New version is out with some little tweaks. - additional tweaks to Match Rules for Premier League and First League of FBiH - realistic Match rules for First League of RS and B&H Cup (it was wrong in the previous version)

Today's patch fixed the problem for me

A strange thing occurred in my file for the Bosnia & Herzegovina leagues. While trying to Test Competition inside pre-game editor some clubs are going Extinct during the test process. Never saw something like that. I have a division with 16 clubs and was getting an error that there is only 13 clubs found. Got around that by setting a minimum and maximum number of clubs, so verifying got through and in the game, there is no problem. Tested for 200 seasons (yes, 200, something for my YT channel) and there is no problem in the game. Number of 16 clubs stayed for all 200 seasons. But then I wanted to activate lower leagues and then even bigger problem occured - even more clubs dissapears throughout the process. So here is the league from first example. 16 clubs, but only 13 showed in Test. And look at this clubs. The Extinct box is checked, but not by me. It happened after I run the Test. And it's always the same three clubs that are going Extinct no matter how many times I create a new test.

I wouldn't be so sure it's completely a local problem. There's for sure something broken in the game, but it' difficult to discern what triggers that "bug". I installed the game on another PC, fresh installation, everything on C drive (both game and SI folder) and now, I managed to create a new save. But it's not as smooth as we would expect. Every time I go to database settings (small, medium, large) when creating a new save, I can pick between those three options but if I click to Advanced, then the game crashes. So, on a fresh game, I can create a new save, but can't make Advanced Database settings.

Did everything you just described here. Still the same thing.

You wanna say you had the editor data folder moved on different location? Not in Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2024 but on different location? And moving back to original location helped? I tried the same, not working for me.

We activated first two tiers for football in Bosnia & Herzegovina. It includes m:tel Premier League (Tier 1) and two second tier leagues - m:tel First League of Federation B&H and First League of Republic Srpska. The focus was on activating the leagues, so no other changes have been made (such as new players, new clubs, or other similar things). Tested for 10 seasons. No problems found. Tested it again, still crashes between choosing Game Mode (tried with all three Game Modes), and the screen where we can pick Active Leagues. Tried it on both Windows 11/Steam and macOS Sonoma 14.0/Steam. Same result.

I have a competition file (from FM23) that crashed the game while trying to create a new save. Then I removed all competitions form file, so there's no Nation/Competition Rules in it anymore, only data. And the game still crashes.

Would be nice to have an ability to export data from this screen to Web Page or Text File. It is not possible right now

I wanna make different rules for a league depending on the lowest enabled tier. For example, if someone is using my file for Croatian Lower Leagues (9 tiers) and wants to enable highest 4 tiers only (for example) I wanna different rules for that 4th tier. Why do I want that? Well, because there is a problem in 5th tier with promotion playoff (if 5th tier is not enabled), not enough teams gets promoted and that breaks the file. So I wanna different rules if 5th tier is enable and if it is not. I know there is an option within Valid Years for something similar and didn't found out yet how to use that option properly. Or does that option even do what I wanna do.

This request is a cosmetic one but it really bothers me to see my "simulations profile" all over the place in the Hall of Fame section. As a content creator I'm doing a lot of simulations (on holiday) in Football Managers. And that counts towards the Hall of Fame. There should be an option to remove a manager from this section. Or, when creating a new manager in FM we could have a checkbox option, something like "dont't count this manager for the Hall of Fame". I know this is not something that is gonna change the game or make it better, it just bothers my OCD to see a HoF table like this.

This is confusing and a prove that Pre-game editor needs big changes. This my file for Croatian Lower Leagues. There should be 16 teams in thisleague. There are 4 lower leagues and thier champions should play a playoff round and two club should be promoted. When trying to Verify the Rules, I'm getting the error message for wrong number of teams at the end of the first season. Only 14 clubs found. But, if you go to Test Competitions section, there is a different story. Three season test done with no problems. So, I have done something wrong with the rules. Or not? I'm not sure. Editor not sure as well.

I think FM should make a lot of improvements in terms of, let's say, Social Media compatibility. Let me explain what I mean by that. We all want to share something from the game to the social media (or Discord, or whatever). But the most of people accessing social media from thier phones and that makes FM screenshots look terrible. Imagine a 1920x1080 or 2560x1440 screenshot on Facebook or Instagram and then someone trying to see what's on the screenshot, on thier phones. It doesn't look good. My suggestion is to make more tooltips (I don't know what's the name of this thing but on the screenshot you can see what I mean) Make them for matches (something like a window we can see after Instant Result, but accessible for every match anytime), league tables, club info, club vision, schedule, etc... And make possbile to capture tooltip screenshot separately, not having to make screenshot of the entire screen and then having to cut the tooltip from the rest of the screenshot. That's my suggestion. I'm sure there is a lot of thing that can be done to improve this part of the game.

Uploaded editor data for Bosnia & Herzegovina league (BHv1.0.fmf). Tried to upload save game (BiH update.fm) too but got an error while uploading so I don't know if that got through. Some of the users on this forum speculated that the error has something to do with deleting existing Reserve teams but in my update I have not added or deleted any Reserve team. The add-on works fine with basic rules. But after that I converted the file to Advanced to make some additional rules (not related to discipline rules) and then the error appears. Even tried to not change anything after converting to Advanced but the error is still there.

In Croatia, there is a rule that a player has to spend 4 years before his 19th birthday in the country to be considered as a Home Grown players in Domestic League. Would be nice if you can add that option in In-Game editor (4 Years Before 19 or 4 Years Between 0 and 19)

The problem has not been resolved with the patch. Here is description of the problem in a file I have been working on for the Bosnian Football Pyramid.

I have a problem with the Results not be visible in the Club's Histoy. As you can see, I simulated the game to the beginning of the second season but the results form first season are not visible in Club's History. Just to mention... Results are shown in the League History. There is no problem. There are some of settings in the editor. What to do to fix that? Have I forgot something?

I'm trying to activate lower leagues for Croatian Football Pyramid and there is a problem when I wanna make Fixture Rules for each league itself. I know I can make the Rules under Nation Rules and then assign the Rules ID to belonging league. (as show on the two screenshots below) But then there is a problem when I'm trying to do the rules for each league itself under the League Rules. I made the rules for each league (over 70 individual leagues) and this is not working. At least in the way I thought it would work. With this settings what happens in the game is that the game is using the rules of the first tier (specified under Nation Rules, Rules 0). Fourth tier has 5 child competitions with the same Rules so I specified the rules for that tier under Nation Rules and assigned the Rules ID to each child league. And that's ok, That's working. Fifth tier and lower are a bit messy because every child league has its own Fixture Rules so I decided to make that this way. But this is not working. Whan am I missing? It is terrible decision to get rid of this. For us with not as powerful PC's it can take even 45 minutes to one hour to verify complex files (my Croatian database has 9 tiers to verify). And if I have to make even a small change in the database, I have to spend another 45-60 minutes to verify the file to be able to run the addon in the game. I agree with @krlenjushka, you can remove xml files from your customer support, that's ok.

Aha, ok. I need this for Croatia. Maybe later for Bosnia too but Croatia is priority.
