I'm happy with the way FM looks, the match engine can always be improved but the overall look isnt an issue for me. Some people should just watch football as it seems that is what they want.

If your team is winning and meeting the objectives, I probably wouldn't stress over a few ratings that are lower than the others. But if you want to understand those lower ratings a bit more, then yeah - go to the tactics forum and ask away.
It was in relation to my other players who are averaging 7.4 and higher. If you guys say those ratings are above average then thats good enough for me, thanks for the replies.

I have amazing mifielders but they almost always play rubbish. They usually finish the season about 6.98 rating and they often have games of 6.3 and 6.4 ratings this is in a winning team. This seems a problem since the update it was not something i noticed before. It seems like every update one position always has to play poor for some reason.

Its ok i managed to find it. Its in advice and reports and if you hover over provides youth development information it says this is who brings in the youth intake. It seems a bit hidden away for me and should be in a category on its own as this doesnt really relate to reports imo. Hope this helps someone if they are looking for this as i thought for a couple of seasons my HOYD was bringing in my youth and it has been my DOF

I have an amazing head of youth development but it seems my director of football who is dealing with my youth intake and each intake i get is terrible. They are all casual or unambitious and have extremely low determination of 2 and 3. My head of youth is model citizen with nearly 20 in most stats so i would like him to deal with my intake. Can someone tell me how i change this

So under Germany - Overview - Season Summary you will find a list of all the teams promoted/relegated and so on. The promotions from non league to the third division happen on a specific date and are random.
So at the end of your next season, just make regular saves and look at the season summary constantly, once it updates reload your latest save and then just reload a date before the season update and every time the season update date passes the newly promoted sides are rerolled. Just keep reloading until hopefully HSV II are promoted to the third division some point. It's a bit cheesy, but the only alternative is to completely restart and use an German lower league DB that gives you access to the 4th division.

If a player comes to complaining he would like to go on loan there is no option to agree to loan him out, i can make promises to play or say he is being unprofessional, needed for backup or say i think he should go for good and be sold but there is no option to actually agree to loan him out which is utterly bizarre and makes zero sense.

Ah thats annoying. It seems totally pointless having a second or third team, what is their purpose if they dont even play games.

Hello people can anyone help me, i took over hamburg after having managed bolton and my second and third teams dont have any fixtures to play so i cant develop any of my players. I am into my second season after getting hamburg promoted. Any help would be appreciated.

I am Bolton and im playing in the championship and i cant seem to sign anyone. Players turning me down left and right and going to teams in league one and two. A player turned down a 4k contract with me for a trial with a league two team, that seems madness. Im finding it really difficult to sign any players and i cant imagine many players choosing league one teams and defo not league 2 over a championship team.

- Playing time is often limited to 'squad player', when selecting a bigger role the loan offer will be rejected. Why do none of the teams want to play this player more often when he is clearly better than other Eredivisie players?
- The wage percentages are more often than not restricted to 0%. Seems like a bug.
- I have yet to see any team offer more than 50k per week for any player, whilst I remember loaning out players for ten times this amount in previous editions.
The loan system is broken. I can't even get money for top tier premier League players, when I ask for a fee they reduce the playing time to fringe player and then offer even less money. Don't know why si won't just tell us about they have change it on there is an issue, there clearly is.

Considering Oddei's wages alone, not every club can afford to loan him in January. When I offered him out for loan, there are 4 offers on the table, so it seems okay.

The club's who are interested could afford the wage and fee no problem eg man utd. Also oddei was just an example I can't get loan fees for any of my wonderkids or well developed youngsters. It just seems like si has drastically reduced out ability to receive loan fees so we cant loan loads of players and then make money from them. If this is the case just say so. There is a massive difference in loans from last year's edition.

Same one of my players holds me in the highest regard and im one of his favourite personnel but he has has a negative happiness now for ages saying: has not strong feelings about the squads strong support for the manager which remains at an excellent level. So annoying and makes no sense.

Some of my youth players who have been brought into my first team have negatives that say they are failing to connect with another player due to their different levels of professionalism. Does any one have any idea how i go about sorting this issue out. I would like to fix it as these players are destined for my first team for many years and so is the player who they dont seem to like so any help would be appreciated.

Also having issues selling players since the update. I couldnt even sell Arezo for 20 million. Teams offering me 6 million for him. Also having trouble selling Gaetano Castrovilli hes a world class player only asking for £50 inter will only bid 37.5 and roma offered me the £50m and thats the only offer i have had for him, ive had a few offers for him so you could maybe let that one go but i have had no bids for any of my players who are not transfer listed, not even on offer and my team is full of stars and wonderkids.

The loan system is messed up. Teams refuse to pay any money for players and im talking about quality wonderkids or full time players, epl teams or ligue one or serie a refusing to pay for players wages. Another issue is they offer a set amount and you ask for more then they lower the amount from their original offer and then also lower the players agreed playing time which makes absolutely zero sense.

Is any one else having issues when loaning players. The teams never want to pay any money to loan players and im not just talking about youth players im talking about first team players who are good players, also they point blank refuse to give you money for unused monthly, i know not every team would want to pay this but not all teams, they usually offer peanuts and i will not budge. Also when they offer you an amount and you try to negotiate instead of upping their offer to improve it they actually lower their offer and this does not make sense.

For me the biggest issue is that players dont develop much after 24 which is nonsense. It ruins a big part of the game for me and i wont touch a player near this age if he has a decent bit of developing still to do, which is just absurd.
