  1. When getting a player on loan-back upon selling him, the player is treated like a 'new' player in a lot of scenarios. For example, the player is unregistered as captain/vice-captain and removed from set-piece duties, under dynamics the player is described as 'settling in' etc. However, it is clear the game knows that this is a loan-back and not a new transfer, as under supporter happiness for this transfer, the player only appears as a transfer out (and not a transfer in), with supporters commenting on the fact that they are glad this player was loaned back until the end of the season.
  2. Players joining a club after the save starts via the real world mode will more than likely not receive the correct squad number. For instance, Declan Rice was given the number 12 shirt after signing for Arsenal.
  3. When a defender with significantly lower aerial stats than their peers is present in a defending set pieces (e.g. a U21 CB playing in a friendly amongst the first XI), they will be assigned to stay up by the set piece coach, particularly when the ST is aerially good (and therefore assigned to stay back/mark by the set piece coach). This leads to situations where in the moments after a set piece, the CB has to sprint back into position, which makes no sense. Similarly, sometimes a low-level striker is left as the last man/stay back on an attacking set piece.
