  1. This game is so stupid.......

     

    Win 9-1 the first leg of UCL Semi finals.

    Start loosing on the second and you cant even push your players to play, as they think they still winning big......

    proceed to loose the match 4-1 while your players just display a lack of wanting to play....

    but you can't say anything bad to them or they'll be overwelmed.................

     

    whoever decided 2 legs should count as 1 match hopefully not in charge of the same things for next version.,.....

    look at it this way; if youre up 3-0 it means youre being fairly dominant, due to the score the other team is likely to go attack, if u sit back and defend youre allowing them to make it 3-1, maybe 3-2, and get in trouble. But if you keep attacking them, they may get 1 on you, but due to pushing up desperately, youll have spaces and probably score again too. Before you know it its 4-1, late in the game, thats when u time waste and go defensive 😉

    I think those names should've been changed a long time ago. I don't think it means go defensive or attacking. Feels like more of a how much risk the players will take, and how much numbers they will commit to an attack.

    For example, as Arsenal I'm playing in Attacking. That works well, but against teams like City, I get dominated, and it's when I change to very attacking that I regain control of the match, cause the team gets on the ball more. Against weaker opponents, I usually drop to positive.

    What I usually do is change between "mentalities" until match higlights seem more in my favor, and match momentum graph is on my favor as well.

     

    When I want to go defensive, I keep the "mentality" and drop the press and defensive line, and remove the counter press

It was likely a very cheap feature to implement, also with little impact to QA.  Or maybe it was someone's intern project.

    Either way, I don't believe some other feature was deprioritized because of it.

    I am just hitting the Champions League games in the first season. Group is Bayern, Arsenal, Crvena zvezda, and Real Sociedad. Should progress, but not a given.

    Is anyone integrating or focusing development on any young players? Nwaneri or others?

    Nwaneri is looking a good sub for Odegaard for me in second season. Reuell Walters was a good rotation player on the first season, but I loaned him to Werder Bremen on the second season so he can get more time

    My only signing so far has been the very popular, Valentin Barco. Such a good player, only 8mill (adjust budgets, can get him with the 5 mill starting balance) can play a few positions and also frees up Zinchenko to play in midfield a bit, and Kiwior in central defense/half back roles. Just gives you more rotation options and flexibility which is nice.

    Reiss Nelson is for some reason, constantly performing incredibly for me. I'm grateful as Saka, like Jesus, just doesn't seem to be performing as well as his attributes indicate he should...

    overall though we have an awesome team in FM24. 

    Bought Osimhen for the second season, and by start of December he already has almost as many goals as Jesus had in the first season. Just get a better Striker. 100M well spent

    8. Mentoring is flawed we are getting clones of players showing similar hidden attributes after being welcomed.

    9. Training and development might be borked while some players are developing well. I have noticed some players hitting their PA in less than 5 seasons. This might be by design as others seem to be a bit slower, but a lot of the gains seem to be focused on mental and physical attributes. There can be drops in technical attributes or stalls there.  A save by me was uploaded and it’s something I am paying a lot of attention to.

    10. I am scoring bangers from outside the area and conceding dodgy throw in goals when up against systems that play wide with wingers. There does seem to be a lot of highlights that start as a throw in and finish as a goal for either me or the AI.

    11. On imported saves you can sometimes end up playing on 3D and both teams have the same coloured jerseys. If you check 2d, the colors are contrasted red and white, On 3D both are white.

    Throw ins are an issue for as long as I can remember. I don't know why there isn't more talk about this. Teams don't know how to defend these. They are more dangerous than corners
