I dont have the MLS to test, however I removed the salary cap from English Leagues 1 and 2 on a lower league editor I added under advanced rules, then fixture rules, then squad selection rules.

 

Both of these leagues had a wage cap (that is removed in the newest update, but not on my lower league editor) which I have removed and set to 60% of turnover.

If you mean to edit leagues that are already created, like removing the wage cap from the MLS etc. This can be done without having to recreate the entire league.

 

Its under advanced rules then fixture rules, then into the league you want. Then squad selection rules. So you can add salary caps or remove them for any league you want that already exists,

[Add new manager issues]

Hi,

 

When adding a new manager, I am selecting to use the avatar, but the game is picking a photo from my PC and using that instead. It wont let me override it.

The picture is one I used on FM18 last, and has since been deleted from my PC so unsure where it is pulling from.

This save does have a lower league database added. This doesnt happen outside of the lower league database, on a normal save for instance. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

 

I have tried to attached my save game, but it is larger than 9.77mb - I have attached a snipping tool that shows the picture being used and the avatar page tha shows I am not using a generated face from picture

I used to never buy FM until after January because of how many updates they pushed out and also used to only get it every 2 years.

This year I got sucked in by the new changes and wanted it straight away. Mistakes were made. Gone back to 19 until they roll out updates to fix the balls over the top, the penalties and 1v1s. Oh and players never squaring it, ever.

They will get it right, but I will go back to not buying until after January again.

 

Edit: It will be the best one yet once its fixed!
