  1. Cheers for the reply! Went for the OMEN in the end as found a 10% code and it's more than enough for my needs. For anyone interested Tesco have 10% off various laptops: https://www.tesco.com/direct/special-offer/save-10-percent-on-selected-windows-laptops-when-you-spend-399-pound-or-more-with-ecoupon-code-tdx-pmxj/promo48150063.promo?sortBy=1&icid=laptoppc_main_slot2&source=awin&awc=7090_1501594380_c3c53f4c86e6fce06a60e8ed78f1aab0&sc_cmp=aff*awin*gmo*VoucherCodes_67035&utm_medium=gmo&utm_source=affiliate_window&utm_campaign=aff*VoucherCodes_67035&source=awin&awc=7052_1502289334_853c3164b07cffeee0d071c329b2844f
  2. Hi lads, Does this HP Omen model provide good value for the money spent? https://www.tesco.com/direct/hp-15-ax200na-omen-156-intel-i7-7700hq-8gb-ddr4-ram-256gb-ssd-gtx-1050-full-hd-shadow-mesh-gaming-laptop/152-6599.prd?skuId=152-6599&pageLevel=sku&sc_cmp=ppc*PX+-+DNF+Electrical*PX+-+Shopping+GSC+-+Generic+-+Computing*PRODUCT+GROUP152-6599*&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI4OiivoHB1QIVhJ3tCh0S6QFIEAQYBSABEgLZovD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds&source=others I've been looking at various models of the Omen and that looks to be the cheapest one that still has i7. I see this model is priced slightly higher but I'm not exactly sure why when comparing them. http://www.laptopsdirect.co.uk/hp-omen-15-ax208na-core-i7-7700hq-8gb-1tb-256gb-ssd-geforce-gtx-1050-2gb-1jl21ea/version.asp#/specs Would be willing to spend up to £1200 ish if there is better value to be found. Would be looking for something that is not likely to need updating for a few years and will run FM fairly smoothly with quite a deep DB. Cheers.
  3. Nice post!! Love Arg football irl and in FM. I'm an English 'socio' of Belgrano and go to every home game. Hoping this year I can match my FM15 save in which Dybala and Franco Vazquez lead us to Club World Cup glory!! It's a very interesting set up to play in, with 7-8 teams having a realistic shot at the title in FM. Just make sure you don't lose too many games .... or the barra will be paying you a visit at the training ground ;). PS: Clasico Cordobes is back now in Primera with Talleres' recent promotion. Worth adding!!
  4. As an update incase, as mentioned, a certain Mr Aguero is reading, you can play the game in the UK so long as the game was originally activated in the country the region lock applies to. Purchased a South American copy from http://www.fmsite.net/pages/comprar-football-manager-2016/ with no problems.
  5. Not planning on going to any of them! I had a UK copy last year that was fine running in Argentina. Just wondering if it works the same the other way round given the lock applies to Argentina. From what I've read it seems it's ok so long as the copy is 'activated' in Argentina prior to usage in the UK. But as you say it's probably better to get official confirmation. Do you know where I can get this? Tried contacting Steam a while ago and got no reply.
  6. I'm currently back and forth between Argentina and the UK (UK resident). I'm in Argentina at the moment. Am I ok to buy the game via the Argentine steam store? Will I still be able to play it in the UK when I am back provided I have already activated it here in Argentina. If not, how can I go about purchasing the game in a way that I can play it in both countries? Cheers.
