Had this problem when using a GTX GPU some years ago. A driver update caused this to keep happening all of a sudden so I had to roll back.

It’s a bit more complicated than that. An employer is allowed to use an under-represented characteristic to select a candidate from among those who are otherwise equally qualified for the job, and can encourage or enable applications from under-represented groups. All-female shortlists (for example) are illegal. The Govt of the time gave themselves an explicit exception to the law to allow for all-female Parliamentary candidate shortlists.
There are a few other jobs which are exempt, for example bra-fitters

Which setting is it exactly that you want to view?

So after deciding to start a little higher up, I've ditched three of the leagues (but none of the countries);

Well?.... Did you press Start Game or Go Back?? 😉
Unfortunately for level 9 club Hucknall Town, I pressed Start Game.

After missing FM23, a weird 6 months, with a day off and finally getting my hands on the additional leagues/mods I was after for FM24, it's time....

That worked - thank you

Trying to create the Sudani Cup, really basic 32 team affair. 18 clubs in the top division, I can get the editor to verify those & pick all 18.
When I then attempt to add any clubs from the 2nd division (Sudani Lower Leagues, 28 teams) it only ever picks 3.
If I add the two rules at the same time, it picks 21 - so 18 from the top division, plus 3.
If I remove the top division rules, it still will only pick 3 from the second division.
Any ideas?

Really looking forward to this release. Years since I last used it, but have recently moved to a place whose team is in level 9 (I think?) and itching to see how far I can take them.
Itching to start a save now, so this might be my new year's save, but looking forward to it all the same!

I have no issues with the editor ? I've created a new nation with leagues and cups and continental tournaments etc . No issues at all . Why is there an issue ?
Kits are not visible.

Genuine question.
SI tend to consider a "release cycle" as completed once the Feb/March transfer update / final patch is out. Given that a number of new features advertised prior to release are not working as intended (or just not working), is it possible that when these features are mentioned pre-release, there is already knowledge with SI that they won't be ready "on release", but will be ready during the release cycle?
Because it's pretty clear that the knowledge re. The Japan issues was there prior to release, as admitted by Miles.
And if they did know that, and if these things are in by the time the "release cycle" is over, is that ok? As I say, genuine question.
That statement has made me feel better after days of radio silence, but what we have been given Vs Miles' statement about this being "the most polished version ever" worries me. I thought he was being transparent when he said that. Now I worry that this version will have a shorter release cycle, and that all the talk of how amazing FM25 is going to be is actually to take focus off this release, which let's be honest, is as messy as anything they've ever released, with the possible exception of Championship Manager 4.

Not that I noticed, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there.

I often play with fake players, particularly if I start a save in the summer which makes the squads out of date. Actually had quite a lot of fun with it in the past - it does make things a little more interesting with personality spread. They do replace real players, but there IS some variance to nationalities here & there. Player histories also disappear so after a few seasons it can get quite difficult to identify who players were.

Hi I am playing FM24. I am using my FM23 save, there is a regen player with a swearword as his surname. The f word and his first name is Advaldo so it reads A.F*** which is quite funny lol. Plays in the premier league so hes done well for himself. I have no mods or anything. I wanted to know if thats a proper surname or is it a bug?
Finally some positive feedback 😂

Since I decided to wait for an update before starting my save, I decided to go into the editor and do some kit edits (seriously, why can I find out that Venda Football Academy play in Yellow by typing "Venda" into Google and doing an image search yet the South African researcher has them playing in blue?!?!)
Alas, the kit editing area of the editor is broken also. I know this has already been raised in the bugs forum, but it's got to be said, this is not going well.

Mate, it's a feedback thread. What on Earth are you on with? People are providing feedback, and the feedback from people who wanted a complete J-League, as promised, is that there isn't a complete J-League, as promised. What's the issue?

And if you're ok with companies selling products on new features and then not actually providing them and not responding to questions about it, then I feel for you too. Let's leave it there though.

I'd warrant those with the sharpest pitchforks have either no idea what's actually missing or have absolutely zero intention of ever managing there. It'll get fixed when it's ready. It's unfortunate it's not been done in time for release, but these things happen sometimes. Let it go, it's really not that important.
Sorry mate, should have checked with you first before deciding how big of an issue it was.
The Developer used the words "fully licensed" prior to release, and then released without full licensing and then changed the language so it didn't say "fully licensed" anymore. They have then gone completely silent on the matter.
If you're ok with that, then fair enough. But please don't tell me what I should and shouldn't find important. Cheers.

@Jack Joyce Thanks for coming into the thread and engaging with the community - I know this is something that doesn't happen elsewhere, so it's appreciated.
Any update on the Japan licensing issues though? I am hoping to here that these issues will be resolved, but I suspect that is not the case.

Having played at various levels the goalies in lower leagues are terrible and for some reason after 60 minutes some games just go wild where goals are scored with every shot for either side.
So a game where you were 2-0 up and would probably end 2-0 IRL will end 6-3 for no reason with 7 goals coming in about the last 20 mins.
Out of interest, is this worse for teams whose keepers have lower stamina ratings? ie. Keeper with 10 stamina is conceding less than player with 4 stamina?

A few clubs have generic badges and Kits.
The way people are acting you'd think the J-League wasn't even playable.
Agreed it's a bit naughty to suggest the league was fully licensed and not even mention during the beta when people reported these players/badges/kits missing that well actually we don't have THAT licensed and probably never will.
Someone suggesting SI are as bad as EA is laughable.
EA would have made the claim it was a playable fully licensed league kept the J-League back as a loot box exclusive unlock and charged us all £200 extra for it oh and it would still not be fully licensed.
Others are suggesting a review bombing campaign or even refunding the game.
It's absolute peak gamers(TM) bedwetting.
Plus the issue will be entirely fixable with the click of two buttons within days.
Yeah, again - agree with everything you have said, aside from the bit where you make out it's acceptable practice from a company to sell a product using language that implies something that isn't true.
I'm not going to be asking for a refund, I am going to find a fix and use that, I am not at all going to say that they are as bad as EA, and I am not going to leave a bad review on steam.
What I am absolutely going to do though is call out actual sharp and dodgy practice from a company I have trusted for 25 years, and their lack of transparency about it at this point.

I understand the anger over the Japanese licensing issue and support anyone angry over it. However, to be simply pragmatic for a moment, there already is a 'fix' to include the missing 150 players available. It's apparently imperfect in its first guise, but I'm sure by tomorrow or the next day it will be fully usable. The point is, there is a workaround that allows you to create your save. It shouldn't take too much research to track it down. I'm sure you can Sort It Out.
Missing the point. This was sold as a "headline feature", and "fully licensed". Not actually true.
They clearly should have been transparent with this.

Does it feel like the roaming playmaker role gives away too many passes?
in Football Manager General Discussion
Posted
With a playmaker role, he will draw the ball more. If you tend to play a possession based style, with those ppms he will likely be taking more passing risks that the rest of your team, so law of averages says he will give the ball away more often than anyone else.
I'd be comparing his passes completed % to your other players - is it that he gives the ball away more than them, or that he just does so in riskier situations due to his role and ppms?
Also, think about the roles of the rest of your midfield. If your rpm is on defend and everyone else is more advanced or on attack, he will be hitting even more risky passes, this increasing the likelihood he will give the ball away.
