  1. Pretty much, plus getting all the licensors (K League, J League, and the dozen plus others) to sign it all off.
  2. FM, however, doesn't solely have the European leagues, and have a lot more national leagues and international/continental competitions to take into account than the likes of FIFA.
  3. Have you tried making sure the file is on the actual PC, rather than the cloud? Looks like it's freezing because of trying to download the tactic file.
  4. Yep, this is exactly what I use, but then people who are at high injury risk or higher I'll give an ad hoc rest day to, so they keep fit.
  5. Easily managing to get from National Leagues North or South into the National League proper - it's so easy to mess up one or two games, and then end up either having to fight through play-offs, or just be outside the top teams, and then you have to go through it all over again.
  6. Mostly because they have no interest in getting sued by a club or player, and impacting the goodwill they have with a number of clubs, on top of the likely issues it'd raise with licensing.
  7. There's no chance they'd go back to an old game to fix it, when the AI doesn't use it and all the player needs to do is not use it either.
  8. When it's FIFA that banned performance-based fines for all football carried out under its purview (so all league and international football), yes.
  9. Given this is discussing a third party unofficial app, please go and ask the developer for that app how to resolve issues following updates to the game.
  10. Plus, SI are very approachable about this stuff if it's genuinely seeking to help or highlight an issue. Hell, Chesnoid (Twitch & Youtube streamer) had, in his Cambridge save, all 3 of his goalkeepers get 3 week-3 month injuries in the span of a week in-game, and since this was after the patch to fix GK injuries, he sent his save over to SI to check whether it was just pure bad luck that it'd happened, or if it was an issue of the fix not doing enough. Ended up with him just being unlucky (one got injured in a match, the other got injured in training, and the third had low sharpness and hurt himself in a match), but SI were more than happy to check to ensure it wasn't a bug resurfacing after they thought they'd squashed it, and he doesn't have a super pinky-promise close relationship with SI.
  11. Plus, having seen how critical Rashidi is of tactical and match engine side issues when they seem to be counter to how either the tooltips present them or how they behave IRL, I know full well he isn't wanting to protect SI - he's wanting FM to be better. Part of that is by providing passionate constructive criticism where it is due, and part of that is seeking to highlight where people have things wrong so they're more aware of how the system does work, and therefore aid them in providing better criticism and data to help the game.
  12. Yes - because I'm playing a relatively non-pressing version of the 4-3-3 DM wide, mostly pulling back when out of possession to make it hard for them to advance, and I'm absolutely destroying teams that are doing gegenpressing, because I'm making them do all the work and then catching them on the counter. It's no where near as overpowered as it was previously, and with the injury levels more realistic this year, you soon realise you can't push your players that hard constantly without frequently having them get hurt either in matches or in training.
  13. Are you sure that it's not the maximum amount of non-EU players in the matchday squad that is changing? Because currently, you can have 5 non-EU registered for the team, and only 3 in the matchday squad. It's all part of Spain transitioning to focus more on Spanish/European players, given they previously had a tendency to bring in lots of South American players and, like a number of other European countries, didn't do as great a job with ensuring their own nationals got to a high level to benefit the national team. Even so, it's not a massive issue - you bring in great 18 year old South American players, let them play either in the B team, with another Spanish club, or in your 1st team if they're that good, and after 2 years they'll hopefully take Spanish citizenship and won't count against the limit anymore.
  14. Also, make sure you're not looking at the database version - that's different to the game version.
  15. Just FYI, none of that was changed, it was basically fixes for set pieces and the GK not missing backpasses tonnes. Additionally, there is 0% chance that you have played anywhere near enough games since the patch to be able to categorically say that the entire ME has been changed.
  16. Nope, it was that some newgens were managing to spawn with the same ID number as an existing player, so now all newgens spawn with "r-" in front of their ID so that it doesn't matter if the number itself is the same. Additionally, not sure why it'd take you all night - it'd just be a matter of using Find/Replace to change "graphics/pictures/person/" to "graphics/pictures/person/r-", unless you made the error of just having one huge config file for all faces, for both newgens and existing players, rather than having 1 folder for real player faces and 1 folder for newgen faces.
  17. The Premier League does get congested a lot due to two different cup competitions, European football and the league itself - top clubs, like City, Liverpool, etc, regularly end up with that sort of congestion. I'm not entirely sure what you want SI to do when real life has this happen regularly too.
  18. I've not had any issues with it, even with regular rotating of players.
  19. I'm honestly not seeing these huge scoring games, just teams at the top (for example, in my Liverpool save) getting, on average, 1 concession for every 2 goals they score, which doesn't seem out of the ordinary.
  20. I know there was a disclaimer there following the announcement of the J-League around 20th October, because it wasn't long after that I bought a copy to gift to a friend for their birthday, and it was there then.
  21. No, a patch was released with a number of fixes at 4pm GMT for launch. It obviously hasn't included fixes for every issue raised during Early Access, but for those that were game breaking to ensure people could play from this afternoon. SI have always said they prioritise large save/game breaking issues first, particularly where these impact a lot of people, prior to smaller issues, or those issues that affect a small minority of players.
  22. Because it was continuing the argument. Listing issues so they can be reviewed is fine, people telling the research team that their work is "s**t" and that they are lying about what work they put into the official database isn't. In fact, it's explicitly against the forum rules. So if people can stop making comments towards the research team, and instead indicate what data they believe is wrong, what it should be, and evidence to show why it is wrong, that will go a lot further towards getting any issues resolved.
  23. You guys are all so close to the truth on the official FM crisp. Secret screenshot of a free kick wall in the penalty area:
  24. "In September 2020, the 70th edition of the FIFA Congress approved a rule change that now allows players to switch if they have played no more than three competitive matches at senior level prior to them turning 21 including appearances in FIFA World Cup finals matches or continental finals (e.g. the UEFA European Championship). However, appearing in a tournament qualifier would not count. Furthermore, players who played for their home country but not at senior level, who were under 21 at the time and have since lived in a new country for five years or more can apply for the right to represent their new place of residence. This also applies to players that began living on the territory before the age of 10 for at least three years." So yea, because qualifiers don't count as "competitive matches" at senior level, and the Nations League also doesn't count (only World Cup or Continental Championship finals matches count) he is still eligible to represent Italy if he decided to switch.
