  1. Is it possible to find all players in a list which have any 'media comprasion' in profile? Many thanks in advance!
  2. As you know every club has Youth Importance value. Is it pernament or linked to a board? It exists in stadium menu in pre-game editor Many thanks in advance!
  3. It was a really great save! Thank you very much, it was very interesting. I liked the part about the Urals most of all, and of course, Krasnodar. I also note you use very interesting methods, and the story is so inspiring that I started the new save a few months ago: Uruguay - Chile- Colombia - Argentina. Often in various situations during the save, I wonder - "Interesting moment, but what would Ben do here"? I have already been successful with such rare tactics for me as 4222 (narrow), 4231 with two DM and enganche, 4312 with trequartista and 523 with AWM and trequartista as central forward. Your influence is huge
  4. Ben, if you don't mind, after creating a new topic, please drop the link to this thread. Thanks in advance!
  5. I used this: IW(a) - PF(a) - IF(s) CM(a) - DLP(s) WB(s) - WB(a) CB(d) - CB(d) - WCB(s) Actually I tried different CM options, like BBM(s)-CAR(s), BWM(d) - BBM(s) and other, but I agree MEZ is not good idea for this.
  6. My suggestion is direct football. Don't use play out of defence and distribute to CBs. I use 5221 and gk long shots are fine. In transition - counter. But disable it if you need to keep score. No higher lines and offside trap Attacking mentality (or balanced + direct passing and mb higher tempo) marking don't sure about more pressing, it needs to check visual Your players are poor. This tactic is not best for possession. AF(a)-DLF(a) - both strikers in attacking duties for counter There is a lot of options in CM zone. Depends of your players. But I don't understand CAR role and don't use this. MEZ(s)-DLP(d)-CM(s) for example WB(a) - WB(a) - both laterals are working for wide. Left is higher MEZ and they create diagonal option for passing. Second is higher CM(s) and around of DLF(a) so there is different interaction. WCB(d)-CB-CB I don't sure about two WCB. It's riskly. There is WCB is cover for MEZ zone. ============ Right wing of your tactic is very riskly. WCB(s) = Azpilicueta in Conte times + CWB(a). CAR is not enough to cover this zone imo. CM(a) is blocked by DLF(s) isn't? Possibly you need to use 5212 if you feel your CMs are not enough support attacks Cheers!
  7. I use 2 DM, classic stopper DM(d) and Vol(s) as deep supporter
  8. Yeah looks like 4231 is best option for EG, because he needs players around to be effective
  9. He may not have been the first, but I saw this idea from Guardiola in Bayern Munich. Later, he applied the same idea in Man City, but only in friendly games (as far as I remember). The point is that he plays without LB, and Alaba, as the CB, joins the attacks on the right flank. Could you help to replicate this in FM22 please? For now main idea is exists, but results are poor: Many thanks in advance!
  10. I want to play 5212 where main role is Enganche. Could you advise me about duties which I marked as (?) please? PF(a) DLF(a) EG(s) MEZ(?) BBM(s) WB(?) WB(?) WCB(s) - CB(d) - CB(d) Feel free to write about other roles/duties too, I feel that MEZ needs as wide player to advanced option for Enganche. But confused about duties and interaction of WB(s/a) and MEZ(s/a) in this context Many thanks in advance!
  11. Just finished season in Chile, points were deducted only from my team don't sure how it happens, because other team don't have so many u21 too
  12. I see the same things, and sometimes it frustrated. But simulation of football including bad decisions imo. And many factors could be in your case. I had the player which has strong attributes, but he just didn't score for me, despite other strikers did. I sold him and he started to scores in new club again. Just didn't feel fine in my tactic or something. In different situation new board bought for me two players as election promise. Nice players... which I had no idea how to use. My point - bad transfer decisions is part of this world. AI squad choice is not perfect, but context is a key too
  13. Good investigation with the numbers. I like that players in 34 years are not useless, but balance for FM23 between FM21 fast stages and FM22 slow stages. Newgens much better balanced in last ('purple') editions, so I'm feeling positive
  14. imo the best = the most corrected and balanced me , able to be effective in any style. Issue for me that fm21 is the best by interface. I tried to play old editions and this is impossible without new features like select squad for next game only, etc from fm21. Also fm21 is pretty good in ai management. In compare of fm17-18 at least. In memorable terms fm08 and fm10 the best for me, because it was interesting to play without frustration. I felt control of own tactic and could play in this like sandbox.
  15. Short story about how Director of Football came in football irl
  16. Wisdom tell us - if you cultivate a garden on the advice of a neighbor, then in the end it will be your neighbor's garden, not yours. I just warned and expressed my opinion. Good luck with the new club! Thanks for the save in Russia, it was very interesting to read about the home league from this angle
  17. If we start from the concept of the save, which is called Matryoshka, then Germany and Russia are closely connected. In Russia there is such a phenomenon as the Volga Germans, many Russians live in Germany. Regarding google, top5 German places where Russian are live: Berlin Munich Augsburg Frankfurt Bayreuth () Mb this info will helpful to choose next club upd - Schalke and Zenit had a relationship (sport connection to choose), also Russians live in Leipzig, as in East Germany in general.
  18. Well I did it a lot of times. Actually 75% of my journeyman saves started in Netherlands D2. My newbie mistake was to agree a first offer. I moved to a club and after season or two started to regret. Sometimes started to regret after a weeks Are you sure your youngsters will loyal for Groningen in next few seasons? What about their transfers in last years? Bundesliga is very interesting. I understand even this choice despite this is second table half: Also German newgens are the best by YR in Europe as I remember I almost sure you will win Eredevise by Groningen after few seasons. The question is it worth it?
  19. Strange choice for me. You have experience winning national leagues. Top 3 or Top 5 at least and 'rich' finance status in Netherlands imo. Top-half club for Top-4 leagues. As an exception, I would consider a club from the second half of the top 4 if it is an ambitious project with infrastructure and finances. RPL foreign limit is tired anyone
  20. Irtysh is Siberian club from a big city Omsk, named as river. This is just a local team from lower divisions. Probably club supporter would say more, but I in the same position as you As I know, hockey is more popular in Siberia. They support football clubs too, but I don’t remember when these clubs were a significant force even on the scale of the RPL. Chayka from a small village Peschanokopskoye near Rostov. It's pretty old, founded in the early XIX century. The founder and president of the club is Rostov businessman Andrey Chaika, a former CSKA Moscow football player who finished career by injury. In parallel with his own business, in 1997 he founded the Chaika football club in his native village of Peschanokopskoe. Founded in 1997, last season finished in 3th place in D3. So far so good, the club has even considered registering an understudy team (Chaika 2 I mean). Believe it or not, this is the first time I've heard about the Dynamo Makhachkala club, although it turns out that it was founded in the 1920s. It was closed in 2007, but refounded in 2021 on base of FC Makhachkala (2019-2021). There is no links for Anji, two separate clubs. For now Anji has another administrative troubles, but as I understoond your point - no, there is no a shift in balance that doesn't represent real life. Finally, Sochi. This club is treated very condescendingly and arrogantly, including me, but they really built up power from year to year. Largely thanks to Zenit, who gave them players on loan. There was even a joke that Sochi is Zenit-3. To which Zenit fans replied that Zenit's farm was not Sochi, but Spartak. Usual highly intelligent fan teasing. One way or another, the success of Sochi is the success of Vladimir Fedotov. By the way, who is he training in your save right now? He created a good team in Orenburg FC (2017-2019), actually soon after he moved from Orenbugr to Sochi, Orenburg is relegated in D2 again. He left Sochi to join CSKA Moscow after this season. I'm not sure if he would have changed club if there hadn't been a UEFA ban for eurocups. But CSKA brand is better, so in this situation he has no doubt of choice. Not sure about I answered your question, so feel free to clarify
  21. 'Superkubok Rossii' looks creepy for both languages
  22. I visited this forum few times on the week and thought I really miss Ben's regular thread updates With your permission, I will add some content, taking advantage of the moment. Today Spartak won the cup for the first time since 2003. It was really dramatic game, but more than that I wanted to share this video. This is the Russian singer Maxim, who became very popular in the 2000s. She sang romantic songs, but the Ultras of FC Spartak were very fond of her hit, which they began to sing at away games. She was invited to the final to sing this song for Spartak. Looks great, but of course I can't be objective here upd. Waited for better commentators, but only this review version is available. If someone is interesting about game:
  23. Young team is better idea, forsure! Well, it's not very difficult, but more intuitive and comes with experience. Ossetia is a very special region. If only because, unlike most of the mountain peoples of the Caucasus, Ossetians are Orthodox Christians. In football, for unknown reasons, Ossetians give talented players to the Russian Leagues almost every generation. I just mean it happens despite Alania is not rich region. Many local live in mountian villages, so there is not perfect place for football academies. I don't follow new gens, the last known to me is Alan Dzagoev, if we talking about the best. And Alania one of regional clubs who won the league, in middle of 1990s. Without context, it is very difficult to distinguish an Ossetian surname from a Russian one. Since most Ossetian surnames end in -ev, many Russian surnames do too. For example Leontjev is clear Russian surname, but Shamil is Caucasian Muslim name. Here SI miscalculated. I don't see Osettians in main team by names. Mb Musalov , but not sure. But in young team are Erik Gazzaev, Soslan Pukhaev absolutely local Alania players. Ossetian surnames are sound more sharp. In fact, FM started to be better for regional names in last editions, less random. Before it was crazy sometimes
  24. Could you share screen of Alania teamlist? Very interesting to see how many Ossetian surnames there is.
