  1. I agree with all the people saying some of the comments are hugely jumping the gun. I struggled with the FM20 match engine and found it hard to influence as I wanted. I see some significant hope in the fact that the match day UI revamp, which is clearly supposed to focus us back onto what we see happening on the pitch, suggests there have been significant under the hood improvements.

  3. @KennedyBakircioglu Can you explain a little more how to do this - I've never played around with skins, but this looks like a real improvement. I was able to download the dark and light base skin ok and these work as expected Then understood that you'd taken panels from @bluestillidie00's TCS skin and added them in? I tried this, so now I have \Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2020 Touch\skins\fmc-dark\panels\player\player attributes panel, but I don't have the full fat FM look to the player attributes...? Thanks in advance...
  4. Question from a thread about individual position/role training in GD Interested to know how this works with the new training. If I train a player as box to box, a bunch of attacking and defensive attributes are trained. How does this interact with the training selected day by day and the whether he is in the attacking or defensive training unit? For example if he’s in the defensive unit and we’re focussed on defensive training will his dribbling not improve?

  6. Go to the individual trading page and it’s in the bottom right corner of the section with the player’s attributes on.

  9. I'm playing a similar style in L2 - I don't have shape tips, but I just discovered the joys of the defensive forward today. Applies pressure, breaks the lines and comes short without any of that "hold up ball" nonsense that kills attacking movement in systems that don't rely on possession. It also seems to work well as a lone striker or as a pair. I'm so impressed with mine that I'd really reccomend you include one in your system.
  10. After all this can someone clearly explain what visible attributes are "free" in terms of CA? I think from the discussion I have flair, aggression and determination. Is that correct and complete?
  11. What does this mean? Leadership doesn't cost CA? Is this the only visible attribute this applies to, or are there others?
  12. You assistant will suggest a free kick taker, I guess that's the AI giving you hints. I usually use my own advice and I've only ever had one great free kick taker. He had 17 for free kicks and decent decisions and concentration. It was at Vanarama South level though.
  13. Except if your tactic is more reliant on the physical aspects than others in the league.
  14. I've not been able to get a 4231 working in counter, myAM R/L won't drop deep enough for a compact defensive shape no matter what roles/PI's you use. I switched to a 4141 and adjusted the wide players roles to get the attacking shape I wanted which has helped a lot. Maybe you can find a 42211 variant that does the same for you?
  15. I recall I raised this in the bugs forum last year, but got very busy and never followed it up with a relevant saved game. I recall I wanted to check if it was different at the start of a save, vs changing clubs mid game. Maybe someone with the problem could take a more detailed look and submit a new bug report.
