[How to get my DM/CM to run with the ball]

I find that my Midfielders very rairly progress the ball up the pitch by dribling. Like we see a not of midfielders do in real life.

 

Instead they are standing still with the ball, and tring to pass their way up the field.

 

Take the example here:

 

 

He recieves the ball and turn. When he has turned around there are load of space in front of him, 

 

Here he can easily run up the field forcing the AI's DM to make a decision to press him or not, which would create space further up the field. Instead he decides to play to Zertemir, which is actually a pass that move the ball closer to the opponent, with no benefits.

 

 

 

CHistensen is playing as a box to box and is asked to drible more. He even have the preferred move og dribbling through the center of the pitch.

[Can't seem to get strikers and attacking midfielders to press AI Defenders]

I find it ekstrmely har to get my strikers an attacking mids to apply pressure on the AI defenders.

 

It seems like they would rather stay around the AI DM's og CM's, despite having teammates behind them to cover them.

 

Here is my current set up:

 

Trigger pres for the team is set 2 standard, but all players in the frontline have a PI to trigger pres much more often.

 

 

I order to try and "force" my AM's to press the AI CB, i have set up my OI to this:

 

 

However, as you can see it doest help......

Anyone having any fixes ?

[How to make players play backwards and recycle possesion]

I am finding it hard to make my players play the ball back to my CB's to recycle possesion in attack.

 

I find that players are always looking for the forward more risky pass.

 

I have tried pretty muvh everthing. Here is my current tactic.

 

 

In this situation i would love Diomande to play it back to my CB, but despite him being asked to play it short at take fewer risk he goes for the hard pass every time in these situations.

 

Instead of the less risky pass back to my CB

 

 

Any ideas how to fix this?
