after the break we raised our lead to 3-1, and Milan had Bennacer sent off! I really started to believe, but Milan went to win 3-2 with man down, and my players stopped playing in 80min+ like they would know it doesn't matter and we drew 3-3 in the end. So a bit gutted about the end result, but it has been a really good season nontheless, with catching Milan, but we weren't good enough in the end. As expected the teams depth proved to be an issue espescially during January and February, where I had big issues at full backs position with numerous injuries, but also no good rotation in the midfield and on the wings.

When I hoped at least Vlahović would be crowned the top scorer with 28 goals, I got to know that mr Immobile did something just incredible - as he banged 42 for Lazio to help them reach 4th place and securing a champions league spot. Our offence prooved to be really strong with 103 goals scored - but I'll be tweaking the tactic a bit - we weren't consitant with those goals, we sometimes had unreal games like 7-0 vs Sassuolo, or two consecutive 5-0 over Verona and Udinese to follow that up with 0-0 and 1-1 shortly after vs Torino and Sampdoria, and I would like to tighten the defence a bit - this is something my team struggled espescially at the start of the season where we were loosing a lot of goals and constantly lost goals like 4-2 vs Napoli, 2-2 v Lazio, and even teams like Cremonese, Monza and Spezia were scoring vs us. But I'm working on that already, and the tweaks seem to be working.

Champions League

After finishing 2nd in the group stage we've faced and incredibly tough opponent in the first knockout stage - Man City, and damn it really was a challenge

Home - First game at home felt really good, City has been doing mistakes and we managed to use that - after a bad pass from Ruben Dias, Vlahović intercepted the ball and scored after a first time shot. The game went to an end with us having a slight advantage before the 2nd leg in Manchester.

Away - We went to Manchester with high hopes, to stop City, and hold to the lead - and those hopes got even bigger after we had an early goal! Ruben Dias made another mistake, and he netted an own goal after a cross from Di Maria! What a start in the 6th minute, unfortunately City came back into the game in the 19th minute after a goal by Haaland. That was it for the first half - still a decent result for us, but the 2nd half was just a disaster... De Bruyne in the 50' minute, Haaland got a second goal in the 61st', Grealish made it impossible in 69th' and Bernardo Silva finished us off in 85th'. 1-5 and absolute trashing at the Etihad, absolutely gutted - it was one of those games that every shot found the net - xG for City was 1,96 in this game, but they banged 5!

Well a really bad ending for our season in CL, and an early exit - definetly we will need to improve next season.

Coppa Italia

The coppa as usual started late for a top team like us, and went fairly well, won 3-0 over Roma in the quarter final, faced Inter in the semis where we managed to pull off a 0-0 (A) and 2-0(H) to advance to the final. Where we faced Atalanta, and... again a big let down, we've lost 0-2, went down very early, as Pasalić scored in the 2nd minute, Atalanta scored another goal just before the first half whistle as Muriel found the net in the 42nd'. Cuadrado ended our hopes in the 2nd half after getting a red card in the 60th minute and it was it. Lost 0-2.

Overall we messed all of our chances - but it is what it is, and hope we can come back strong next season.

Transfers:

Well I went on a small spending spree, after ammasing the money in the winter transfer window, we had the bank filled up - though we didn't get more than that, and had €70M to spend.

In:

Jamal Musiala - €70M (rising to a whooping €110M) - from Bayern - so I wanted to buy a new number 10! A leader that will stay with us basically forever, I've been aiming Musiala, Szoboszlai, Fati, Reyna, Kai Havertz - but basically non of the teams wanted to negotiate with me, apart from Bayern. And we worked out a deal €70M + €7.5M after 50 league games, €29M after 20 international games, and €3,5M in a case of winning Coppa Italia ( ) - it's a lot, but having it spread over a period of 2 seasons, is something I could afford, and I think Musiala might be the real deal for the next 10 years+, he's also off to a good start - 3 goals in 2 games in champions league, and 2 goals 3 assists in 7 league games.
Oumar Solet - €16,75M (rising to €19,25M) - from Salzburg - A good backup for my CB position, as Scalvini is still developing, also Solet can cover the DM position - and I really like this versality, and he really proves to be a really solid player for the team.
Marco Carnesecchi - €15M (rising to €26,5M) - from Atalanta - My board was not happy with me spending so much on him, but he seems to be the only GK talent Italy has to offer (apart from Dollaruma, but obv he's unbuyable), looking forward to development of Marco, and hope he'll replace Szczesny in a season or two.
Bryan Cristante - €12M - from Roma - and last but not least, I've brought Cristante into my rotation - I've been scouting him in the winter, but didnt make an offer in the end - got surprised late August by my scouts reports where they suggested that Cristante will be available for €10-13M, and I had an offer of €12M accepted, a good rotation player for DM/MC and in case of an emergency he could play CB. A pretty good price I would say for another versatile player.
Dejan Kulusevski - €0M - from Tottenham - back from loan - this surprised me a lot, Tottenham after Kulu having a good season for them didnt use the €36M clausule and they sent him back to Turin - so another great player who joined, which I totally was not expecting to happen.

Out:

Apart from Bonucci, Danilo and Rabiot who basically sponsored those buys, I offloaded some of the teams deadwood:

Daniele Rugani - €5M - to Roma
Juan Cuadrado - €7M - to R.Madrid - a solid player but he started to decline fast in the physical attributes and decided to offload, and free up his big wages. R Madrid were interested in him for a long time, and I felt this is a decent offer for a 34 old Columbian (going into 35 this season).
Dennis Zakaria - €14.25M - to At. Madrid - Most likely Zakaria would stay with us, but after the deal done with Cristante he seemed to be not needed - Atletico came with a decent offer
Marco Pjaca - €5M - to Lyon
Gianluca Frabotta - €5M to Bournemouth
Arthur - €2M loan to AC Milan - obligatory buy for €20M after 10 league games - unsprisingly Liverpool didnt opt to buy Arthur out, couldnt offload him straight, but Milan offered a decent loan deal which I accepted - 10 league games seem to be a very easy condition to be met, and I never planned on using him.
Ihattaren - €5M to Midtylland
Kaio Jorge - loan to Salzburg - he seems to be developing fairly well, and I'll be keeping the young Brazilian in my rotation next year, with Milik making space for him.

And that's it, a really nice transfer window, and the team seems to have way more depth now with the new comees, and players like Luca Pellegrini, Nicolo Rovella coming back from their loans.

Finished my January transfer window, which ended up pretty well

Transfers In:

Yannick Carrasco - loan from At. Madrid - €0M 70% of wages - option to buy at €46M (which I won't utilize :D) - Ive been struggeling with backup wingers, and Carrasco seems to be a good fit here, he was transfer listed at Atleti and the terms of the loan were really good
Nikola Milenković - €22M + (€6M after 50 league games) - I felt I'll need to strengthen my CB roster, as Scalvini and Gatti aren't first team material (the issue when starting one year before on an updated db :D) - It was between Milenkovic and Mancini (had a deal for Mancini for around €30M), but the Italian asked for higher wages, bigger team role, also Roma kept adding a replacement clausule to the deal - and it nearly was deadline day. So I've decided to go for the Serbian. Seems like a good deal here, Mancini ended up in Newcastle (for €36M). Most likely Nikola will jump into the first XI replacing Bonucci.

Transfers Out:

So I had clubs sniffing, and received offers/enquiries for 3 of my players - Bonucci, Rabiot and Danilo. I've negotiatied all of them to take place in the summer (end of the season), suprisingly for me - I had this request accepted by all the AI clubs, so I did end up selling all 3 of them, but they'll remain with the team till the end of the campaign.

Leonardo Bonucci - €6,5M (€1,5M over installments) - to Liverpool - the English club enquired about Leo, and I was more than happy to sell the snake. Also freeing up €225k p/w from wage budget, but as mentioned he'll stay in the team till the end of the season
Adrien Rabiot - €40,5M (€20M over installments) - to Man Utd - what an irony to what happened in real life, but yeah really good offer in my opinion and the Frenchman will join United in the summer
Danilo - €42,5M (€12,5M over installments) - to Tottenham - again an offer I couldnt resist. the ageing Brazilian has been an imporant puzzle of my team, but this as Tottenham agreed to leave Danilo at my club till the end of the season, I've accepted

This unconventional method of selling left me with a really nice budget to use - €60M in the bank, and I'll try to secure Szoboszlai for the summer :cool:

Halfway through the season I think, I'm doing pretty fine with 45 points after 19 games, had an embarassing lose vs Fiorentina 1-3 (A) and vs.... Salernitana (A) 0-2 after an early red card for us. But still 45pts sounds good to me, but Milan are just crazy, winning every single game - they've only lost to me 1-2 and early into the season vs Atalanta and apart from that they're perfect! 51 pts, crazy.

Champions League, I've finished 2nd behind PSG - lost a game to Benfica in the 1st fixture (1-2) which cost me the ability to fight for the first place, after two draws vs PSG. This makes us face an extremely tough opponent in the first knockout stage - Man City.

As I expected I struggle with depth in the team - now I'm working on a loan deal for Carrasco who is transfer listed for Atleti - and seems that he could be a solid rotation player. Suprisingly I've also unsettled Szoboszlai, but unlikely I'll gather the money during winter transfer window to acquire him.

Started my season as Juventus with the newest fmpr0 update.

Transfers In:

Gianluca Scalvini - €5M from Atalanta - Big hopes for the young player, scouts rating him for 4,5 stars - hopefully a long term partnership with Bremer
Tommaso Pobega - €13M (€5M upfront and €8M over 3 intallements) + possible €2,5M (after 50 league games) - really happy to bolster up our Italian lineup - as there's a bug in the fmpr0 update that I cannot register Paredes (additional non-EU player), I badly needed an additional player for my midfield, Milan wanted to negotiate with reasonable pricing on the young Italian, so I went for it.

Transfers Out:

Felix Correira - €2,7M (rising to €3,5M) to Porto - doesn't look like he'll develop into a world class player, and Porto came with a good offer so I sold him.
Some other youngsters which I didnt rate highly - for a total of around €1,2M
Kaio Jorge - loan to D. Moscow - with Milik in the rotation on the ST position, I wouldn't find enough time for the Brazilian so I've decided to loan him out.

Main targets for the next transfer windows would probably be the AML position, Di Maria will be getting older and I'll want to move Chiesa back to AMR. I'm eyeing Dominik Szoboszlai or Gio Reyna - but we'll see, both most likely will be very very pricey. I'll look also for strengthening the left back position - but I cannot recon any candidates as of yet. I'll also try to bring the young Carnesecchi.

So far a good start to the season with a win over Monza at home (5-1), and 3-1 away over Cremonese, and Pogba being really on fire in those games, 3 goals from the midfield.

Have a look at Giorgio Scalvini from Atalanta - I bought him in season 3 for like €3,5M - and he's looking like an awesome player -for lower tier team he would be an incredible signing and even for Champions League clubs he seems like a really solid pick, Filipo Ranocchia and Nicolo Fagioli from Juve U-20 also seem really good prospects, and should be available fairly cheap. Matteo Gabbia has been available really cheap from Milan, less than €2M and he should also be a really solid CB. Saw Pietro Pellegri been available for loan almost every season. Salcedo and Esposito are back at Inter in season 2 and available for loan. So I guess you need to really to watch other clubs, I saw that sometimes the opposition agreed to some silly low options to buy for other clubs in loan deals, so maybe that would be an option to try too.

The 2nd season summer transfer window is getting crazy

A tough season behind, but it was a very fun season, tight at the top and there was fight till the last fixture.

Seria A - we've won the league 4points clear of Inter, but on 37th fixture it was only 1point between us! I was playing Hellas Verona at home, while Inter had a home game vs Sassuolo. After a goaless first half in my game I was pretty nervous, but we managed to pull off a 2-0 win in the end, to learn that Sassuolo actually has beaten Inter 0-1. We were a real offensive threat through the season banging 103 goals - a bit inflated by some crazy games like 7-1 vs Sampdoria (In this years FM I'm having like those games where I bang like immense ammount of goals and then I go Genoa away to get a 0-0 :D)

Champions League - After winning the group stage, we have faced Wolfsburg in the first knockout stage winning quite easy 2-1(A) and 4-1(H). Quarter finals we've met Real Madrid, which I kinda feared but wasn't really a case in reality. We've won 2-1 away, after Rabiots 91st minute goal, and fully controlled the game at home winning 3-0. In the semi finals we've met Liverpool, where it was the end of the road. Loosing 0-1 at Anfield and a 0-0 at home saw us knocked out.

Coppa Italia - After beating Parma in the 1st round, we had a really unlucky draw of playing Milan in the quarter final, and... we were embarassed - loosing 1-4 at San Siro.

Transfers:

My very ambitious plans were verified a bit first with the budget availability - €60M which was okay, but I couldnt afford guys like Milinković Savić. But I've managed to work around, which in fact I think will keep the team more "healthy" budget wise. Chiellini retired with the end of the season, which meant I will need a new starter CB. And I knew I will need more depth into the team - last season proved there were periods in which I was really struggeling with players condition, espescially November-December and April were hard, as there was not enough rotation in the team.

Transfers In:

To start things off - I've secured Kessie and Kamara on free transfers, the first one to become my starter DM, and Kamara will strengthen the backup of CB position additionaly covering DM if needed. Castrovilli was my first transfer actually - I've had a deal of €15,5M accepted way back in around November but agreed to have the transfer finalised at the end of the season. Next Italian player I've brought was Esposito for €19M, I've scouted him when he still was at Basel, and actually Inter wanted to discuss terms which got me surprised, the scouts reported a fee of €13M-€18M which we settled on the high end, but I'm really happy with this one! A great rotation for Vlahović. Next on the line is Lacroix, as I mentioned Chiellini retired, Gianluca Mancini went to Newcastle, Bastoni is out of reach for Juve, so as there werent any Italian options I paid a whooping €40M for Lacroix (which was his release clausule), but I'm already really happy with him, a great partnership with De Ligt in the building process! And when I thought the transfer window is done, I reviewed the team once again, and saw I'm still lacking a bit of rotation on the wings, Asensio was transfer listed, was willing to accept a squad player role, with not a really high contract, I felt it's a really good deal here.

I've also had a deal agreed for Calafiori who I really wanted to bring into the team, as he looks like a really good prospect (one of the few Italian ones :P), fee agreed (€25M some of it in installments and bonuses), contract agreed, and... he failed the medicals :rolleyes: he was injured (3months) at the time and nothing I could do about... I would have still wanted him to join, but game decided for me that no you can't have him . Afterwards he signed a new deal and I doubt I will be able to approach with a reasonable deal now. So most likely I will be now turning towards a big transfer for the LB position in the summer - I'm eyeing Theo Hernandez but I'm not sure if I will want to splash big. Wanted Windal but apparently first he doesnt want to leave AZ, and 2ndly they ask for €53M (dunno why but buying someone off Eredivisie teams seems like impossible in FM, always max fees), Ajax asked for €65M for Tagliafico :eek: .

Transfer Outs:

Total: €101M

As of outs, a significant sell was Rabiot, who got offloaded to Madrid for €49,5M, Mandragora was a fixed fee so nothing to talk here. Pjaca, Frabotta and Ramsey (not on screenshot) happy that I at least got some money off them as they were dead wood. Rugani was not needed after I got Kamara to the rotation so also good that I got money off him. And another significant out was Demiral to Bayern for €31M - Atalanta didnt buy him out (which is a stupid FM thing :P, this would never happen IRL, but also Romero came back to them as Tottenham didnt buy him out :facepalm: ). Anyways I felt Demiral won't be needed with all the players I brought in, he had a really big role in the team, and I knew this will lead to unhappines and that I would have to sell him anyway, on the bright side he seems to join the best team in my save. Also Cuadrado left me at the end of his contract to join Real Madrid.

World:

Some teams became crazy in my save City looks just woah with Haaland, but Bayern became just a monster!

Top transfers:

And look what has Bayern done :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: :eek: just crazy fire power in that team. Mbappe Lewandowki Sane Gnabry Gabriel Jesus Szoboszolai Muller Coman too much talent to fit in one team.

Season 2

This is the team to enter the 2nd season, Im really happy with the team and look forward, I think a better LB would make this team complete for the moment. Castrovilli is a starter now, but Rovella seems to be pushing that spot really hard, and I expect him to take the starter role very fast. And Chiesa is the new number 10 :cool:

Okay so a fresh start in Turin, in the re-build process. Decided to twist some things at the start, despite that not being the most realistic thing probably, but let's have fun with the game

Transfers In:

- Jamal Musiala - €53M (+possible €7M in bonuses) from Bayern Munich

- Emil Audero - €2.5M from Sampdoria

Transfers Out:

- Paulo Dybala - €50M to Man City

- Mattia Perin - €3M to Dinamo Kiev

- Mattia De Sciglio - €7.5M to Roma

Dybala didnt want to talk about contract, so I decided to twist things up, and not take chances in bids in January so I offloaded him for really good money, and replaced him with someone that might not be a ready product just now, but he will be in a year or two, and I never had Musiala on FM so something new for me ;). The rest is making the wage budget a bit more healthy and as Roma sold Karsdrop to Real Madrid, they offered decent money. And the classic Perin - Audero twist ;).

Started the season really well with 5 wins and a draw in the first 6. With an incredible result vs Inter at home 5-0 victory - but to be fair they had Lautaro sent off in the 20' minute, while we were leading 1-0. Vlahović is on fire, Chiesa is a great support for him, and Musiala is getting there. Surprisingly Rabiot is one of my best performers (well F logic I guess :D). Looking forward for what's to come. Targets for the summer: Milinkovic-Savic, Castrovilli, Calafiori, and wing backup. We'll see if I can make it

Either before you start a save with the db Editor, or when running an active save - through the in-game editor (you'd have to pay extra).

Transfer window update - Start of Season 3

Transfers In:

Theo Hernandez - €70M from AC Milan - after loosing Alex Sandro I really wanted to bring a hot name to the team to strengthen the left side, Theo ticked all the boxes. Did cost me a fortune but I hope it will be way worth it
Luis Diaz - €30M from Porto - a transfer that was not planned, last season I felt Im struggeling on the wings when Chiesa is not available, Diaz was transfer listed for a decent price, he was asking for a squad player status so I felt its a good deal
Nathan Ake - €7.5M from City - a rotation CB on a cheap, who looks good for the job, additionaly covering the LB spot
Bryan Cristante - €44M from Rome - another unplanned transfer, but after I got the offer for Arthur which I felt is way too good, I wanted to get another Italian, I had a deal agreed €10M + Bernardeschi for Cristante, but Federico rejected Rome and I had to pay some big money

Transfers Out:

Merih Demiral - €39M to City - Demiral wasnt starting for me, he was unhappy so I decided to cash in City came with a good offer which I felt is good
Arthur - €55M to City - Arthur was another of my players that has not really started for me - he was a decent backup but also nothing very special. Felt the offer is too good to decline so he packed his bags heading to Manchester.
Alex Sandro €0 to Inter - he accepted their contract offer rejecting mine

On the last day I've gotten a great offer for Danilo €29M from Real Madrid, but there was no time to find a replacement so I've rejected.

The Team:

I feel like Im having a crazy good team now, of course the goal now is to win the CL, Liverpool seem to be the biggest challenge, after their win last season they even got better after buying Haaland their team looks crazy. Anyway this are the guys who will challenge for the trophy

Season 2 report

Serie A

We've taken the league with storm beating all the domestic records basically, even though Inter and Lazio played crazy good seasons I've been winning all the games really, with great comebacks when loosing and stuff crazy, everything just worked. Mbappe scored 30 in 26, but that was just the 3rd result in the league! Lautaro had 32 and Immobile scored... 39 :eek:

Champions League

The CL group stage went easy with comfortably winning all the games in the groups v Monaco, Barcelona and Salzburg

First knockout stage vs Ajax - comfortable wins 3-1(A) and 3-0(H) secured the win.

Quarter final vs Liverpool

Well let the screenshot speak for itself:

We've lost 1-3, with two red cards from Locatelli and Chiesa...

We've had a 1-1 draw at home which got us out of the cup. Liverpool went to eventually win the whole tournament beating Bayern 5-0 in the final.

Coppa Italia

As a consolidation we've managed to win the Coppa beating Ascoli, Torino, Napoli and Lazio who were having a crazy good season.
