FC United Season Review First season in league two and we go straight up via the playoffs, we were fairly steady all year and the standard of opposition didn't seem much better than in the national league. Front three became a front four, I mentioned in my last season review that I only had one decent youngster come through but he had a fantastic season and chipped in with 11 goals at 16 years old ! Fitzmartin is the 16 year old in question and I doubt I will be able to keep hold of him past his current contract but I will certainly try ! The rest of the intake were borderline pub players but I will take a player this good every year over loads of average ones. Ba produced again, great little player Essama had a poor spell mid season and didn't really get firing Krane my captain and longest serving player seemed to find league two easier than the national league. Finances Were basically terrible and I was losing about 60k a month, received about 1m in total after the playoffs/promotion so that put me back in the black. I moved a couple of players on for small fees and released a couple, I will let the under 18s staff go and and operate with only the first team and loan the rest out to hopefully stem the losses. Will also move on anyone not justifying their wage. Facilities No improvements at all this year, every request was denied due to our financial situation League one here we come

It’s interesting as my fc united save definitely had a massive dip in intake quality about 7 seasons in, but this was before I got promoted/ turned professional etc, I’ve just seen padders has just had his first wonder kid about 80 seasons in , I think I had 3 or 4 in one team on my Turkish save about 10 seasons in. There might be some hidden little thing in the game that turning pro puts you right to the bottom of the pro teams and you have to gradually build up . Who knows

FC United Update. Quite a few seasons to catch up on here so bear with me, took 10 seasons and I think 6 play off defeats before I finally won to get out of the bottom division and wasn't sure I was going to carry on at one point, Only 2 seasons in this division and just managed to avoid relegation last season. Its been very slow progress and I feel like England is the hardest challenge I have faced since trying this, Turkey was certainly easier to move up the divisions and the standard of player coming though was better especially in comparison to your opponents. That being said I have just had an unbeaten season!! ( first time ever I think) Promoted to league 2 and finally we have turned professional. At the start of the season I completely changed my tactics to suit the players I had, I looked at the team and my wingers were poor and not many options so I decided to play narrow and short passing as my strength seemed to be in ball playing mids and hard working forwards, defence is poor so I dropped the defence back but still keep the forwards with a high line. Obviously worked really well and got some great numbers Essama, Ba and Hughes are a great front three for this level I loved the look of Ba as soon as he come through, I don't seem to get many pacy players coming though, he also has good stats in most key areas especially for this level Essama also caught the eye as soon as he come through, good solid stats Hughes isn't as talented as the other two but has had great goalscoring numbers and was my best player a few years back I have hit a bad patch with youth intakes and haven't had any useable players come through for two years, this years intake only had one player worth having, I changed HOYD and he was a disaster, Model Pro but the standard of player dropped significantly with no elite talents two years in a row. This has left me was a small team as a let a few players go thinking new talent would come through to replace them Overall a very positive season and its turning into a good save, I just need some talent coming through again, New HOYD in but he has a fairly ambitious personality will see what i get coming through then look to change if its still poor Facilities as below Will have to see how professional status affects the finances next year, I might bin off my under 18s if it gets bad

FC UNITED 1ST SEASON REVIEW Early season prediction was to battle against relegation, we completely defied the odds and were actually top at one point mid season, a poor run of no wins in about ten games left us just about in the play off places. Unfortunately we lost in the semi final but its probably for the best as I think the team is actually pretty poor and I'm surprised how many games we won in the end. Youth intake Apparently an excellent intake, It might be because of the fact I've jumped straight from my top level Turkish save but the players looked terrible to me and poor personalities as well. Personal Progress Started my C badge, good to get that approved early I have struggled to get anything approved early on in other saves Facilities Board wouldn't consider any upgrades, not sure if this is to do with semi-pro status but I have 600k in the bank and that feels rich to me compared to saves in other countries let me spend the damn money Finances Didn't make a loss, so all good there

I have decided to pause my Turkish save and give England a go I'm immediately drawn to FC United, being a Man Utd Fan and not being a massive fan of the glazer era draws me in, I got carried away last night and I'm not far off finishing the first season let the journey begin

Gutting, he looked quality. When I’m struggling to get a player to agree to a contract I usually find a sell on fee % helps. Also I don’t play the good ones until they have signed a full time contract and I put a 3 year option in

Finances were really tight for my team for the first 5-6 seasons. I took on no scouting staff, no under 19 staff and kept a small team of 18 ish players and the board kept injecting money when we got in trouble. It’s been a grind but I’m sitting on 60m balance now.

Karsiyaka 11th Season Review A very successful season, 2nd in the league and we won the conference league !! It may not quite be the Champions League but it feels nice to win and has boosted the clubs reputation Forgot to do screenshots and I'm on the next season now 2nd place in the NXGN awards again Loads of talent in the team now, hopefully can win the league in the next couple of years. Galatasaray were literally unbeatable last year With the reputation boost I have finally been given the option to upgrade the youth facilities Onto the next year

Karsiyaka 9th and 10th season review Team feels much improved and I don't feel like I'm under threat of relegation now after a few years of struggling Facilities In good shape now, Frustratingly still have no option to upgrade youth facilities Last season finished mid table and felt more comfortable playing the bigger teams, no big losses and managed to draw in some big away games. This season I managed to qualify for europe Sales The reality at the moment is I have to make sales to keep the finances in shape, I have been very tight with finances so far this save, I have a fairly small amount of staff and only operate with a first team of 20 or so players and no youth teams Biggest sale so far, after finishing runner up in NXGN awards I knew he wouldn't stay for long. Board sold him but I did manage to convince them to get more money Thought it was a good price in the end and probably would have sold him myself My gk and Captain was also sold but this was my decision after he wanted 20k a week, for context my highest paid player is 4k and I only get about 10k fans for home games sad to see him go as he had a good personality etc and was best choice as captain but sold him for about 9m Current squad Best player Baran Gundiz, quality player and I think I will struggle to hold onto him, scored 16 league goals from midfield last season. Youth intake wasn't the best this year but I had one very good talent come through, not the tallest cb but looks great for 15 years old On to next year, hopefully I can do ok in Europe

thanks, i have had new presidents but its an election system with this club, develop players through the youth is one of the boards requirements, so you would think they might try and help me out

not even started the season and porto have taken another player off me no sell on fee because the president accepted the offer

Has anyone had issues with upgrading youth facilities ? I'm 8 seasons in and it hasnt come up with it as a request option

Karsiyaka 8th season review Quite simply a poor season, can be summed up in one picture Record low goal haul of 45 goals, Knocked out of europe in the first game, 6m loss for the season but apart from that, ok Released a few players that weren't good enough for this level and sold a couple Leaves me with a very young team Gunes could be the next out of the door as he isnt performing as well as id like

Not posted the last few seasons, been busy/ on holiday etc Karsiyaka 7th Season Review Quite a bit has happened since my last post, I made it to the top division and I have been flirting with relegation every year. Facilities are vastly improved Death, Taxes and Porto buying my players This year I decided not to get too attached to players as an unhappy squad was a feature every year after jan I sold all my best players with 50% sell on clauses Aksu I really didn't want to sell as I always struggle with fullbacks but psg came calling and he didn't want to stay. Isler was my best player and a great goalscorer from the rw I really expected to struggle as all the sales really weakened my team and left me with about 20 players in total(including youth) Strangely I had my best season by far, the gulf between the top 5 and the rest is massive. 4 or 5 of my first team were only 16 last year so I really have had to trust the youngsters standout performers Overall a very positive season and I'm happy with the high standard of youth players coming through I think I may struggle with Europe next year as I have a very small squad but thats my choice as I find it easier to manage a small team.

Karsiyaka 3rd Season Review We hold on to 1. Division Status with a lot of youth playing first team football I decided to cull some of the older members of the team and also has a few retirements, Best performer only just turned 18 with an impressive goal record, too bad he is talking about leaving Managed to get my star midfielder to sign on for another year, did offer him for sale but no takers Finished towards the bottom end of the table again, still got a fairly poor side for this level especially in defence, dont seem to be getting any full backs coming through so far, so i have had to resort to training midfielders into defenders Forgot to take a screen shot of the youth players, it was a supposed excellent take but I only signed 4 or 5 of them, was some terrible personalities and awful stats so I let most go. star of the intake below and he doesnt look that great to me got a couple of upgrades, one for junior coaching and one for youth recruitment Still no coaching badges onto the next year

Karsiyaka 2nd Season Just one of them seasons where no progress was made Three more retirements, the youngsters are going to be first teamers pretty quick here as I have lost half of my original team already I just managed to stay in the division, poor performances all round and my best player is in the last year of his contract, he wants 5k a week and I can only pay 1.2k max so I might try and get a fee for him I will miss him and his goals, was my top scorer last season and plays cm The club still wont let me do a training course, so no progress there I managed to get one upgrade on the youth recruitment, I'm now up to fairly basic with all my strikers retiring or not signing contracts I'm going into the next season with two 17 year olds upfront Both look good for this level tbf Aims for next season is to hopefully get a few more goals than last year and some kind of facility upgrade, I'm miles off promotion etc.

Karsiyaka First Season After a few failed attempts in other countries I'm having a crack at a team I did in 2021 A fantastic first season ends in promotion via the play offs, really happy with that as my best players are mostly old so could have been stuck in the division for a few years. standout performances from hakan (20 goals from cm) and my best player Buyuk, great quality for this level but unfortunately 37 years old. My 37 year old rw and my 41 year old gk both retire, wanted the rw to stay on especially with the 20 assists last year Excellent youth intake, especially for a first season with an average hoyd, only took the elite talents and a couple of others this year. Decided to be more fussy and not take players I know i will just end up releasing I don't know what my boards expectations will be for the next season, but i will be looking just to cling on in the league. Transfers Had a few pre arranged transfers and I sold my best cb pretty much straight away as he wanted to leave, duran shipped out for a massive 800 quid, I also have 3 or 4 youth players that are going for free but I got 35% future fees on them Didn't manage to get anything from the board this year, facilities or personal progression, hopefully with promotion they will let me start doing the courses.

Ive just taken over a team and they already have transfers arranged for players to come in, cant remember having that before. what's the score with them ? They have only just been promoted i just cant remember having players join in the first season before

Any reason why there is no info for Turkish league on the first page , is there some sort of bug there ?

First time attempting this for a couple of years, had a disaster in Scotland. Sacked after 5 seasons. Board asked me to play at least 2 youngsters regularly, I played 5 during the season and then got sacked for not meeting the target. Had a very promising looking youngster there so a bit gutted on that one. started again in Iceland, finances are very poor. Losing a few hundred k a year despite operating on a 5 k a week wage budget. No real progress with any players due to poor facilities and coaches and semi pro status will do a few more seasons to see if I can get anywhere with it. Only plus is they let me do my coaching badges all the time. will do proper updates once I’m settled with a good team, still feel like I haven’t quite found my team yet
