  1. Since I dont't think that there will be a fix for the financial problem in belgium, I'll restart the challenge soon. At the moment I am thinking about the country I am doing it in (Poland, Czech Republic, Denmark, Romania, Croatia are on my mind) One question @darren1983 / @XaW I am thinking about using the great "Increase Realism"-Megapack from Daveincid. Is this a database update which can be used and you just get a note if you complete it (since it's only makes the game harder) or is it forbidden?
  2. It's possible with some skins, I am using the Zealand skin for these examples.
  3. @OlivierL I made a new topic for the financial bug in belgium because the old one was only about the teams getting promoted to the 3rd division. Maybe you want to share your simulation file there, too:
  4. Unfortunately, the finances seem to be broken in Belgium. Because there's close to no income, most of the teams are losing so much money that they will go deep in the red. After a few seasons, most of the teams in the three playable leagues are so deep in the red that I don't think they will ever get out of it... Yes, they can sell a player sometimes and get some money back, but they are losing so much money that this helps only a short time. I understand that Belgium is a football country where the teams sell player to bigger clubs in better leagues, but the amount of money they are losing in FM23 is way too high (especially for the teams in the lower leagues who can sell any players). With this numbers, every club would file for bankruptcy after 2 years.. I simulated 3 years into the future. I used the Zealand skin where I can see the finances from every team and attached a few screenshots for you. And I uploaded the save game (Belgium sim - 3 Seasons.fm), so you can look around and check for yourself how big this problem is.
  5. That's a shame, but I see your point and thanks for the test with the simulation into the future. Hope SI will fix the finances in Belgium soon
  6. Always Extended Highlights, except maybe a cup game or last games of the season if everything is decided with "key", never instant result. And yes, the challenges take time (never finished one ), but you win back a lot of time because you don't do transfer, don't need to scout any potential signings etc.
  7. KSC Lokeren-Temse First Season (2023 / 2024) A promotion to begin with As a professional team in a league with around 50% semi-professional teams promotion was a walk in the park, so there's not much to tell you about that. Off the pitch there was only one big topic: As I feared after hearing the stories from all the other people trying the challenge in Belgium, the finances are a huge problem. Over 2 million in the red after the first season will make this challenge much more difficult in the future. The Facts The Best Players We started with the oldest squad in the league (average age: 28.05yrs), but they delivered. Especially Simon Vermeiren (33yrs, 27 goals), Julien Vercauteren (31yrs, 7 goals & 10 assists) and Alexander Maes (32yrs, 9 goals & 7 assists). The New Youth Intake Not the best (more the worst) personalities, but a lot of players with high potential, who should help us in the future. Potkamp could make a few league appearances next season already since Vercauteren decided to leave us. And he's great for pressing football. Regarding El Joumani: Still undecided if I will use him as a striker or as a right winger. Hi acceleration is not good, but all other attributes make him better suited for the flanks. I hope it's okay that I've taken your design (btw: love all the great graphic designs in this thread, but since I am very, very bad at graphics I can only admire them )
  8. @SuperRedditch I am sorry for your old save, but with this team and a purple kit going up against RB is such a nice challenge. I envy you, that I didn't think about that.. Looking forward to your updates.
  9. I have an Autosave a few weeks earlier (from 27th october instead of 13th november). It's uploaded as fringePlayerBug_2710_Kazushi80.fm
  10. My player Gil Van Moerzeke has the squad status "fringe player" (had it the whole time, was never changed). At one point he came to me, that he's unhappy about his playing time. I promised to play him. Since that promise, I've played him in every game (11 in total), 9 of them he started, in 5 he played the whole 90 minutes. So that's way more playing time than a fringe player gets. But still it says in his "Happiness"-Screen that his "actual playing time" is "surplus to requirements" (see screenshots). Because of that, he gets unhappy that the promise is not kept. Steps to reproduce: - load save game "Unhappy_fringe_player_bug.fm" - check player Gil Van Moerzeke - move forward a few days to see the player moan about the promise not kept
  11. Okay, thanks a lot I did find that, thought there was an additional option.
  12. Thank you. And: Yes, that's want I want to do, but I can't find the option, where I can change the responsibility for the intakes to my assistant manager...
  13. After a few years doing other saves and challenges, I give this another go - in Belgium with K.S.C. Lokeren-Temse A club formed following the bankruptcy of two-times cup winner Sporting Lokeren through a merger with amateur side KSV Temse. Can we make a comeback? Or will it end in another financial disaster? (I am aware of the problems in Belgium) We start with the oldest squad in the league and without promising youngsters from the intake in the first season - and of course with no experience and knowledge (sorry for the german screenshot, didn't think to switch before taking it) And one question at the start: Where can I change the responsibility for the youth intake to another member of my staff if I don't have a Head of Youth Development? Can't find it after so many years, I didn't need it. Thanks
  14. Yes, it's working for me now. Needed to get into a new season and after that it worked.
