  1. Can someone help me with some info regarding the below scenario for a competition ? Let's say one or 2 teams were excluded from a league division by the FA during the current season. So I want to start the current season with only 14 teams (the default number of teams should be 15) but from next season the league will have 15 teams again. I want to ignore the different number of relegated/promoted number of teams for current season, but I can't find the trick on how to avoid this. The number of teams for the lower level divions is dynamic so I won't have any problems with that. Any help on this ? I can provide the Editor file if needed.
  2. @slevinr87: Thanks for the feedback. I'm talking about the league sorting rules, not the transfer stadings option itself. Actually the League points in previous stage is the 2nd criteria IRL for my competition, so i'm still looking for a solution. I'm not sure how actually the "Half Points" rule works, I can't see it anywhere explained, though.
  3. Hello, Is there any possibility to use some sort of league sorting criteria based on the rounding up of the points from transfer standings option ? Example: A league with 2 stages: regular season and champions play-off, where the teams which qualify for the Champions Play-off use 50% of the points achieved in the regular season with rounding up for the odd amount of points. The first league sorting rule at the end of the Champions Play-off is if the team had or hadn't their half points rounded up, meaning the best team should be the one who didn't benefit of it. Thanks in advance.
  4. @Ed HewisonAwesome job! Thanks for the efforts on this!
  5. As @Bogdy26 states, I can confirm that the coding behind the above rule might be broken or not explained clear enough into text.
  6. I think you can make changes at any time if you access the Squad Registration menu.
  7. The information provided by me wasn't based on speculation. All the info were according to the player's contract with the club. I'd rather take in consideration the legal agreement between the club and the player, instead of various media information. I'll think about making an average of the wage between these periods but it won't make any significant difference. This is the result of the poor management conducted by Muresan. Even the actual management has problems with the termination of this contract.
  8. @grasu: First of all, all the values you see ingame for Romania are gross wages. All the press in Romania is talking about net wages and presenting budgets based on the net value, without taxes. The whole point of including gross wages ingame is to determine the actual expenditure value for clubs. Even if the the taxation laws changed, the clubs pay all the state taxes directly to the state budget and the player gets only the net value of his wage. About Baptista's contract, I know for a fact that his contract length is: 16/08/2018 - 30/06/2020. In his contract he doesn't have any extensions clauses. His wage is different on 2 periods: 16/08/2018 - 31/12/2018 - 15.000 net p/m 01/01/2019 - 30/06/2020 - 51.250 net p/m Unfortunately there isn't any clause available in game to simulate the wage increase like IRL so I decided to use the bigger wage.
  9. For Romania we have something like: 2nd League: 20 Teams - Bottom 5 teams are relegated 3rd League: 5 Groups with 16 team each: Top team is promoted, bottom 4 teams are relegated + the worst 12th place 4th League: 42 Divisions: 1 Team qualifies for Promotion Play-offs => 21 Promotion Play-Offs => 21 Promoted Teams My problem is that I want to control how the 5 Groups from 3rd League sort the teams. After activating the league I noticed that the Regional Division set for each club are not used by the game. After first season, all the relegated and the promoted teams are showing up in the last Group and the remaining teams in 3rd League use the first 4 Groups. These 5 Groups use some regional criteria to sort the teams IRL. Is there a way to force the regionalised groups in 3rd Division ? Can I force certain teams to show up in certain group based on their city/local region ? I don't wanna use dynamic number of teams for each group, each group should have 16 teams for ever. If the FM Editor file helps you, you can find it attached. FMRo Updates.fmf
  10. Most of the rules are, as some are implemented starting with this season, some with next season, or some changed from last season.
  11. @ikendz: actually is not that easy. All the mentioned issues above for Romania come from the ideea that the Romanian FA has different criteria for many rules which are present in FM and this is confusing. Also, many rules are only used in Romania and these cannot be associated with anything already available ingame. The Match Rules are more complex that everybody thinks. Many of these rules would have to be hardcoded as they are not available in FM Editor. Believe me, I've spent the last days trying to improve the Romanian Leagues in terms of realistic Match Rules, but haven't succeded.
  12. Which is the right way to make the game use the Regional Divisions set for teams in the database ? I activated a 3rd level tier league which is a parent competitions for 5 child competitions. These competitions are already in the DB. All the teams in the nation have the Regional Divisions set. Unfortunately, the game doesn't use the Regional Division to sort the teams from 2nd season. Is there any setting which needs to be ticked in Advanced Editor ? Any help on this would be much appreciated. Also, is there a way to limit the number of registered players for First Team which are made available for B/Reserve Team ? In the league mentioned above, some Reserve Teams are playing but these teams are using way to many players registered for the First Team in their matches which cause unrealistic match results.

Romanian Cup Match Rules Well, the main idea of match rules in this competition is that depending on the tier of the teams playing a match, certain match rules apply. If the highest tier of one team or both is Romanian First League, the match rules from Romanian First League must replicate in Romanian Cup. If the highest tier of one team or both is Romanian Second League, , the match rules from Romanian First League must replicate in Romanian Cup. If the highest tier of one team or both is Romanian Third League, teh match rules from Romanian Third League must replicate in Romanian Cup. So, if a First League team plays with a Second League team, the Romanian First League match rules must be applied for both teams playing the match If a First League team plays with a Third League team, the Romanian First League Match rules must be applied for both teams playing the match If a Second League team plays with a Third League team, the Romanian Second League Match rules must be applied for both teams playing the match P.S.: The correct match rules of these leagues (mentioned above) need to be applied 11. Romanian Cup Draws For first 4 rounds, the draws will take in consideration a geographic region criteria to minimize the travel costs for teams, which means the matches will be between teams from same region. Starting with 5th round (round of 32) draw, the competitions has 2 pots: POT A: 16 teams that reached 5th round on last season POT B: all others teams that reached 5th round on current season If a team from pot B eliminate a team from pot A, it will be part of pot A for next phase of competition. Games for first 6th rounds & quarter-finals of the Romanian Cup will be played in only one round, on the pitch of team from the lower league level or lowest-placed in last season (if they play in the same level). 12. Romanian Supercup Match rules must replicate Romanian First League Match Rules. 13. Please note that only the age limit changes each 2 season and these rules do not add-up to the other ones available, they replace the similar rules.
