  1. I've commented on this before in a similar thread but in case SI are actually taking feedback - this new feature is not implemented with enough logic/realism and is save-ending for lots of players. I've seen people argue it happens in real-life and should be in the game, fair enough, but not every takeover and certainly not the horrific deals the AI manages to bring in. Many of us have saves with interesting recruitment strategies, wage structures, youth dev focus, nationality limits etc - this new feature instantly ruins those saves.
  2. You could be right. It's always reported but it's definitely had a spike today, I've seen it discussed in numerous threads on different boards.... alongside increased reports of ME lag.
  3. Yes when a player has the ball at their feet. Like he's knocking it foot to foot very quickly. And it's been in the game for ages and reported on here for ages across hundreds of threads? I can see it just today on several threads across different boards. There's even a page on the general discussion about playing with sound off because of things like this just being a permanent fixture that never gets addressed.
  4. @Jimbokav1971 I'm so glad people with the editor have been looking into this bug. It's major and was happening last year too but I couldn't get any discussion on it. In my example (how I noticed it) it is potentially linked to affiliate clubs as daft as that sounds. At Liverpool I removed all the affiliate clubs as they were useless - this instantly crashes your junior coaching and youth recruitment levels in facilities. It happens every time without fail in FM19 and now FM20. If I get a new affiliate club, the display of my facilities will change again potentially back to the original st
  5. It's one of those things that we all just accept as being part of the engine that has been bad for years. It has been reported 1000 times on here. The sound of a basketball being rapidly bounced on the floor - tap tap tap tap tap tap tap - while on screen the player has taken one touch.
  6. @Josh Brimacombe-Wiard If it helps - the couple of times this has happened to me over the past couple of years is when you react to a red or even game-ending injury by making changes before the engine prompts. By prompt I mean when the game auto-stops and brings up the selection screen for you to make a change. Most of us are way quicker than the prompt (which is maybe too delayed) and can do it ourselves but I've learned to just wait for it as it does break substitutions otherwise. Exactly as happened above.
  7. Player takes one touch - match sound provides the noise of a basketball being speed bounced against the floor. Rapid tap tap tap tap tap. Ball touches are not matched to audio well at all. It's discussed a thousand times on here but it's never gone anywhere unfortunately. Same as the whistle for a corner going before actually winning the corner audio bug - not fixed after years of reports.
  8. Looks like a lighting change is too harsh in the update. Same has happened in my game. My manager face now has strong shadows from a brighter light source but it makes all the colours wash out. My blonde hair blue eyed manager has become a brown clay man. 3D model pops more but looks poor.
  9. @Andrew James I do have a save! The bug is reproducible. It's uploaded as 'amberhelixjuniorcoachingbug'. Steps to reproduce: Load save - note 'Excellent' junior coaching and youth recruitment facilities - cancel link with remaining affiliate club MTK - continue until inbox message confirms cancelled link (1 in-game day) - check facilities. They drop from excellent every time. Exactly the same as last year. Really hope you can fix this, I appreciate these things are complicated.
  10. @Andrew James This is what makes my mind boggle. If you look at the thread (linked above) from last year you had save games, you tested it, even commented on testing it yourself personally Andrew? It was under review. I don't have a save from before this happened but it's been repeatable for two years now. Pic attached.
  11. I reported this last year and it went under review. Remove an affiliate club and the display of your junior coaching and youth recruitment is dropped levels on the facilities page. I just removed Liverpool's affiliates and the levels went from Excellent to Minimal for my facilities. For some reason FM19 bugs aren't accessible to users now but there is a web cached snapshot of the entire bug thread, complete with staff replies (confirming it's a display issue after testing) here: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:4hMYLryQTd8J:https://community.sigames.com/topic/472785-m
  12. Absolutely, I completely agree with you! I just think they have to make engine decisions to keep scorelines in check and the road they went down a couple of years ago now is big problem for them in FM20.
  13. I suspect SI know exactly how to get strikers to move more, receive the ball in space more, finish their one-on-ones, and get wide attackers to stop hitting the side netting and cut easy balls back.... but your scorelines will be 15-14 rugby scores. I think it's all balanced to realistic scorelines and any change to the now obvious 'nerfs' to strikers the past couple of years is not an easy fix that satisfies realistic football simulation. They went down a dead end by killing central forward play a while back - to get it back they now need to walk the knife edge that is touching anything in th
