Just wanted to ask before I start a save, is the exclusion of Russian teams from UEFA and FIFA replicated in FM23? Thank you.

At the beginning of the game, I've indicated I'd like to have staff meetings every 2 weeks. But something doesn't look quite right here. It's the night before a Copa Libertadores match playing against Sporting Crystal from Peru. I'm the away team. I've just had my pre-match conference. And then I'm being asked to attend my fortnightly staff meeting? Unless I've missed something, we should be able to have our fortnightly staff meeting BUT on a day to be determined by me, the manager. Maybe on a Monday, the day after the weekend matches or else on a Thursday, the days after the Copa Libertadores. But not the night before.

I am managing BOca Juniors. We have just reached the Copa Argentina beating River Plate 2 - 1 in the semi-final. One of my star players is defender Avila who has scored more then 10 goals from free kicks. He feels he deserves an improved contract. I don't really want to give one as his contract only runs out at the end of 2024. That is still 3 years away. But I promised we'd discuss it later. The only demand I have a problem with is his release clause for foreign clubs. He wants it set at 3.7 million pounds. He is too valuable to me and I'd like to set it much higher. Unfortunately I can't as the option is not there. So do I not give him a new contract and he walks away in anger at the end of 2024 or give the player what he demands and he can walk away for 3.7 million pounds in 2 months time?

I am currently managing Boca Juniors in Argentina. I'm second in the league with 3 games in hand on the team leading. According to the board expectations/vision, I am expected to sign high reputation players and sign Colombian players. Currently the board is disappointed with the lack of progress made towards this vision. But why? First of all, my transfer budget is only about 2 million Pounds. So that would automatically exclude signing high reputable players as they inevitably cost considerably more then 2 million Pounds. On top of that, signing Colombian players of a decent level would also not be able with that transfer budget. My 2 main strikers at the start of the game are Benedetto and Orsini at the start of the game. Benedetto has scored 27 across all competitions. This is from 26 starts and 6 sub appearances. Orsini has 19 goals across all competitions. This is from 20 starts and 11 as a sub. I added a 22 year old Argentinian striker from Atletico San Luis from Mexico. While in Mexico he scored 14 from 53 but has so far scored 11 from 9 for me. So he is not high profile but his performances have been excellent. The board is satisfied with my transfer activity, but only because the player agreed to lower wages when compared to his ability. No thoughts on his performances. On the other hand, I sold 2 players at a significant loss, one of whom is Colombian. The board are not happy with that. But still they are satisfied with my transfer activity. I don't know. It's a bit as if board vision and expaectations do not align with what is happening at the club. Thoughts please?
