Can we get an example of this from your save, i.e. the name of the player, the STR and the valuation that's being offered out at?

The one in the screenshot is a good example, but if you open up my save, and offer literally any player for the top end of their value range, they complain every single time.

Aside from this, I can't get a single offer for any of them, no matter how low I take the price. Is this because I had the first transfer window disabled and we are now between it and the next one? I've never had this problem before. I'm hoping when the next window opens if I offer them to clubs again there will finally be some takers.

Basically I can't bring in any new players until I offload some current ones, but trying to sell my players, even when it's for their stated value, all I'm doing is angering my players (even the ones who are happy to leave!) and bringing in no buyers...

  2. It's exhausting that this happens every single time I try to sell a player. Doesn't matter if they want to leave, don't want to leave, or don't care, every single one is outraged that I've the price I've listed them at is the one in their price range.

They say "I can't agree to that number" but they don't need to or have to, it just doesn't make any sense at all.

I can't wrap my head around why this bug has been allowed to remain across multiple editions of the game now unless it's intentional, and if it's intentional I can't wrap my head around why...

Apologies for the slow response with this one but we can't get it to reproduce. When testing, and requesting Staff Meeting Summary to the inbox we get 'Dev. Advice Summary' and Staff Advice Summary' into the inbox over the proceeding days which is the intended behaviour.

If we've misunderstood, let us know and I'll flag it back with the testers again as priority. :)

Perhaps I've been confused by the information arriving in piecemeal over several days.

In regards to the issue originally posted in this thread, do you happen to have a save game from before any of the staff in question signed for the Latvian club you were in charge of. It seems unrealistic for these staff members to be willing to join the Latvian club.

    Cheers,

    Ben

Yes, I think one of these.

Sorry for the slow reply, things got busy and I had to stop playing for a few months!

Completely get the point you're making, but we think it's entirely plausible that a chairperson would know a manager has a reputation for applying for multiple jobs at one time or over the course of a year, and that would potentially be seen as a negative.

This makes sense if you've bounced around one league for a while, or have a high reputation and the media attention that brings. But I'm a nobody manager applying to jobs on the other side of the continent - there's simply no way that some small town second division chairman knows I emailed a resume to someone else several countries away. Nor do I necessarily agree that an unemployed manager applying to multiple jobs would garner a negative reputation in context. Regardless, it should perhaps be toned down a bit.

I don't work in football, but I'm applying for multiple jobs in real life right now, and have done so before. Never once in my actual life has anyone ever asked about or alluded to the implied fact that theirs is not the only opportunity I'm considering as a professional.

It seems in real life, managers having their next job lined up is fairly normal (besides the time Spain sacked theirs for announcing a Real Madrid move). Yet in FM you're trapped in the dubious position, as a manager whose contract is ending, to 1) wait til it expires and resign and maybe miss a good job, 2) resign after the final game and risk the AI thinking you've quit the job prematurely, or 3) apply for jobs before resigning and risk getting rejected because the AI thinks your disloyal. It's a clunky lose-lose-lose scenario with little clarity.

  7. Can someone please advise how to fix or remove this with the editor? Maybe @Kyle Brown?

I was finally able to negotiate the board vision, but they wouldn't remove this, and I was not able to make it a non-negotiable point in a contract discussion either, so I'm well and truly stuck. I'll probably get relegated if I really can't sign any players but those based in Germany. And it just doesn't make sense! I've literally never heard of a club that tries to only sign players from its own league - if they wanted me to only sign German players that would be one thing.

We've tried to replicate it but when offering the players out with a promise of no contribution required, we did receive offers.

That said, we are looking to offer more variable string options as the one size fits all option we seem to have at the moment doesn't come across well in a situation like this. :)

If you're having trouble replicating, try the other players signed in that same window. Of all the players I signed with a promise to loan, only one of them had a single club show interest. Every single one, if offered, would eventually return an inbox message saying "x clubs are not offering because the player doesn't have enough interest" even though none of those clubs showed up as interested, or even worse, the message just said "no clubs think it's a good idea."

This happens even without the promise, too. I'll offer a young player for free, with 0 cost or obligation, and still not a single club will offer. This simply doesn't seem possible or realistic.

  9. The transfer window has now taken place and all 11 of the 11 players I signed are U23. But the board is still blocking the transfer of a cheap backup goalkeeper because... I haven't brought in enough younger players? I signed more young players than every other club in my league signed players total...

Can you please tell me how to delete or override this with the editor?

  10. To add to this, they're blocking the deal because we haven't signed enough young players in line with the club philosophy. I currently have 7 different young players set to join when the next window opens, but they don't seem to realize this. Just ridiculous all around.

    See AUGSBURG 2025-26 tw 2025.11.09.fm.

  11. Now they're even blocking loan offers because we're "underperforming" even though we'e already met or are exceeding expectations in every tournament. Our last two games are a draw and loss to Bayern and Dortmund, so hardly fair to say "our worst run of form," considering. Very frustrating.

    image.png.6fac8d9a81cc938798688b7ee046c097.png

The irony is the loan move I'm trying to make is to replace a player who is unhappy and demanding to leave because of playing time, despite the fact that he is receiving the playing time I have promised him. One bug leads to another and suddenly everything is a mess.
