Over the last few weeks I've rolled back the years and started a San Marino Challenge on FM15 - probably edges it as my favourite of the entire series. No new Champions League or World Cup format, no VAR and you can rattle through seasons at a pace while watching the game. And there are goals - lots and lots of goals...
The San Marino club side start in the game without needing any mods as well, which I always prefer. We're in Serie C/B to start with and the national team are in 209th - and last - in the World Rankings.
I'm coming to the end of my 8th season, and in summary:
2014/2015 - we won the Serie C/B title with 91 points, 17 clear of Pisa in 2nd.
2015/2016 - finished 12th in Serie B.
2016/2017 - finished 7th in Serie B, lost to Avellino in the Playoff Semi-Final on the 'higher ranking progresses' rule after a 1-1 aggregate draw.
2017/2018 - finished 10th in Serie B
2018/2019 - won the Serie B title with 96 points, 20 clear of Cremonese in 2nd.
2019/2020 - finished 8th in Serie A, qualified for Europa League after Napoli (2nd) were disqualified for financial reasons.
2020/2021 - finished 9th in Serie A. Reached Europa League Quarter-Final and lost 6-3 on aggregate to Arsenal. Reached the Coppa Italia Final, losing 5-0 to Napoli, but this qualified us for the Europa League again as they already secured Champions League qualification.
2021/2022 - currently 9th with five games to go, two points off 7th which would see us qualify for the Europa League again. Got knocked out of Europa League in the Last 32 by Valencia, who beat us on away goals after we lost 3-2 at home and won 1-0 in the Mestalla.
Facilities wise, we've just completed an expansion to the San Marino Stadium so it can now hold 8104. We have improved the facilities as much as I can, pretty much yearly since reaching Serie A, and now have Good training and youth facilities, Good junior coaching and Established youth recruitment.
I've seen a marked increase in quality in the San Marino national team. No shocking results yet but in our 2022 World Cup Qualifying Group we managed to beat Liechtenstein 1-0 and only conceded 27 goals in the group as a whole, which included a 7-0 pasting by Austria (so 20 from the other 8). Two of the teenage CBs are expected to reach Serie A quality and I'm very persistent in getting the dual nats to play competitive games at 15/16/17 (as soon as they stop rejecting the call ups!) to secure their futures.
Really fun save atm - looking forward to the autumn 2022 Nations League as we could pick up some good results there! Currently 188th in the world so chipping away - did get a class regen through the Portland Timbers academy which was very left-field!
I play it on a gaming laptop and am signed into the SI forum on my old one so need to transfer the screenshots on to a memory stick to upload them here but when I've made some serious progress I'll go through and post them here.

Would also quite like to start undertaking this challenge - can someone recommend a good Italy file that goes down to Victor San Marino?

From what I understood of the Covid-related measures introduced, the first season would involve leagues starting in September and finishing later in May, before the schedules adapted back to what a standard schedule would look like from the second season onwards.
However, as the manager of Concord Rangers in the Vanarama South, I've been told my players are coming back on the 21st June 2021 for pre-season, which will last for 15 weeks before the season starts at the beginning of October.
Presumably something isn't right here?

Evening guys,
Am fairly new to using the FM Editor. I've used it on previous editions of the game for a bit of fun, but I've never created a league before and I can't for the life of me find where I do that. Can anyone help?

After my Wycombe lads produced another great performance in beating QPR 2-0 away from home, I wanted to praise the defenders for their work in the match. As you can see, I said "I was impressed with your defending, it helped us secure the win", addressed to defensive players. However, upon clicking back onto Individuals to select a couple of other players (obviously am aware of the issue with them all being automatically selected), I noticed that the praise of defenders hadn't included Joe Jacobson - his tick box wasn't greyed out like the GK and the other three defenders (JJ played left-back).
To be clear, Stockdale was in goal and our back four was McCarthy, Knight, Stewart and Jacobson, so they should all be greyed out after I addressed the defenders.

Hi there,
I may be unaware of exactly when the Gestures feature is active in the game - it may just be team talks and press conferences - but it was absent from a job interview with Brechin I just had.
Given its the same structure and format as a press conference, I'm surprised it's not there.

The PA in this case is the same man who welcomes me to the game and suggests topics for the social feed:
You can see my application for the Georgia job above, so in this case I'm not sure it works as intended, as Ant Case was my PA from Day 1 but then welcomes me to the Georgia job when I get it.

Hi there.
There are a few issues that arise when trying to arrange international friendlies as the manager of Georgia.
Firstly, click forward to 2021 in the main Schedule screen and the 1st January 1900 comes up under the Date heading:
Secondly, the dates when I try and arrange a friendly are chronologically out of order:
* The 15th June and the 12th June are the wrong way round. Those dates in particular are for 2021, as you can see on the right hand side of the screen. However, the matches that have been arranged that are visible on the calendar are for 2020.
* Furthermore, the match highlighted in grey on the 6th September (Georgia vs Azerbaijan) is a senior game in the European League and should be coloured blue to match the senior game in the same competition on the 3rd September (at home to Lithuania), rather than highlighted grey as the U21 fixture is - there's an inconsistency here.

Hi there,
I've landed the Georgia job despite having no reputation / experience. They're ranked 90th and have 2* reputation, so this may be a little generous to start with - but this bug in question is that it seems that my Personal Assistant, Ant Case, is also on the board of the Georgia FA as it's him that welcomes me to the setup.
There doesn't seem to be a 'head of the FA' figure in the game, but maybe it could be the current assistant manager or someone else within the setup that welcomes me in this way?

Yep - there's nothing there.
I've subscribed to four files for FM20, and have seen them download properly on the Steam interface:
I've used editor files in previous years on this laptop - a Mac - and not had any issues before.

Hello,
I've downloaded a couple of editor files from the Steam Workshop, but for some reason when I start a new career it tells me there are no custom editor files available. I've done this before on many previous editions of the game - can anyone help? Has the process changed?
To be clear, I've subscribed to the files in the Steam Workshop, reloaded the game, but when starting a new career there's no option to activate the workshop files.
Furthermore, when I've tried to access the Store in-game, it tells me I need to have the 'Allow Steam Overlay' option ticked - but it is already ticked.
Would appreciate some help to see if I'm going wrong somewhere or if anyone else is having these issues?
