Same here. I'm always "I'm gonna do a back 2 with 3 Registas and all mad stuff". New Brighton save. guess what? 4-3-3!

I love a mezzala CM su combination. I think CM su is my favourite role actually. I'm using them in my current save with QPR. I think they compliment each other really nicely and I never have any issue with my mezzala contributing and he has 4 goals and 2 assists in 8 games this season

I had a player like this actually who was shocking as an Inside Forward but with this trait was a completely different player played as an Inverted Winger. Scorer and creator. I didn't realise at first until I watched more closely and could see how influential he was within the bigger picture of things. He linked well with my False 9 in that system. He did have excellent off the ball ratings too which helped I think.

This is great I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this. I don't often comment on things anymore as I don't have the time really but this caught my eye. I'm kinda at a crossroads with my Plymouth save and was wondering which direction to go in, system wise and this thread has given me a bit of a boost and a couple of new ideas and thoughts on where to go next. I'm trying to do it only signing British players and using the youth system but wasn't sure about the rest of it. Ill keep reading this it's very interesting well done on a great couple of posts.

This is very, very good. I'm not using a 4-3-3 but trying to build a DNA type strategy in my Wolves save with a similar pathway. There's an awful lot to consider. There are a few things that I almost demand of myself in the system I setup and use, certain roles within the structure and this is no different. I'm really looking forward to reading more of this as it's caught my eye and not a lot does anymore I've been playing the game for so long. Keep it coming.
