I would guess that in game they have designed the game to be blind to gender so there is no need for a filter male/female as their effectiveness will be the same.

Best way to reduce fatigue is rest the player from training after a match or even send them on holiday, very useful if you're in pre-season and they have come back from an international tournament.

I assume they are being re-scouted because they fall under one of your Recruitment focuses, if you add the players to the Not Interested list, does that help?
