Everton Season 4 Pretty much the same squad as last year and the same first 11. Had some key injuries and players losing form though, so absolutely flopped in the league. The Champions League too as per- I don't why we're so bad in Europe. Fortunately form did at least pick up towards the end of the season and won the domestic cups. 50 goals for DCL, he's the main reason we achieved anything.

Hah well u can see my tactic in the post. Seems I got very lucky though because i'm having a bit of a mare in this current season (4) with the same team.

Everton Season 3 Retained the league convincingly, with my best ever defensive tactic that got a lot of players performing great. I did put all my eggs in that league basket though, rotated for other comps and flopped hah. I suppose the goal now is to achieve something in Europe. Most of the squad still has potential to grow and I can't foresee changing too much. I mean for this season just gone, the only change in the first 11 was Hickey coming in.

Everton Season 2 There we go, did the double! Pretty lucky only 81 points enough to win the league. Glad to concede the least amount of goals again, would like to challenge Chelsea's insane irl record at some point.

Everton Season 1 Pleased with how the first season went, over performed for sure and that was down to a solid defence. Might have achieved more if DCL has been fit from the start hey, turned some of those draws into wins. Going forward, don't want to change the team too much really, has good potential. With Southampton being relegated, might look to nab JWP to replace an ageing Gueye. I won't sign Fraser permanently and whilst Gray is decent enough, i'd like a better player if possible. Bringing back Gordon at some point is an option.

Finished my 2nd season with Torino= it went really well, way beyond expectations: So yea, won the double! Made a few key additions without spending much and having a pretty reasonable wage budget. Pleased with the solid defence and Schjelderup is just insanely good lol. Average age of the team only 23 too, so much more to come I feel.

Great thread guys. Serie A seemed like a fun, open, competitive league to do a save in and i went for Torino, as they have a promising squad, a few wonderkids and that at the start. Just finished season 1: Pleased with Europa league qualification. Unfortunately a lot of draws cost us top 4 but when the team was firing, picked up some big wins. A lot more to come from this team, there won't be many changes for next season. Just a case of replacing the loan players and some squad players that i think i can replace with better, younger talent.

Downloaded the beta today. Derby has been my first save the past few editions now. Good challenge and nice to have an active thread for the club @Stuniverse 👍

Newcastle Season 2 Won a trophy this season! There we go, a surprise CL win. To be honest, I didn't expect to get past PSG but when I did, the route to the final was fairly soft. In the final Bayern, with Mbappe, fell beneath the might of Callum Wilson hah! It was a good title race but a few too many laboured draws cost me. I think Man Utd bit overrated on this game but whatever. Ronaldo still a monster for them. Apart from the CL win, highlight of the season ^ Some great performances. Onana, Theo Hernandez, Coates, Lamptey and Zagadou all decent additions this year. Wilson and Gravenberch still my main boys though, with Adeyami also coming along nicely. Haven't gone to crazy with the wages either I have some big signings in mind for next season. Hopefully can win the title

Great thread, enjoyed reading. I did avoid doing so before starting my save however, as I didn't want to end up being too influenced by or copying others hah. Even so, seems like I have made signings seen elsewhere here. Newcastle Season 1 A bit up and down to start with but when the team gelled, climbed up the table and finished 3rd. Joint top scorers too! Kind of surprised to get to the League Cup final, often rotated a lot for those games. Did pick a strong team for the final but lost annoyingly to Arsenal FA Cup semi was a good run, lost to a Liverpool team that did The Treble, so no shame there. At least we inflicted a league defeat on them. Calum Wilson such a beast on this game. Gravenberch a great young talent too I feel like I have a team with some great performers at good ages and young talent that will only get better. My aim is to improve the LB, LCB and GK positions and challenge for the title again.
