The 4231 is very different to the 4411 despite a lot of the roles being available on both. It looks like you were trying to fix something that wasn't every broken. I'm fairly confident in my understanding of the ME and I would've been very happy sitting at the 3rd. The next step would've been to use the CL money to buy better players before you can challenge for the top.
Like Prolix mentioned i said we went on a 7 match losing streak and we dropped to 9th place. That was the reason.

Well after some time we started playing absolutely horrible. We went on 7 match losing streak and we were sitting in 9th place. So then I did some changes to the tactics in hopes of getting better results but since then nothing works. We are playing absolutely horrible, nothing works. We are currently still in 9th place but we only won 3 times in our last 18 matches!! And media is already telling me that im soon gonna be sacked.
This is the "new" tactic that im using at the moment:
Do you see any flaws? What could I improve?

Honestly im getting to the point where I just want to delete this game and never playing it again. Its very frustrating.

I`m managing Real Betis and Im using 4-4-1-1 as my formation and while we are currently sitting third in the league I feel like we are struggling at times. We just lost 2-1 to Leganes in Copa del ray, got trashed 4-1 by Barcelona and our last 7 wins in the league hasn`t really been convincing as all of them ended in a 1-0 result. It feels like we arent having many good quality chances.
This is how my tactic looks:
When we are playing against top teams like Barcelona i drop my mentalitiy to cautious, when we are the favourites to win I usually use positive mentality and where its kinda even I use balanced mentality.

What do you guys think I should change in my formation?

Nope definitely not easy and Im managing Barcelona. So far Im sitting 5th in the table and second in the UCL group stages. The game is pretty hard.

Hey,
I just started a save with FC Barcelona and we are really struggling. I`m trying to play a possession based football with 4-2-3-1 formation.
This is how my tactic looks:

As you can see we are not doing too well. Any suggestions on what`s wrong with my tactic and what I could improve?

Tbh If I had to choose between better 3d match engine graphics and better player animations I would have choosen better player animations as they are still worse than early fifa/pes games.

Pitch was worn out more badly (near the goal and in local areas of the pitch) the grass had much more details, the lightning and the shadows was much better.
P.S. Frankly speaking, don't look at the text labels. Just look at the graphics and tell - what game looks like a new one and what is an old one - the left or the right one?Obviously the left one is the new one.

I wish they would revamp pass maps. Player dots should be bigger if that player receives the ball more times.

Basicly whole Barcelona squad. They are playing so garbage in the recent times. Well except maybe Ter Stegen and Messi.

Didnt watch a lot, but from what i've seen is practically the same as fm 19 with tiny little tweaks. Meh disappointing, not gonna buy it.

Graphics are fine, but I would very much prefer if they improved animations instead.

I like the new features, but was hoping for match engine animation improvements. But hey at least we got graphic improvements.

I love the new ball physics. There is way more curve which was missing in previous FM editions.

I also wish that when someone receives a yellow, the time is not slowed like in FM18 but it continues normally. That`s really annoying and slows the match quite a lot.

Im a noob at creating tactics and i made a 4-2-3-1 with PSG. I have striker as CF(atk) and AM as attacking midfielder also on attack duty. We are doing well, 9 matches unbeaten and also unbeaten in ucl group stages so far but i mean its PSG and we havent played against any great european top teams. Is having both players on atk mentality an overkill? I like what im seeing from them, am often entering the box but im afraid against top teams they could easily score on the counter. Would dropping attacking midfielder to support duty make my tactics more balanced?
