  1. Sorry not updated for a bit, not really had a chance to play over the last week.

So we're finally out of the drop zone after going 5 games unbeaten, four wins and a draw. Beating top of the table Bournemouth at home and getting a creditable draw against 3rd place Blackburn.

Got my first crop of youths come through, four of which I have offered contracts to straight away, they look amazing. I'll take some screenshots of them soon.

Feeling pretty confident of staying up now. Also got 500k from City as part of the Delap deal, so I'm starting to look for some first season bargains if anyone knows any?

Excellent, @Joyboy. and thanks for the updates. I assume you’re using the Winter Update with injuries removed using the pre-game Editor, effectively giving you the same squad as Wayne Rooney had at the end of the January 2022 transfer window in real-life.

Yes, the winter update with the injuries removed.

Good start. Out of interest, who are the young players you’ve promoted who are impressing you so far?

Duncan and Soloman look really impressive. Duncan has scored 3 in 4 appearances.

Made one signing in Jerome Sinclare on a free, also let Kazim-Richards go back to Turkey on a free.

  3. So I've started my Derby save and removed the injuries as Stuniverse advised.

Really enjoying the challenge. First game we beat Huddersfield 6-0 at home and then knocked Oxford out of the league cup, Bobby Duncan getting a brace. I've moved the best players from the u23's to the first team to fill the squad out, we seem to have some decent youngsters in the U23 squad so worth a look.

Also have rumours of a takeover, so hopefully by the next transfer window I can start changing the squad about.

Will update again once i'm further into the season.

I created a couple DDT files a few versions ago and they have been a great help to me in saves anywhere in the world. Tested in BETA and they work again.

Basically they load players from (1) ALL clubs in the world and (2) ALL nations. This allows you to start a save with over 400k players from all over the world. I don't have a super computer, but they don't compromise game speed as far as I've realized, maybe they just make the player search bar results take a while, but oh well.

You need a new save, but before, they should go under: /Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steam/steamapps/common/Football Manager 2022/database/data/db/[gameversionfolder]/ddt   (just create last folder if you dont have it).

Forgive me if they are not meant to be shared here, dont wanna cause any issues.

    AllClubs.ddt 454.15 kB · 59 downloads AllNations.ddt 6.7 kB · 56 downloads

Hi, thanks for this. Could anyone tell me where to put this? Only that path doesn't seem to work for me. :)

I'm gonna go with a West Ham save this year...

No idea who to sign, but I want The Hammers back in Europe, even if it's the EC2.

    Btw, stevemc, what's the skin?

I've started the same save, will update at the end of the first transfer window but im looking to do a fair bit of buying and selling. The squad is far to old.

  6. Have posted about this in the Ipswich thread, not much response in there. :D

So after a huge rebuild being done in my first season at Ipswich and winning the league and the JP cup West ham have come in for me, literally the only team I would leave Town for at the moment. A hefty £40m budget to rebuild them with and no huge pressure.

Cant decide what to do, its very tempting when looking at the project that you could make of the club and also being a supporter.

  7. Well coming to the end of my first season in charge, after starting a complete rebuild of Ipswich we have had an amazing season which puts us 20 points clear in the league and winning the JP cup.

Then Moyes get the tin tact at West Ham and they show an interest in me, literally the only job at the moment I would leave Town for, they have now put Stuart Pearce in charge till the end of the season.

I'm unsure if they have someone lined up or they will make a decision at the end of the season.

  8. Monaco have accepted a loan offer for Pellegri, he should make his mind up n the next couple of days. I've also identified Andre Green on a free, hopefully I can set u a deal for him.

Still feel there's quite a bit of deadwood to shift from the side though, so will be looking to offload a few more players so I can get the sort of side I want at Ipswich.

  9. So I've set up deals to let Judge and Huws go to the MLS, had to accept giving Judge a £65k pay off for him to leave but this should give me about £500k for transfers and free up £12k a week in wages. Now I'm going to hunt down some bargains. New GK looks a must.

I've also asked the board for a senior affiliate.
